I actually live 2 miles away from this cemetery. My grandpa is buried there, I usually visit him from time to time. I remember when he used to pick me and my brother up from elementary school and take us to a mall with an arcade in it. He’d give us quarters and we’d have a blast playing the games. I miss him, I hope he’s still watching over me today.
@@saraho9568 Telling cicadas and locusts apart can be a bit complicated, especially since the words are sometimes used interchangeably and the particularly buzzed-about type of cicada is alternately called a periodical cicada, a seventeen-year cicada, or a seventeen-year locust.
@@amythomas1124 I lived in Mo. almost my whole entire life. I moved out her to Oregon and lived 5 years before ever hearing about a 17 year locust, or cicada.

@@froot6086 of course not, I find it a peaceful way to unwind after a long day. I usually visit my sons grave and reflect, but documenting the beautfiul "forgotten" mounuments around my area would be a great reminder of how beautiful most of our cemeteries are.

My Mother, My Aunt & Uncle and 3 Cousins are buried here ❤ This cemetery is the 1st place I saw the photos on the headstones in the 80s. Nice of you to do this.
Love these videos. I think it's one of the nicest things you can do for anyone is continue to remember and think about the one whose past. This especially applies when you personally did not know them and you share a remembrance video with the rest of us. I'm sure they like being thought of and having their name read aloud. Love what you do.

You missed one..Randy Carver.he was a boxer that died from a head injury that he got during a match at Harrah's casino in Kansas City..he died a few days later after that..he didn't have a tombstone after he died cause his mom didn't want to face the fact that he was actually gone..his mom died 6 years ago and she lays bedside him now..they both have stones..
No he was high on pcp I worked at 7 eleven when this happened and he killed her behind the register area and robbed us it was so sad she was a wonderful lady RIP
You're right, it's sad. I know lawyers who told me that they can not wear red/blue shirts going to jail to see their clients, because it may be seen as a signal to gang members, and start a fight. Terrible.

Beautiful children of miss Wilson truly brought me back to memory lane of my grandmother and great grandmother Truly and Always planted flowers where are the rocks in the whole family glue that held everything together and truly speaking from the heart/soul💟🛐💟 my great grandmother when she retired and her son forced her than food to Maryland even though she wanted to stay on the family farm in Texas she planted thousands and thousands of flowers around the apartment complex and not too long just before my grandmother died she passed just before her both of them are forever in our hearts and souls which was definitely your mother was and always will be in your heart and soul it is truly your angel from above thank you for sharing that beautiful light of sunshine in beautifulness of truly have wonderful soul your mother was that truly touched my heart 💜 Soul completely and brought tears to my eyes and totally brought me back to those precious moments and memories with my beloved grandmother and great grandmother that would truly like my mothers your family is always looked it up in my continuous Ongoing and Thoughts and Prayers rest in peace Miss/mrs.Wilson 💟🛐💟🙏🏾

I don't think it's distasteful... And who are we to judge... I think you're thinking too deep about it... He could've been the family comedian on top on being a great father, son, uncle, etc... And that's the way they chose to represent him... Because he probably would've wanted it no other way... They (family) wanted to remember him for his humor... We didn't know him so it's not up to us to speculate why they did it... Probably brings the family peace, and they didn't want a sad memorial to remember him by... They wanted something a bit comical to help with their grief... I'm just saying, no disrespect to you... But think outside the box sometimes... It's not always that deep... 🤷✌️
