@@ravenknight6363 Eh I don't see it because in the other animation they claim to be making a Utopia, that means they view themselves as heroes at least to some extent. Most anti-heroes believe they are doing right by doing wrong but they usually don't grandstand on it because they know the actions they take to get those results are no moral. Plus just going to put it out there. Just about every despot in history has proclaimed they are trying to make a paradise so Purge really does fit the classification for villains.

You know what would fix this issue, is a symbol on each character's chest that represents them. Either that, or a much more complicated answer: Clothes. Although, maybe if the hammer guy kept his hammer for the whole fight it'd be easier to tell using that alone haha. Really, it's the fact that so many of them are various similar shades of blue.

Dylan A agree overall though I'd like to add that the 2v2 segment and the storytelling really helped this one out. Though the alter ego showing up in the other one was pretty sweet. Respect to both works but on board with this one being superior

Yeah, but I'd like to clarify that the one who made the character Dithrium has a habit of making his fights very Anime-ish, Hanif has a habit of making facial features like that, and the one who made Sayo has a habit of making is character overpowered, and that's the reason it's very Anime-ish, just throwing it out there. It should be noted that splitting up the animating to 3 people and coordinating all of their work is a very hard task in itself compared to doing the whole thing by yourself. But yes, it's also very hard for Bryo as well

Mherca98 Ah very fair point. Hhmmm. Still a tough call for me. I think it still goes to Purge,by a sliver rather than a notable margin, given your point on the better competitiveness of the submission. I think the emphasis on power usage in Purges submission was what drew me, though the detail in Perthros is great. Especially when the blades spin.

Purge also put more into the storytelling aspect though. With Pertho you just have it flash to them fighting after giving vague introductions. There is no explanation as to how purge caught up and why pertho waited or why pertho did not just flee. Also you get a snip more of the world in purge victory with the towns and the hint of a sequel with purge actually having a purpose to fulfill.
