Does the hair grow back thicker? I’ve been shaving my face for 5 years and the hair has never grown back thicker. The thickness of your hair is determined by your hormones. Sometimes when the hair grows back after shaving, it may appear thicker because the hair was bluntly cut. Just like when you get your hair trimmed and the ends seem thicker, even though they didn’t really get thicker. Also not the same thing as professional dermaplaning. Is face shaving for everyone? No. Nothing in beauty is for literally everyone. If you grow a lot of thick hair, have sensitive skin, have active acne, face shaving may not be the best idea. However I personally have seen soo many benefits from it like helping my skincare penetrate better. I purchased these products myself. Hi, I wanted to ask if your face gets red, fragile and a little irritated after shaving it. No matter what product I shave with this keeps happening to me😭
So true, love the fact that you said it's not for everyone, as all skincare isn't for everyone. Putting that out there makes a huge difference. There's so many saying that whatever they do everyone else must do. Thanks for the great info!❤
so true, my mother use razor to shaved her facial hair for years and the facial hair grew kinda blonde and no thick hair, she use the type of razor that man usually use because she said that kind of razor is easier to use😆
Hair growing thicker if you shave it is a myth. When you shave hair on your legs, which is thicker than the ones on your face, you might feel like its growing back thicker, but it really isn't. It only seems like it's growing thicker because when you shave them and they grow back, the tips, which is thinner than the bottom part of the hair has been cut off, and the blunt bits are showing on your skin, which gives it a thicker looking feel.
Hi everyone dropping this comment for all the girlies out there, my skin is acne prone skin and i was scared to use facial razor on my face , but my dermatologist suggested me that this is the only better option you can opt for, as facial waxing makes your skin loose+ you’ll have some burns after that, threading on your cheeks or parts which are much sensitive will be the worst! But but dermaplanning can save your skin for real! I did it 2 days back touchwood i didnt get any scar and also thick hair depends on your hormones , if you have pcos/pcod they’ll obviously grow thicker but if you do not have that it’s alright, AND ALSO FACIAL HAIR ARE NORMALLLL!! But yes the beauty standards for girls are set too high but nvm? We can rock either way! So yayy! I hope this comment helps you.
Hey Sarah, I am extremely sorry for the harmful comment that I left on one of your shorts. I realize that my comment was rude and disrespectful towards you, and I will refrain from making comments like that ever again to anyone. I hope you can forgive me and I hope you have a good day.
Hey doll. It’s totally fine, don’t worry about it at all. I usually don’t pay attention to comments like that, I just sometimes don’t understand the point of them. But it says a lot about you to comment this afterwards, in a good way.. and thank you so much. Appreciate you ❤️❤️
She uses tretinoin (in my country has to be prescribed by a dermatologist as it’s very potent anti acne substance) + hydrating her skin and using effective products Drinking enough, clean sheets, healthy eating My only cause of pimples is when I’m stressed out, otherwise my skin looks similar to hers
@@salsadip7453 same, I only get like random little bumps on my forehead because of stress, at first I thought it happens because of pillowcase but after removing the case every 2 days, it didn't worked.
That's why I reuse my razor and before using I keep it in boiling hot soap water for 10 min and rinse it will cool water, because I don't want to use new razor after every couple of use, it's harmful for the environment! Imagine how much waste you are going to accumulate in a year or two!
Hi doll! Partially genetics, and then I stopped wearing water proof mascara, I stopped curling them, I wear makeup maybe once a week, I always use a cleaning oil if I have makeup so I’m never tugging on them, and for lash serum I use scorolash (it seems to be hit or miss for people but I like it because it’s hormone free).. since all of these things my lashes have become very healthy, with far less shedding
Mam ! I m much worried how to easily root up facial hair wevever i want...u r shaving so i want to ask, will shaving facial hair make them thick,or fat ,or will it cause more growth of facial hair bcz if shaving?
Thank you 🥺.. yes! I use retinol eye creams at night- right now I like the dr Dennis gross one.it has ferulic, which is so brightening for me too. I’m not prone to milia so often at night I use a thin layer of cere ve under my eyes to make sure I definitely don’t wake up with dry under eyes. In the am I use my entire skincare routine under my eyes too. (Vitamin c, dark spot serum, hydrating toners) it’s a short video called, estheticians am skincare Also lymphatic drainage and guasha helps with puffy eyes. Products with caffine also help with puffiness and making me looks more awake 🤍
No not like this. I’ve have thick black hair naturally of course, but I often get told in person that they look fake now and it’s definitely because I’ve been using lash serums for years.. Lilash is my favorite right now. It’s hormone free .. it’s an investment but I feel it just worked so fast on me .. I also take nutrafol and msm so they may have affected my lashes too
heyy, I love your reels & videos. They’re super informative. Could you tell me how many times a week you use tretinoin in your skincare routine? & what %? and do you take gaps between your shaving session & tretinoin? if yes then how long is the gap? cus, shaving is already a form of exfoliation & if we apply tretinoin after 1-2 days of shaving wouldn’t it cause purging?
Hi! So I actually don’t experience irritation or purging with my tret anymore so I just don’t use tret the day I’m shaving my face, and resume the next day. If you’re still getting used to tret I’d skip a day or two after shaving your face too. I use tret everyday, besides the nights I shave my face, or if my skin is compromised for some reason like the cold weather. I use .05 Thank you so much darling ❤️❤️
@@SarahSaleen hey there! So I have a question to add to that.. is there a particular reason why you skip your tret on nights that you shave? Or do you just feel like your skin is best when you do it like that? Because I didn’t realize that you shouldn’t shave on days that you use tret, and I have been doing it (shaving) every week since I started on it almost 7 months ago, with no issues. If I don’t have any issues, should I still consider not using it on days I shave? Thanks you beautiful!!💕🌸✨
Hiii! 🤍🤍I like to thread any thick hairs (that’s what I always do first) But yes Any thick hair I would remove properly from the root so you don’t see the darkness from from the hair underneath the skin 🤍
If you’re face is bumpy all over because of acne, I’d avoid it because face shaving can spread bacteria. But If I just have a little pimple, I go around it
Try these products called the ordinary they have products you can use and it shows in description what all of them are for and which ones to take separately and together
I think this was the medicube cica masks. They are the best. They have a very light weight calming cica serum that I love for sensitive and acne prone skin.
Hi I have a question. I’m kinda curious if you can get the strawberry leg affect on your face too after shaving it. It happened to my legs and so now I’m a bit hesitant on whether to shave my face. Thank you.
Depends on your hair. If you grow thick hair on your face I wouldn’t shave your face because then you’re more likely to get that affect. Face shaving works best with peach fuzz
Sarah love your videos❤❤❤❤ I have been shaving my upper lip for past 1 year N I have noticed my upper lip area is slightly green 😢😢 like greenish shade What to dooo What to dooo ???
Hi doll this can happen when hair is a bit darker especially at the upper lip. basically hair that is below the surface of your skin. I prefer to thread certain areas of my face where the hair underneath can be more noticeable, like my upper lip.
I’m sorry that happened girl! Skin type, skin sensitivity, technique, products used can all play a part in results. It’s definitely not something for everyone.
Hey! Um I’m 14 and I want to start shaving 😅 does anyone have a facial oil to recommend and also could I shave my upper lip hair with the facial razor or do I have to thread it? I have kinda dry skin for reference and I don’t really have acne except some occasional breakouts around the hair by my ear and 1 or two pimples that could pop up. Idk if that matters for the type of facial oil I need 😅
@@SarahSaleen No I am not talking about cold cream for makeup remove ,generally some ppl use cleanser when they wash their face before applying sunscreen , so instead of cleanser I use pond's face wash 🧼 , 🤌🌷🌷
I’ve never shaved with aloe but I know it can be a shaving cream alternative, if you have acne I would avoid going over those areas. You could also shave a little area and see how that goes first
Not in the same routine as face shaving.. I may do an exfoliating mask once a week, or a light peel, or use exfoliating cleansers as needed throughout the week for exfoliation.
On this channel only because you are the first woman I have seen who literally nails off that moisturizer look ....like whatever kind of oil based product you use, for some reason it looks really pretty on you. Maybe it's your magic skincare.
