Pin point pain in the spine with walking and standing, and relief with sitting, is often caused by arthritis in the facet joint of the spine.
Start with stretches to help relieve the pain and follow those with strength to help support the spine. Stay tuned for a mobilization exercise towards the end to help with bending!

@drKristieEnnis I want to thank you for this stretches exercises! I definitely used them today! And the others from your playlist, I start using them at the beginning of my day. I do suffer back pain from my lower right side, like sharp small needles, it does alleviate some pain but not entirely. Thank you for your dedication and sweetness on the videos. I share them with my family.

Greetings from Sweden I had since spring these year had several pains from the hip to my back that has comed slowly, now i just randomly saw this video that seems to have some good excerise, will try them and see if they can realese me from that hip pains and make my days better :)

Please do a exercise video for relieve shoulder impingement issues...I have severe arm impingement for about a month. I believe I got it doing forward rolls and landing on my upper shoulder during martial class. Thanks

Dr Kristie, if you have a little time to answer me. Few days ago I had some cold air on my back and I froze with pain. Then it was very painful to stay up or sitting the only position ok was lying on the bed on the side where the pain was. Pain is waist line on one side near the spine. Can not do back flexion, but I did all the stretches you recommend give a little reliving. What do you think can be? Maybe the facet joint pain, hernia or the big muscle quadra..... lumbar ( I don't know in English the exact spelling) ???? I thank you for your answer! And thank you for your videos they are very helpful for a lot of people. Best regards.

You talking about facet pain in lumbar spine or t spine (in cervical spine this the most common cause neck pain .

How long can you lay there with your feet up? I found it felt so relaxing. I have been dealing with a lot of back pain just had an MRI done and I have this in multiple joints

Can we confuse this facet joint pain with hernia. I suffer from my back one side and I can not do flexion it's too painful, extension feels more better.
