As a brown teenage girl who feels really lost when it comes to feminine hygiene and is extremely uncomfortable talking about girl stuff with her mother, I absolutely adore content creators like you. I honestly have no words to express how grateful I am that girls like you are out there helping out other girls like me- I just love it.❤
For anyone wondering, there are different types of probiotic bacteria that target different body parts. Some are for digestion, some for weight loss, and some for vaginal health. If you're looking for a probiotic supplement to support and improve vaginal health, you need to buy one that contains Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1 and Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14 - i think these two bacteria are the only ones that support vaginal health. :)
@@gabbyidk5428 i love you too. nah jk haha. its something i would have appreciated knowing when i was shopping for probiotics so i thought i would share. If you're gonna make a video educating your viewers you better be thorough and detailed otherwise you're just making a half assed video (this applies to a lot of youtubers)
Love these tips, even as a 30 year old I feel like I'm still learning so much about feminine hygine. I will say, while going to a hospital is important, clinics like Planned Parenthood offer incredible care for affordable prices if you don't have insurance or can't afford insurance.
@@kaaviyap.s you were not being a conspiracy theorist when talking about cheap sanitary products; phthalates. Its a chemical used to make plastic durable AND used in majority of pads. THE WORST PART IS IT EFFECTS FERTILITY AND HEALTH.
as a brown girlie as well , I feel you with the hair removal and honestly you putting videos out like this with so many people looking up to you is amazing.
The hot water tip is the most helpful tip! When i was in high school before winter formal, i used to have an exercise routine and after it i would drink ice water after it.I did this for about 1 week and i noticed even after a week of exercise, my stomach didn't look toned at all! I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that it was because of water weight and that hot water would be the solution.I drank hot water for a week to see and yes it did work! Not only did i look toned but i didn't look puffy and i lost a lot of water weight.
Lmao “all the Indian aunties gonna call…” 😂 Girl idk why this topic was so tabu when I was growing up in my Indian home and as I’m older, I learned stuff by watching other women posting these videos 😔 Thank you for posting! ❤
Great tips! I love the unscented dove bar soap for everything on my body for sensitive skin. I love seeing women supporting other women on their journeys💞But I'm lucky enough to have a female figure to show me what to do to take care of myself. Stress is also a huge one! Less stress=better functioning body in my experience. Thanks for making this girl.
Gurllll thank you for talking about this! This is literally the big sis talk I've never had while growing up, so yeah, love you and more power to you xoxoxoxo!
Please wash/bidet yourselves everytime you go to the bathroom. Then wipe dry. It helps you against so much issues with itching, Ph imbalance issues, infections etc You will smell fresh You just need a disposable bottle when you head to public loos. Sanitise seats before you sit down
It all boils down to wash your kitty daily in between cracks and crevices. Also, stop letting men run up in you raw they’re messing up your ph balance.
I actually read online somewhere some time ago that your body does not like cold water and hot water + warm foods keep your insides 'happy'. And that cold water disrupts your insides or something like that. Butttt i don't think i'll make the switch to drinking hot water 😅 i just don't like it it feels wrong in some weird way.
You mentioned not shaving your pubic or underarm area if you have dark skin, but do you suggest shaving your legs if you have dark skin? Or waxing or using Nair on your legs?
I use Kotex pads,.they're just cotton fabric with no gels, unscented. They're expensive, but I've been using them for about 7 months and I forgot what it's like to have 7 day bleeding with cramps.
What are your thoughts on using the brand Nair hair removal (the kind specifically for the private area or bikini line) for down there? Since I'm a dark-skinned woman, and you suggest us not shaving down there, what are your thoughts?
I’m 15 and my body hair is crazy. I shave my entire body besides my armpits because I pluck the hairs (cause of melanin staining my skin). I have no clue how to shave down there properly if it’s not using a razor 🥲
Hiiiiii, So I have been watching your videos and they have really helped me. I am a 16 year old teenager and i shaved my face using a facial razor but the hair kinda feel pokey. i dont know what i did wrong tho and would really appreciate some help.
I just dont use tampons or pads.period. If you attune yourself to listen to your bodies signs you dont need them. Once you learn how to feel your flow, you can train your body to catch it and go to the bathroom.
Try exfoliating these areas more often - I love the body scrub from sol de & the one from Youth to The People! When you get out of the shower, apply an unscented vitamin c and e to the oil and do a one minute massage on all the affected areas. We need to find the cause of the ingowns as well - working on prevention as well! I talked about hyperpigmentation in my shower routine video!
Not everybody can use menstrual cups. For example in my case, it iritates my „entry“ area so much, I didn’t like the process of inserting it and taking it out was painful. It traumatized me. I can’t stand them. I am using pads or menstrual underwear as much as possible and organic tampons.
@@marialeon7197 Oh nooo that sucks :( I’ve had the worst experiences with tampons so that’s why I made the switch. Just recommending for anyone that hasn’t tried it, as for the majority I’ve seen they do really enjoy them. Obviously use what works best for you!
