Apologies if the voiceover sounds off in this video! My office and microphone aren't mixing well lately! Hoping to improve it soon! Please like, share and subscribe if you do enjoy this content!
@@Skyrionngoing through that classic fable binge phase I’m sure you’ve been through, aeon edition 3.0 and new title next year has me hyped! Hopefully it’s Q1-Q2 release 2025!
I concur. Being able to play as William/Scythe and having to shape the Old Kingdom into Albion would make for an old-school, feel-good gaming experience. It's an utter shame that Lionhead went caput years ago.
@@Zeppelee Microsoft owns them now, they also own Bethesda maybe they can get them on it. I don't want it to play like a skyrim or God forbid fable fallout 76 but if Bethesda does anything right its big expensive worlds imagine fable game play in a big ass Bethesda world space that would be pretty dope
@@preludetodemise Microsoft has commisoned playground games to do a reboot on the series look it up! Hopefully they do a great job and we can see some other time perioids in albion.
@@preludetodemise no just no! After releasing Skyrim for almost every 3 years i do not trust them. Let alone touch my beloved childhood franchise and turn it into something god awful and incomplete mess.
I think I've said this before, but I'd love to see a game or even a book set in the Old Kingdom's era. Scythe seems like a very interesting character and I'd like to see more of him. Great video!
Unpopular opinion but I feel like they should never make a piece of media about the old kingdom that's not just vague lore scattered in books across Albion. I feel as though the intention of the old kingdom is to strike wonder and imagination while actually going to that time period defeats the purpose, the unknown is what makes the machines powered by will, countless magical artifacts, and strange creatures that much better.
@@IHateSmilingFriendsTheTVShow I see your point and I kinda agree. I guess I would be satisfied to have a new Fable game in which you're actually a powerful being like in Fable 1. I love 2 and 3, but you can clearly see that those two heroes are no match for Teresa's brother.
@@stefanoponce6090 oh yeah fs fs tho it's not certain I think you are in luck as the reboot (take this with a grain of salt) based off the teaser seems to be either post fable 1 or around fable 1 meaning closer to the bloodline and therefore more powerful. I'm personally hoping to see the collapse of the guild or play through that era
It must be terrible being Scythe. Forever immortal, watching the world change and his family tree slowly dillute without being able to intervene himself.
This was why fable and fable tlc was so good there was always lore that could be found and it made tou wanna explore or go to them places but you couldnt if the new fable is anything like this will be good hopefully they dont mess it up
If we were to get a game set during this time, I agree that I wouldn’t want to play as Will. His story is set in stone. I’d want to be a separate Hero, before Hero became a title. A loyal knight in Will’s army. While Will fights the Court, this Hero fights demons of the Void. After their defeat this Hero is granted Will powers either by Will himself or other means. The antagonists would be a cult that worshiped the Court and plan to bring Jack back. The Cult of Blades if you will. Will is in the Void and his heirs basically useless, you face the threat with the 3 Heroes that would eventually die at the original spire. The ultimate choice comes down to a choice, either this Hero dawns the mask of Jack for himself, becoming the first of Jack’s bodies, or the cult leader sacrifices an innocent person that you met along the way who has the abilities of a Hero. No matter the choice, this Hero’s bloodline is revealed to be that of Weaver’s. Post game works like the first Fable where even if you have the Mask you still can do whatever you want. Either Weaver is recounting this tale to Scythe or young children, or it’s simply Theresa narrating the whole time, I’ll take either.
I doubt we'll get another Fable game that's set after Fable III, but if we do it would be really cool to see Schythe and Rose again. Maybe there could be a quest about helping him put his soul to rest.
Music is a little loud in this one man, but still a great vid. The quality jumps every time, the shots in this video especially are beautiful! You're killing it dude, so glad we're in the same fb fable group haha
I need the new fable game to be a complete reboot. We have a golden opportunity to go back and play a game through the old kingdom or even earlier. I actually do want to play the game as William black and his story could easily be 2 games long with a third as a child of black. The devs working on the new fable game can reembrace the best aspects of the property and discard all the worst parts
A few days ago I randomly decided to play the anniversary edition of Fable for the first time. I played the original version of Fable on the og Xbox when the game came out, and bought the anniversary edition for my son when it came out(with obvious plans to play it myself at some point lol). Today, I found your videos. Very well made, and an excellent addition to the experience of playing the game again, which has stood up to the test of time very well and is still quite enjoyable to play. Thank you for the time and effort that you put into making these videos, keep up the good work.
Scythe's my favorite hero in the series. I honestly could see a Zelda like sidegame about his rise to power it would be nice to see the old kingdom in glory for once.
I'd just like to make a point about the vid u made about the door in Aurora in F3. Halo 3 is currently being updated with new content, armours, weapon skins, maps. Once F4 comes out, we may see the door in Aurora being used for a super duper late DLC if Playground Games decides to take a similar approach with the games as people, literally, STILL play these games today, still stream these games today, and still make videos about these games to this day. #fable3dlc2022
Here is a good question, so if you choose to destroy the sword of aeons like I did in the first game, what do you think that means for William Blacks soul? Does he get if back does it just get destroyed like the sword?
Well, considering he's still around after the game ends I'd like to think he's just fine, I don't think he's immortal because his soul is tied to the sword, I believe it's the lack of the soul that makes him immortal, that in culmination with a strong will (which has always been suggested to increase longevity)
I would love to be able to fight the blades maybe it's like a mini story within fighting as your own character like you're jumping into a memory of Will and fighting the blades as will or as your own personal character
My Fiancee just pointed out that your version of this story would be a deadly anime with you narrating it 😁 just the way you tell all these stories and the details you have are brilliant 😁
I wonder if that sword is some kind of actual God? Like maybe it made the court, possibly past humans it gave magic, took their souls, and when they got boring made another. Like a bored God trying to entertain itself?
G man s plan revealed : Hi Sky , this is a theory video suggestion G man finally explained : Besides the famous question Who is The G man with every other questions this brings the second question is what is it inside the G man s briefcase ? First , we need to go back at Opposing Force when the G man reactivates the bomb. But he doesnt ! He concentrates all the blast inside The Void ( the false vail of time that Freeman and now Alyx resides ) ! What really destroys Black Mesa is Shepard killing the portal monster . Killing an exploding gene worm with explosions on both worlds is enough to destroy Black Mesa . The biggest embarrassment has Been Black Mesa Facility because he realized one thermal nuke isnt going to blow up a simple rock . Black Mesa is just a stone so it s annoying to think a nuke isnt going to cut it but a nuke is a nuke and so he went to get Gordon Freeman and Black Mesa game proves it : There was an explosion that destroyed the chamber of the Nihilant and all the portal energy released is in his briefcase the void . The Border World Xen is in our control for the time being thanks to you , meaning The Combine cannot border Earth through Xen but the Combine did got to Earth and G man wasnt expecting they adapted local transportation so quick quick enough for a 7 hour war instead of 7 minutes. In Half Life 2 we saw another explosion and he put Gordon inside the briefcase again but the vorts released him and he didnt have enough time to contain the explosion inside his briefcase due to the vorts . He went back in time to arrange vortigaunts capture but the combine captured him as well until Alyx freed him and imprisoned herself. Anyway G man still has the nuke inside the void . Only time will tell what s next
So I get how Scythe and Reaver both had unnaturally long lives, but how does Theresa do it? And what of the fate of John Fable? Some 500 years later, I suppose it makes sense that his descendant Sparrow would only live into his 50s or 60s, but seriously, is Theresa some kind of ghost? I mean she "dies" in The Journey, but I dunno man...
Hm all hero’s are part of Scythes family? So even Whisper and her brother which weren’t even from Albion? Aren’t many of the from familys of Will users which were trained by Scythe?
What if in the next people we're supposed to take the soul of will and take it out of the sword and put it back in him and then kill him to help him or something
