Can you get a tblisi approach plate and fly the dme arc / use the approach fix? Idk if dcs even has those. Good job btw! This is what dcs simulates best in my opinion. Great vid
ru.flyua.net/images/charts/UGTB.pdf - a 2011 chart that shows some different headings and elevations vs. DCS Tblisi chart - which is also not current?? DCS chart shows runway 12R not 13R. Anyways this has a 17.1nm DME arc @ 6700' from the VOR on page 11. Finishes the arc at 14.5 DME - right about where I wound up by winging it except I was very high up!
@@briantoplessbar4685 I have flown DME arcs before in BMS, but never really tried fiddling with the course dial like you’re supposed to - stepping constantly thru different radials as you fly the arc. Will have to try it as well
@@Wheelman_PCAS yep in BMS I just set the final approach course after I intersect the IAF and fly the DME arc till I get till I hit turn to final. Preety much just keep correct distance and that’s it I guess I need to map my course knob!
