Can't get enough timelapse? I made another one. This time in a snow biome and 3 player coop. Check it out-> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PoX3BvreWdI.html
I only have one goal in Factorio, *W A R* . I have truly embraced Erich Ludendorff’s idea of Totale Krieg. Every building, every factory, every research and every mod I install is dedicated to only one thing: W A R with the Bitters.
@@dannyzero692 I have only one goal in Factorio, T R A I N S. I have truly embraced the idea of my local Tram operator. Totale Transport. Every building, every factory, every research and every mod I install is dedicated to only one thing. Train with the Tracks. I like trains.
The reason the base is so compact is because he's making so little of everything. A quick glance shows that he made only 6-8 green chip assemblers, which is much less than you normally see. So yeah, the base is compact, but keep in mind that he took 70 hours to finish the game. He could easily have finished it in 10-15 hours if he had just built more automation.
@@crazedt1 I'll go back to Factorio when I have time to write a video for it! That way I'll have a natural stopping point instead of getting addicted.. I hope.
like the stuttgart 21, the berlin airport or the technological backwardness of volkswagen? lol. it's funny though that the new tesla factory in berlin will be done way faster than the snail german authorities can even react
@@John...44... First off that hasn’t got anything to do with the comment and makes no sense. And secondly do you know anything about the world wars other than propaganda? The Germans fought against literally the whole world two times for 4 and 6 whole years uninterrupted, I’d like to see another country do the same thing especially one like Germany being in the center of Europe
@Scotty Ahh yes, one of the most prosperous and progressive nations in the world is losing every irl strategy game. Also, legit question. How are you subbed to Shaun and steven crowder? They're like exact opposites.
Reminds me of playing without monsters and infinite resources. It was really fun. Eventually turned it into even more fun by having multiple trains going up and down a dual track, and having a main station for them to refuel.
Wonderful video, very impressive setup. Would be nice if you could do a tutorial series to pass your great skill on to newer players, as god as anything I have seen so far. Pete
what skills ?? Hes doing uber small factory it take him 70 hours to fire one rocked.... his train system is NON EXISTENT so what the fuck you talk about ?
There are too many tutorials for factorio already. It's hard to know which one to watch and each of them reccomend slightly, if not very, different things. the beauty of factorio, or at least part of it, is that you can come up with a system that works for you.
@@TheGUARDIANOFFOR believes there can only be one perspective and that's his. This is why he is spending so much energy shitting on someone else's comment because he can't believe that someone doesn't hold the same opinion as himself. Clearly under 15 years old or lives in a bubble.
My world looks so weird since it's still the first world I've started with and i just have to destroy and rebuild a lot of things, got a lot to learn Abt this game till my bases look this perfect. Nice vid, keep it up!
and whit that last shoot we realize how small we are in this plain of existance. Even if he has conquer the desert there is infinity space all around him
I can’t figure out why I’m the only dumb that still can’t setup a good factory properly without having tunnels conveyor everywhere (After 2 years of playing) 😆
you're not alone but who would upload videos and screenshots of their spaghetti monster base? I evolved a bit throughout my first complete playthrough but I had to basically abandon my first base and rebuild everything as structured as I could, I used 2x4 iron and 2x4 copper bus for it to vaguely work still wasn't enough throughput to get anywhere really fast took me about 140 hours to launch my first rocket too but I have like at least 20 to 40 hours of either not really knowing how or where I should expand, fixing my bad layouts, wasting time manually hauling ressources I forgot or fighting and dying to the aliens I really consider playing without aliens next time I really don't enjoy the fighting too much and it's more annoying to deal with than anything
And i'm still sitting here, editing my angel-bob blueprints xD Today i managed to get a perfect early burner ore crusher setup. My previous one was a tiny half-automatic diamond shape without any calculations involved, just 4 together and later doubled to get 1 full grey in. But that way only 7.5/8 burner ore crushers would be useful anyways. So this build was half-automatic, ineffective, costly and already bigger than a chunk (34x17). So my new design doesn't just fit into that chunk again (28x22), it also needs 30% less copper and 10% less iron per ore crusher involved and it is fully automatic, upgradable and scalable, because it has coal outputs top and left. It also contains 15 crushers thus can handle 2 full greys. The fun part about it was to get around the underground belt restriction of 2 (instead of the regular 4). It is possible though, but it involved a lot more nitpicking with those belt-sides.
Hi! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me how you got the camera to move and zoom during the video? I want to make a timelapse, and I know how to make the actual timelapse using a script that takes screenshots, but I have no idea how to make the camera move around to focus on different places you're building. Any help is appreciated!
Is railworld a lot harder than the normal game? The factory design in this video seems way better than in my one and only run that I have beat the game on, but it took him far, far longer to launch the rocket. Also I love the little german typo in the description.
Railworlds aren't much harder. They take me about 20 hours to complete usually. But obviously this guy likes to make things neat and beautiful and takes his time.
Railworld isn't inherently harder at all. With straight unmodified settings, I would say railword is actually easier than default because enemy expansion is set to off. Beyond the fact that railworld biters won't put up new bases, the only really big consideration is that resource patches are bigger but further apart so you're simply not going to get by without building a train system.
bro do you stream? I just got into factorio and I wanna make base like yours it's goddamn beautiful I wanna learn step by step and your thought process when making base
Did you run power lines out to the remote mining stations, or did you use steam turbines at the remote locations, and use fluid trains to deliver high-temperature steam to them?
It's interesting to see your playstyle being so different from mine. I mostly learned from KatherineOfSky so I utilize a "bus" with all the resources running down and branch off assembly machines off to the side.
I'm at 18 hours and I've just managed to get one train running back and forth. I've got 7 labs that are constantly running out of materials and the whole base is a mess of conveyor belts. I don't know how you stayed so organised.
