Fabric Wrapping - No sew Pillow Sham 

This is the BEST hack ever! I used this to create a makeshift pillow case for a large wedge pillow using an extra fabric shower curtain I had. It worked like a charm! This method also makes it easy to decorate for different holidays using fabric, and it's reusable!

I just did this with a yard of extra fabric and a pillow I had lying around that I wasn't using. Now it's a whole new decorative couch pillow to match the rug I just bought! Thanks for helping spruce up my living room!

I just did this I used a 18 x 18 pillow and one yard of fabric with the edge folded over to make it a square. Thank you for posting this video! now my living room has a little more POP to it :D and its so easy!

This is a great way to give a gift of just about any size - even a book! I know I for one have more fabric than I'll ever have time to sew - and that includes a lot of sale yardage I bought impulsively even in recent years that no longer is on my priority list. This pillow sham is such a great gift to give to anyone like a new bride or first apartment. You could even include another square of fabric inside with the pillow and you've given them the option to change the look for seasons, holidays, party themes, etc. And what quilter wouldn't appreciate another fat quarter (or more?) to add to their stash (just incase the fabric you chose doesn't match their decor OR they love it so much they have just the quilt pattern for it). Oh I could so see this method used to cover a couch throw quilt or a baby quilt you've made that you're giving to someone. Perhaps you could use one or two coordinating fabrics that were in the quilt or even make a large layered square of top and back (no batting), sewn around the borders right sides together and then turned inside out, slip stitching shut the opening so the recipient would have a long-term pillow sham for the folded up quilt. Just be sure to show the recipient how to fold it as she did in the video and/or include a note with the link for this video. And while I'm thinking of it, someone in WSFC's group could make a short tutorial for what I've just suggested. Yup, I realize the title of this video includes the words, "no sew". But the next video, if it had to be "no sew", could be to use stitch witchery or fusable interfacing (although I personally would choose to sew the two layers around the edges and maybe even sew a big X across the finished sham it so one could at least hand- if not machine-wash it to avoid any threads coming loose. A non- or new-sewist probably hasn't invested in a pair of pinking shears yet). Just some ideas off the top of my head . . . These are great simple instructions - even a clumsy male could give put this together as a housewarming gift -- and wouldn't the recipient be so surprised by their cleverness?

Hi Monica, I been feeling crafty and needed some pillows for my RV and didn't want to spend money like I already have on some, so I been looking at various no sew videos, which helped as well & used different design and techniques from you and them. I remembered witchery from High School, WOW! and thought maybe there be something I could put together been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOng time since I have sewed. I am sure if you look close you will see the flaws, but I am happy enough and they will go great with the sheers I am putting up, to bad can't post pic :-). Any-who, thanks.

This is a great technique! I do not have,a sewing machine nor do I have the patience to sew. I was looking for no sew diy pillow covers and this is perfect to change up my older Christmas pillows. So do you suggest to get a yard of fabric? I have pillows this same size you used but I also have some smaller and some longer. With a yard of fabric I could always half it? Yay!!
