Your work is excellent.. I lost my beloved Dr. Scott Spear ( Head of Reconstructive surgery at Georgetown University Hospital ) and I think you may be my best new Dr.
Dear Dr. Joe Niamtu, after having seen quite a lot of videos of you as well as of other plastic surgeons, so far you are the only plastic surgeon I can imagine of having a face lift when I feel my time has come. First of all you are passionate about what your doing and you are doing an incredible great job as your results show! Second I like your positive and warm personality, I'd guess your heart is at the right place as we Germans would say. Hopefully you are willing to have patients from over seas. ? Thanks a lot for your informative and inspiring videos! 😊Lots of Greetings from Germany!😊 Mrs Frenz
Thanks for the kind words and yes, we see many international patients. I will have the honor of speaking in Munich next September. Keep in touch. Dr. Joe
I've watched this video three times. I'll be having my neck lift, surgery on Nov. 26th, 2019 and i want to be well informed when going back to speak to my surgeon before it is performed. It's definitely a good idea to have your questions ready and see before & after photos of the work your surgeon has performed. I wear my hair up most of the time because it is so thin.....so, I need to know that he will camouflage my incisions just like you do. A lot of money will be spent and I don't want to be devastated because if a bad outcome. So, from the bottom of my heart...."Thank-You, Dr. Niamtu for your wonderful teachings💕"
Hi Dr. Niamtu! I have been watching lots of your videos. You’re very skilled and a talented doctor. I’m saving money to go to see you for a lower facelift hopefully by next summer. I’m a 48 year old asian, I think I can benefit from a lower facelift but not on my neck I think it’s fine now. I’ll be sending photos to your office soon from Seattle!
Great information. The pictures show you know what your doing. Good to hear what you say about healing from these cuts. I am so impressed. Wondering if brow lift is a popular surgery and how those cuts would heal up.
What suture line? Beautiful job. Love watching your surgeries any of them. So informative and thank you for sharing. I watched every video you had out there before i decide to get any kind of injections for my face. I knew where i wanted what how much and used more than one product definitely. Uplift low lift i forget its on my receipt. I asked for the one you used and got them. I was lucky.
Hi Dr. Joe! What is the best for forehead augmentation? Fat transfer or Silicone implant? What is your view about Silicone Implant augmentation? Thanks in advance!! 😊
OMG! I need you in my life! I am 50 years young near 51 this Halloween day. Lose 140 pounds 5 years ago and my neck face and even eyes need your beautiful job done!!! Please sent me more information and prices. I could sent you pictures or even FaceTime with you. Thank you and God bless you and your hands!! Awesome facelifts
Hello Doctor.. I'm writing from Denver Colorado I'm seriously thinking about going there ..Your work is absolutely amazing.. The scars are barely noticeable.. I have a couple of questions one of my question is do I need a facelift to do the turkey neck loose skin? And when you have people come from different states how long do you require them to stay in Virginia after surgery? Do you have a facility or place where patients can stay for a few days or week while they recover? Thank you Sir.
Thanks so much. 50% of our facelift patients are from out of town and we are set up to make it safe and easy. You would normally stay a week. Yes, you need a facelift to correct the turkey neck. Happy to look at pics info@lovethatface.com
Beautiful WORK! Is there anyone you recommend in the Los Angeles area or suburbs that is as particular as you are with your position of scars for face and neck lift. Thank You!
You are amazing. This video is amazing. This is exactly the information that I was looking for. I do not want a deformed tragus. I am from Australia and am looking into lower face and neck lift. Thankyou so much x
Dr. Niamtu, I know this video is over 2 years old and I'd like to know your impression regarding how many doctors are now 'transitioning' (sort of speak) to local anesthesia. The claim is that the recovery is way faster and less bruising and complications. Are you still doing these facelifts solely under general anesthesia or are you considering local anesthesia? Thanks for the feedback, love your videos and honesty in all of them.
Thanks for watching. If you took the top 500 busy facelift practices in the USA it would be rare to see them using local anesthesia for facelift surgery. Don't get me wrong, I have friends that do it, but in general, it is for smaller type lifts. To do the type of facelift that is comprehensive and has longevity, it would be difficult to do that with local. It would also take twice as long and have other drawbacks for comfort. I will never say "my way is the only way" but I can tell you that I would never want or do a comprehensive facelift with local. Almost any operation can be done with local anesthesia. You could do knee surgery, natural child birth, and thousands of other procedures. Most people choose IV or general anesthesia for good reasons. I have done over 1,300 safe and effective and comfortable facelifts with general anesthesia. I believe it to be the standard for this type of surgery. Thanks for watching. Dr. J
Question: If an incision up removes the sideburn, how are you able to to make an incision in the sideburn that doesn't remove any hair? If you can not remove any hair in the sideburn, why can't you also not remove any hair in the scalp area? Thanks
Hard to explain in a paragraph, but the sideburn incision follows the base of the sideburn as not to elevate it. Hair does not have to be removed in the back if you put the incision at the junction of hair and neck, but the scar can show. All doctors do it a little different and what I described has worked safely and naturally for me and my patients over 20 years and over 1,200 lifts. Thanks for watching.
Hello Doctor Niamtu, I am a 59 y.o male, no hair at all in my head just like you. That means I can not or should not have a facelift? please advice, thank you very much.
Out of over 1,000 lifts I have only done one on a bald guy and I have not seen him for follow up yet as he is out of town. I I was not personally bald, I would already have had one. I guess sooner or later when it bugs me enough I will have to grow out the sides a bit to try to hide scars. Thanks for watching.
Thanks doctor. Im 29 and have smooth tan skin but it heals terribly. Everything leaves permanent dark scars on my skin. From moskito bites to tiny cuts. Im looking for a facelift with the least amount of cuts and the smallest scars. Doctor....can we pull little individual areas instead of a big area at once?
I do need a facelift. I gained and lost weight quick and have stretch marks even cellulitis ...but my face is already saging. Im half asian and half syrian
Hello. I just had a neck/facelift 6 days ago. I was given an ointment with silver in it and it caused an infection. Will my scars be more visible. I was given a steroid shot to help. Also, is it normal to have pain seemingly in the ear that feels like an ear infection?
@@jniamtuiii Thank you for your response. I wish I had done more research before my procedure 3 years ago . I went to a reputable surgeon, but ended up with one blunted tragus and significant scarring on the same side. I traded one problem for several others.
Can u repair scarring from previous surgery? How do you know how good your doctor is if there are not a lot of pictures because of people not wanting to be put themselves out there publicly?
Patients not wanting a doctor to use pictures is uncommon, most patients will allow, or at least with upper face hidden. In my experience most docs with few pics, have few pics for a reason. Many patients get mad if you don't want to use their pics. So I don't go for that excuse. I have over 10,000 pictures of before and after, so obviously many people let you use them, but some don't for sure.
Any experienced surgeon should be able to show their work and have hundreds of cases. No doc can guarantee a perfect scar as there are outside factors that can influence healing, but experienced surgeons are usually pretty good at it. Never be afraid to ask any question to your prospective surgeon. Dr. Joe
I'm from The Netherlands, and I'm sure when it's time for my facelift I will go to you or someone else in the states who is good , because in Holland our plastic surgeons are really bad!
These scars are so minor I wouldn,t cARe. I just want the bagginess goNe. U can scar me across my cheekbones and under jaw. I really don,t care. Make up could cover those little scars. It is dumb those surgeons are that bad at it tho. Why don,t they get busted and stopped? Why isn,t disfiguring people who pay 10 thou for it against the law?
