Thank you so much for this video. I do multiple types of sewing (clothes, crafts, quilting, etc.) and was so happy to find a fabric storage video for more than just quilting fabric. When I saw the dress form in the background, I thought, “Now this is the video I’ve been searching for!” Your tips are simple, straight forward, helpful, and adaptive. Thank you, again!

Do you store your fabric up and down on wall?

I have a shelf above the peg board and i store in totes. Shelf is for eminent use; the rest go in totes. Happy Sewing!!!

You have to wash it! Even if you buy it from the fabric store, because fabric tend to shrink.

If you quilt, you may not want to preshrink. I like the look of a quilt that shrinks after its first wash, therefore I do not preshrink my quilting cotton. Thanks for watching!!!

I prewash anything I am making clothes with, because size matters with the final product. With quilting, I dont prewash anything except some dark colored batik. They have potential to bleed.
