I just built one of these - love your mods. Definitely going to be trying them. I have seen the diode "trick" before but not your other recommendations. That 24 ohm resistor after the input transformer - was that for input impedance matching? Never mind - got a bit further in your video and you explained it ;)
Hello , as far i can recall, my input impedance was about 12 to 15 Ohms after the transformer . Adding the 22 Ohm is really assisting to provide you a great imput impedance and SWR . i try different value but for this amplifier is 22 Ohm . i have built exactly the same Amplifier and for the other one the resistor is 15 Ohm . I guess i depends the quality of the winding , the wire we are using and the Core quality. The trick with the Diodes is really assisting to stabilize the amplifier and i can use it for FT8 or PSK without issue with about 20 up 25w Output 73s Didier
@@f5npv-v85npvamateurradio3 pouvez-vous m'expliquer quel sont les connections a chaque bout de votre chaine de diode? ou sont tel souder? si possible pouvez-vous me dire le numero de model des diodes? est-ce possible d'avoir un petit diagrame du circuit modifier vis-a-vis les diode? jai suis dans la phase final de mon petit projet d'amplis et je veux m'assurer de ne pas avoir de problème. pensez-vous qu'avec votre modification de diode plus l'ajous d'une alarme de temperature je pourais attendre un niveau acceptable d'utilisation?
