I feel like this actually fits decaying worlds theme too, What i like most about this song is that the song doesnt have too many audio loops in it, it always ends up having a very different section within 20 seconds
god this will be amazing. if you can bring in companions during faction wars imagine hiring LITERALLY EVERY FACTION to kill the enemy team. that would be the real war
The idea of fighting with the raiders could come to life in the decaying winter world, because the raiders have strict warnings about being aggravated, but will mostly not care as long as you don't break these rules. In conclusion, this would make fighting with the raiders possible because they aren't necessarily aggresive so you could hang out with them if they're out scavenging. that would be a cool game mechanic.
Considering the raiders only really attack you if you get close to their castle, yeah they are not necessarily hostile and more like "neutral". Won't attack you unless you trigger a condition that turns them hostile against you.
This is an incredibly powerful remix of the scav war theme and you can pick out places of the original tune but Kill has definitely made a song all of his own.
Man this reminds me so much of STALKERS Clear Sky combat theme, Much similar to of course the “Scav War” the music definitely fits with the vibe. Drums and all it slams 🔥
Having raiders teamed up with scavs and us against other factions seems like a great idea like everyone banding together to take on a massive threat so they don't die kinda like a the enemy of my enemy is my friend situation (could also be like a reputation system if this is not going to be the same as decaying winter)
I really hope and also think will be nothing like DW. DW's still being updated somewhat by EDEN-227, so a full remaster of the game made by a single madlad isnt a necessary or sane thing to do. I'm feelig more hyped for a Roblox game than any other AAA title... or any game at all, for that matter.
You know what would be cool? If you were in a Scav area, it would start playing 'stealth music', but once you get detected it starts playing 'control', and then 'anticipation' will kick in, meaning reinforcements are en route. Then comes 'assault' when the reinforcements arrive. Payday music.
Then I think in that aspect there should be stealth mechanics (like stealth takedowns, outsmarting scavs etc.), also would be hard and cool if all guns in this game had attachments that you can put on your gun and most of the suppressors arent will be 100% silent (but this is just my wishes, and sorry if I have some mistakes in my sentence, my english is not very good)
Now I'm really hoping it comes to console, this game looks like the developers really care about quality, not how quickly they can make it. Massive props to the team making Decaying World
i love the guitar, and how it fits with the raiders, in my opinion, the raiders are the most badass faction in decaying winter, like, they're got operator skills and scary, i love it
I feel like this song gives out a much different vibe than the original, it doesn’t give you the feeling of battle tendencies but rather, readying up for what to come and be ready to fight even if it means dying is obligated.
The worst part about getting 4 morale in decaying worlds isnt because you have 4 morale.. its because you had to witness 4 probably npcs that aided you within your journey then get killed 1 by 1 (its like witnessing your bestfriend die compared to some random guy hold a grenade without the pin for 6 seconds) and imagine if they add a reikgon hound npc you could recruit

Hot *DAMN*, depending on how the gameplay will be while this thing plays, it might honestly just fucking warp me onto the planet with how fucking into it I'll get. I'm gonna be honest for a moment: If you don't fall into the trap of making things fancier than you can afford to make them, or pull a bethesda, this game is going to be *pretty* damn good when it comes out. Good work, as someone who likes games with quality mechanics, you've got my seal of approval so far.

Holy smokes its amazing. I have to make a fan made entrances on how to start this im sorry😂 Raiders: befriend the mcx gaurding the door. You will then join their group as a scout raider level. Sq and others Will still kill you if you are too close Castle fighter: get this level from killing 10 rogue scavs. You will be given privilege to talk to others and be able to try and befriend some. However sq isnt impressed yet so she wont hesitate to murder you, if you go against her at this rank Castle executioner: kill 20 scavs and fully befriend the mcx raider and get on a positive reputation of ALL raiders. Doing so will allow you to talk to sq while not getting her aggro. You also now can take a few beans and ulaycola BUT you have to pay it back with extra. Unless you can withstand a bit of bad reputation from EVER raider. Just a little Raider Soldier: get this rank from killing 50 scavs and 10 ak74 scavs. While having a max positive relation with atleast 3 raiders. Sq will give you the arbiter knuckleboom as a reward.. NOTE getting to raider soldier will immediately make relations with all scavs terrible Castle Agent: you have to kill 70 scavs in total and give the castle 10 beans and 8 colas. Or 4 Mres and 2 waters. You will be given the privilege of doing whatever you want and even killing raiders that Sq dislikes or the entire castle has a negative opinion on total against.. also you now have the agent wrist thing and a free mcx and riot shield. The relations with every other faction will plummet to 0 Castle king: kill 200 scavs and save the raiders against the war. You will be given as many rations as you want that the castle has and tac armor a raider buff and the perk that allows you to spawn 4 random melee raiders or 2 mcx raiders or 1 HMG raider to protect you. You are given the decimator and your knuckleboom will ALWAYS longshot if you press F anytime during the animation Sledge king: sq must be dead for this to happen. If so you will earn the title sledge king instead of castle king. You are allowed to do whatever you want in the castle and even call out ALL raiders for a siege. How to start the war: get a insanely bad reputation against any faction while on the raiders side. If the war happens your goal is to NOT let sq die or the castle fully sieged. Depending on your title will be your defenses and squad. Scout will not give you a team Fighter will give you 9 melee raiders Executioner will bring out door gunners and 19 melee raiders at your side Soldier will give you 4 mcx raiders at cover and 10 mcx raiders can spawn in total. 2 will spawn every minute 20 melee raiders and 16 car door raiders. You also now have one of the snipers on your side that works similar to ilija in holdout Castle agents will be 30 melee 20 car door raiders 16 mcx and 2 snipers while you also have a modded akm Castle king will give you 50 melee raiders and 25 car doors 10 mcx and 1 HMG raider to assist. If you are SUPER urgent at the 2nd last defense line you can call out Sq for backup and she will have a chance to assist you in the fight. REMEMBER if she dies its over so its your last attempt if you are too desperate Sledge king: 100 of any raiders. And the objective changed where if YOU die its game over for the faction First line of defense: thumbnail Second line of defense: inside the castle doors but not too far Third line: nearing Sq bunker. Snipers will spawn no matter your title at this line Fourth line: outside of sq bunker. unlimited raiders spawn with a lengthy cooldown (you can still spawn your raiders) Fifth and final line: sq bunker. SQ will fight the enemies herself (or you if you are the SK)
How is this cringe? The idea is amazing but i can tell this will be a lot of scripting and AI work so i don't think it will be that good knowing that tactical guy is making decaying world almost alone.
Enemy spawns here cause its beginning to lag. Scavs: 3 waves with shirose and yosef as bosses Reikgon: 1 wave. All in at once Death squad: 6 waves. Death squad comes at 4 and zealot at the end of 6 E.r.u 2 waves. First wave is a swarm of enemies and second has no normal units. Only elites and the boss A.g.e.n.t.s 5 waves. Normal enemies at 3 but anything beyond that can have a drifter agent. A berserker. Or blitzer. Wave 5 has 5 Elite agents with 3 random abilities (tickspider artillerist blitzer drifter riskrunner arbiter) Medieval: 3 waves. First wave is only the emperor units the second is commander. The third is a mix of them. The emperor and commander spawns at the start of wave 3
m249 raider lets goo! (idea) whenever you get to close to it, he throws a kick which works like a grapple but the kick launches them down. Voice line ideas.. 1% of happening "YOUR GOING AGAINST THE WALL AND IM THE WALL", payday otherswise the other voicelines could be "YOU CAME TO THE WRONG TOWER" "WHY DONT YOU GO TO THE FANDOMS AND CRY". Anyways, The idea of faction wars are very good.
Im undertale fan and after i hear the beat parts it make me thoughts "Wait..? WHY this guitar and main melody seems familiar oh ye this is same as STRIFE ON THE STYX?!"
What I like about this theme is that, unlike the Scavs, their theme sounds hopeful, or something like that, like if the raiders brings Order instead of Chaos like the Scavengers. Their theme is shineful, more positive (in a way) and more justice-ish than the scavs one. Really fits with them
