On the housing shortage thing, how come nobody from either party is surfacing the impact of US laws that allow for the real estate market to be a money underling operation for criminals from around the world. How big an impact that is on runaway housing costs has not come to consensus yet but it's clear that it is significant. Why neither side crowing about all the good stuff they're going to to do ameliorate? Do they not plan to do so? Can Journalism drive that question to the degree that politicians are shying away?

Somebody needs to look at allowing people to put tiny home communities in different states as well as looking at the rules for getting a house .you cant tell me I can rent an apartment for $2,300 a month but I can't afford a home!! that sounds pretty stupid to me. The Democratic and Republican conventions exist to highlight the candidate that is being qualified to run for the presidency and vice presidency. It was never intended to be a platform for any specific group to voice their concerns and make a point. It was never intended to be that. So I think either candidate, and either the Democrat or Republican convention should not have guest speakers through protesting and advocating for their causes. The intent is to get to know the candidate better and what they stand for. I think it’s wrong to give a person a platform on national television to speak about a heartfelt topic at a convention.

I know ur really bummed that Dem voters aren’t divided and nearly all Dem voters r thrilled that Biden stepped aside and no other Dem politicians challenged Harris for the nomination.
