+BaronVonGrumble I think your videos are fuckin hilarious. I've never read anything into them and you've entertained me no end. I found you on You Tube about 18 months ago and you had me in stitches. It was your commute into London that made me laugh cos I've had to do the same from North of London into town and there are so many Knobheads on the road and I was in total agreement with you. Would be nice if you popped in once a week again.
This is a brilliant break down of how the whole vlogging game works and how things have changed since the early days, I think in ways the old days had something that has been lost a bit now but by the audiences increaseing so much has allowed things to happen that would have never been possible back then! I totaly agree with you on all points! good work Tracy...I mean Baron!
Well done buddy - about time fella. I agree with what you said; in the end I face revealed for the same reason. It felt like not showing my face was holding me back. Onwards and upwards big guy - keep pushing!
The thing about BVG is that he's inspired many to not only get a camera for safety, but to document their lives too. Me included. He's a natural presenter, and it's great to see a genuine success story. Helmets off to the Baron 👌
It was time wasn't it, it had to be done for Barron's progression I think. Plus I'm pretty certain I won't ever unsubscribe so it makes no difference to me anyway, I love bikes and the cool trips he does, and he's pretty damn funny.
I'll be interested to see that the reaction is. I think the reason i followed him was because of the anonymous approach he took, it's what made him who he is today. Nobody knows who he is what he looks like just a voice, bikes and loads of fun... I'll still support and follow and enjoy it nonetheless!
Yeah I understand what ya mean I'm just talking about baron as an entirety his thing was anonymous now that's gone he needs to ensure he is now the best of the best not that he isn't but not to ever get comfortable lol
Watching this after 4 years it's great to see how far 44T has come. Love the channel and wish them all the best. I do miss some of those classic BVG rants, though lol.
The videos of you commuting are very entertaining. I enjoy them and you make me smile - which these days gets harder and harder. Since you no longer commute it is disappointing, however, you have peaked my interest in motorbikes and those who ride them. Thank you for that and for the smiles. Hope your life gets better and better.
Happy for you Baron, have been following for about 2 years, really enjoy your videos. As a Ducati guy and a motocross rider, I always look forward to your videos, and now also 44teeth. Keep it up!
+Andrew M I find people with stupidly high standards of what is 'rude' unbearable. It actually gives off a vibe of 'I'm better than you and I'll hate you regardless'. Being 'polite' has to do with social etiquette, not your interpretation of what etiquette should be. ;-) FYI, most animals who make eye contact do so due to attempts as a form of dominance. Ever seen dogs fight? Lots of staring takes place.
Eye contact is important for communication, and will always be,excluding the fact when you really need to keep them on,like in really bright sunny weather,at the beach etc.No matter what you say, wearing glasses in conditions where they are not needed ,is just an of act of douchebaggery when talking to people.
Love this. Baron is a smart and knowledgeable character and funny too. No wonder he's so successful with his vlogs. Face reveal! It's funny how some videos do really well, even when you wouldn't think so. Thumbnails definitely matter. Great vlogger advice too. Loved the commentary about controversial videos and having to deal with the fallout that ensues as well as stalkers. When I was hiding my face, people would point out little parts of the video where they could see me in a mirror or something, so I can relate here. A face reveal as BVonG mentioned really does open up a lot more possibilities. Good point too about shout-outs not being the path forward, though they can help if your content is good. Content is king and your audience will find you. Also, Baron does have one of the best voices in all of vlogging. I envy those pipes!
I live on the IOM, and only picked up on your channel after your video blogs popped up on my recommended list, I had been watching some TT footage, you have made me laugh , cry , and sympathise all in one night, while watching your vids, and as for the big reveal, I can understand 100%....but to 99.9% of us who subscribe to your channel, it wont make any difference, whenever you slip your helmet back on, and give us your humourous views on life, from a bikers point of view, you will still be our well loved "Happy go lucky , sizzle my shizzle, warm and friendly huggable lemsip Baron....god bless you..:-)
Cheers for all the laughs, tours and track days. Been a blast watching ya channel(s). Great insight into the weirdness that is motovlogging. Looking forward to future endeavours of BVG and 44 Teeth.
I really was expecting Robert Webb! Nice to put a face to your voice though. You and RJ were a big influence in me doing my bike test, love your videos and keep it up!
Nice interview guys, good to hear the opinions of one of the big guys honestly about the motovlogging community. I hope people respect your privacy more now you've done the face reveal.
Have subscribed to your videos since you had about 30,000 followers. I have never commented till now but would just like to say how insightful this video has been. I never was too bothered about your identity but purely enjoy your sense of humour and take on life. Keep up the good videos Baron or what ever we will be calling you in the future...
What I can't wait for now is who are we going to call you? And everything you said about vlogging and what it was and what it has become is sooo true. Respect mate.
+TheDonBro It's so weird seeing people I subscribe to commenting on videos of other people I subscribe to.. Though it's sort of close minded of me to think that nobody knows other people on YT
WHOA !!!! and there YOU are !!! What a surprise !!! Congratulations ! Great interview. Thank you for making such entertaining videos. Best Regards from Brooklyn, NY :-)
+Roberto De Maree Yes, Double Decker is a chocolate candy bar produced by Cadbury UK. BvG sometimes picks one up at petrol convenience stations in his vlogs. When in the vlog, he will hold the bar on camera and say "double bloody decker" as only he can.
happy have discovered your channel recently Baron, your videos are top notch and always fun, entertaining and engaging to watch. Found this channel via one of your videos where you mentioned it, so far it seems like great as well, wish you all the best!
So happy for you to be starting a new chapter in your online presence, I believe it will help you immensely in growing this channel and perhaps a career in the motorbike industry!
Baron seems like a great guy. I started watching soon after he started. I can say Baron's videos have helped me through depression. Convinced me to go buy another bike which has been one of the best decisions I've made. It has also brought me back to the motorcycle world and after "growing up" made me realize again just to enjoy life the way you see fit. Thanks BaronVonGrumble and I'm loving 44Teeth's content. You guys are doing something remarkable even if you don't see that yet.
Really good, enjoyed the honest commentary on your journey with the channel. And it's been surprisingly engaging fun going along on the journey as an audience member.
Finally the man, the myth .... the beard .... er ..... the hoodie.... er ..... the stickers covering the holes in the walls :) Nicely done squire. Makes sense doing the face reveal now you're no longer working in town (as well as for 44teeth etc). I'd be curious to know how it affects your subscriber/watch time for future vids now the (chiffon) veil has been lifted. Laters bluuuurd :) Weem
Great stuff, you're obviously a very personable chap and actually seeing your fizz only adds to that....not in any gay way of course (not that there's anything wrong with being gay, not that you are, and I'm not implying you are, and it's fine if you are by the way) - let's not overdo it though, I personally found your face didn't really fit with the voice (Robert Webb and you obviously have identical vocal chords) and my brain is struggling to fit his voice with a less ugly face...oh crikey, now I sound gay...I'm not though (not that it. Would be a problem of course if I were). Anyway whatever, I don't fancy you but did enjoy seeing your face - nice one (the video, not your face).....hope being recognised off the bike doesn't become an issue for you!!! All the best and may your success continue!
+TheMissendenFlyer This comment requires an explanation through the medium of video at the very least, and maybe we'll get to that tour of the garage ;)
+Tris Desnos ...I fear that may only make things worse, I certainly don't want to upset any gay viewers of mine or any other channel and I fear I've already buggered things up (oops, there I go again!!!...no offence intended).....
I loved this. This exactly is how I feel about "Vlogging" and "Vloggers" It's nice to see who I have been listening to ranting in his helmet for years now! Just keep bringing the same, great content and I will be a viewer. Thank you, "Baron"
So you mean that baron portrait with the moustache wasn't you all this time?! I feel deceived... But I respect your decision and it seems like the right thing to do, it's good to put a face to a beautiful voice!
+Premises187 I just feel sorry for you buddy - eating those sausages at Loomies through your Shark Raw must have been a pain at the Spicy Sausage Fest. {;o).
Great Video , never had any complaints rather enjoy the openness of the vlogs and your life that you share...Keep It Up, I wanted a 899 you were the first video that popped up and loved what I heard and subsided then came here also...So thanks
Love the health secretary snipe boys! Totally agree, it's all about the content. Picking up my first bike in the morning and am so excited I can't sleep! Thanks for the continued inspiration
Great interview! Baron for me: Good and funny bike content with a bloody epic voice. Seeing your face didn't change anything for me. Keep on going! (I know the reveal wasn't easy at all but you looked so relaxed and calm. :) )
Hope you guys see this. Been watching 44Teeth vids for a while and found some old stuff. Specifically Baron's longer video talking about what was going on with is life at the time, ie separation, etc. Just a thank you for what you guys do. Really love your content.
***** You're not a real subscriber unless you're willing to fly to another country, track down a man's work, get the IP address and then show up at his company (Dead Pixels) and get escorted out by security guards. That's just my opinion. Some may not agree.
Dude, you are probably the best vlogger on the net. Well spoken, ( long live the queen) funny, and down to earth. I love the 44 teeth stuff too. I rate your content better that any of the US based guys. I dont own a cam yet but i find myself talking to myself in my helmet on my to and from work!! Keep it coming man!
I do enjoy the vids you make. They make me laugh. Some i don't like but overall very good. I have just started watching barron and it makes me appreciate all sorts of things.
Important video and nicely done. I think you'll continue to grow your success and it will be weird remembering back to when people didn't know what you looked like.
So interesting to see the face with the voice. Really great interview too guys. This opens more video opportunities for both of you to interview people or Baron can do the interviewing instead of always being behind the camera. I'm looking forward to seeing what 2016 brings for you guys! Best of luck
