With veal cutlets going for $20/ lb and more I'm lucky to have it 3 or 4 times a year. I remember when I was a kid we would have veal cutlets at least once a month. My father didn't make a lot of money so I don't know how he was able to feed a family of 7 and still have enough left over for sandwiches the next day.

Oh my! I made it and it was SO GOOD that 3 days later I'm making it again (and yes I made a fair size batch but after sharing with others, it's all gone ☺)
