it's like this version of Scav War theme evokes the sense that we didn't exactly win the Scav War but rather we relied on luck to make it through. I'm hyped for this fangame and the process is amazing keep up the good work
0:29 I like to imagine that the entire game just goes silent at this part until the drop in which the scavs start firing their weapons regardless, indicating their sheer amount and how you *will not* survive.
I like the kind of mood this gives in the void compared to the Zym`s version. Og remix gave feeling of battle that you dont even consider sizes of, despite being an epic showdown. This has a feel like a whole endless legion is approaching with no possible good outcome in sight.
@@Alpharius216 I'm pretty sure that based on the fact we are supposed to play as a novice (nicknamed "white shirts"), I'm fairly certain we'll just basically be a survivalist. Or maybe I'm wrong, who knows.

Watching the progress of Decaying World makes me want to continue working on an old roblox project i kinda stopped working on years ago. The project was essentially also a scifi themed defense game where you protect a mining colony from space pirates.

Concept: if the map is open with no walls you should make the Scavs arrive on vehicles such as motorcycles, trucks, or even Humvees depending on the wave. you should also probably work on updating the death animations because they don't look similar to DW's animations that much. Question: are their possibly gonna be any new enemies wanted by the agency or enemy Reikgon that will appear randomly? EDITED Concepts: also make sure to add a bomb system so when an agent tries to enter a scav vehicle it will trigger a sensor that’s attached to a bomb. So the car explodes. heavily injuring or killing the agent in the process Item Concept: Anti-Vehicle mines are new explosive trap. They are found around the map and they deal heavy explosion damage when a vehicle comes in contact with an armed mine The Rocket Launcher is a blueprint weapon that costs 250 scrap and deals deadly Area damage that one shots most scav vehicles. Rocket ammo is very rare to come by and is not as common as regular gun ammo
Very nice! Has this feeling of time running out, but i think somewhere around 3:30 it's missing the sense of... despair and urgency(?) the original had.
With multiple people working to make this game a reality, I'd say the development is taking just as much, if not more effort than the original game. Keep it up, fellow stalker/agent. The decaying world will see the light one day.
I’d like to think that if you have bad rep with the scav factions any base that you hide in for the storm ( that is a faction base ) will be raided by scavs. Just a funny little guess
just an idea but, maybe scav war can be a random type of event? like "scav war has begun, ammo is plentiful" meaning lots of gun scavs or something else idk also pan man funni easter egg
This sounds like a track that would play after unlocking a secret wave where it is similar to scav war but much harder and other types of enemies. Like hidden.
this song has the same energy of the original while sounding a bit more like the ultrakill sountrack (i have a different banger to listen to other than tenebre rosso sangue now)
