Back to work again on the 1967 Massey. We need parts that are broken or missing and obsolete. Then, and only then, do we uncover a huge problem! email: ratzlaffmotorco@gmail.com website: ratzlaffmotorco.com
You are very patient Sir Jay! Keep working through things. You are doing a great job even through the difficulties. I would have thought parts would have been easier to locate for it honestly.
Wow! What a BUMMER!!! I, too, thought the water thing was a done deal but we've been fooled by an engine block??? Like my good ole pal Tennessee Ernie would say -- you got a "hitch in your get-a-long". Hopefully something will get you through this & your good, innovative fabrication won't go to naught. Thanks for sharing this episode with us even though it turned sour in the end. A Hollywood movie wouldn't end like this but this is reality. I choose reality over Hollywood any day of the week. Until the next one ... take care & keep looking up.
hopefully someone watching your video can help with a block for the tractor and enable you to finish the repair. Very frustrating when these things happen. Really enjoy your videos though.
If it were mine, at this point, I would probably go through the trouble of pulling and cleaning the block, trying to find and fix the crack or hole before giving up on the block.
Since you live in Kansas Farm country I am sure there is a local. Mom n Pop machine shop old grey headed guy that can make any part you need. Those places are treasures. Looks like you have found one such place
