A weekend at Cadwell Park for Suzuki Live, where the original Budget Bike Battle SRAD bursts back to life and Fagan gets the chance to swing his leg over a proper factory SRAD Thanks to everyone who made this possible x
Fantastic in helmet footage there, great solution to the camera van on circuit. This is what it should be like for F1 cars, not the horrendous one they currently have.
hallelujah the SRAD is back, yes mate the blue screen is a bit G.. another bbb srad zx7r !! we all enjoyed the old back times!! keep with the good work. hug from portugal
Onboard footage @5:40> that’s me in front with the white SRAD and Fluro leathers. It shows how easy it is to get held up at Cadwell. Your bike looked ace. Love the Vid 👍
Great vid. I did a carb dynojet job on one of these. Hard work, but was really worth effort. Super smooth throttle pick up and it made 131 at the wheel. If I remember correctly I got the main jets in the ball park and then the needle position was the icing on the cake. I tried about 5 mains and 3 needle positions. I didn't have the use of a dyno (until I was done), so that increased the time it took as I had to ride it each time.
@@_Archambaud Thank you mate , I am absolutely gutted I missed Suzuki LIVE, I was filming at Croft circuit at no limits racing plus myGSXR needed some TLC and it's now having that at TBR performance . Will definitely be there next year
This bike feels like a part of 44teeth history its been places no other bikes have seen and also been in garages no other bikes seen ! Is an animal and absolutely love the insta 360 helemt cam!
That brings back memories, I had a 98 bike, first of the fuel injected gixxers, fantastic handling bike and bulletproof engine, I wish that I hadn't sold it now.
I will never how any sportsbike aficionado can listen to a V4 on any bike and compare it to an inline 4 such as on GSXR-750 and conclude that the V sounds even close to the inline from an aural pleasure and inducement of bliss standpoint
So many memories of when superbikes were so amazing and every manufacturer were turning out race reps . Loved this shows that decent bikes are still very capable in the modern day world 👍
Lovely bike! I had one back in the day, geared it down at the back and full race titanium Akra system. It was a beast and front reached for the sky just on the throttle. I still see the odd one at trackdays these days. Awesome video👍🏻
Commenting from the U S. Love 44 teeth. You are Causing me to regret selling my 96 750 SRAD. Just love that factory bike to pieces and your 750 seems to be damn near beautiful, but, that god awful blue windscreen is as you Brits seem to be fond of saying is letting the side down. Keep doing what you are doing with the channel its fantastic. Cheers from an Oregon fan. GSXRs and sportsbikes forever.
"Watching the 44Teeth team's experience with the Suzuki SRAD was truly exhilarating! Despite initial challenges, seeing how the bike performed after meticulous modifications was impressive. The way it handled the track and the upgrades in suspension and engine performance were remarkable. Thanks for sharing such an inspiring journey! Looking forward to more exciting adventures ahead. Best of luck!"
Nice to see you, us 2 lads had a little chat with you while you went to get it noise tested in the paddock. Nobody was there lol. Just so everybody knows.. he really, REALLY hates that blue screen! ha! Keep up the good work. Love watching the content!
I have a ‘98 SRAD the same as Mikes.. I can confirm the engine is a peach.. Even today she’s an awesome bike to ride! It’s criminally underrated…everyone should own an SRAD 🔥🤙🏽
That was great , I had one of these last of the carbs new and was blown away with an indicated 185mph on the clocks and endless wheelies it reminded me of a motor cross 😂 but it would high speed corner on rails but long bouts flat out would make my arms numb for days 😀
Love it. Can you in the future include your suspension and pressure tweaks? We are all bike nerds here. And I for one would like to hear what changes you do and why
Great vid. A very enjoyable & interesting watch. Love a GSXR750 & had a new K6 back in the day. It was undoubtedly the best bike I've owned. Desperate for Suzuki to make a new one or at least update the current US version & bring it back to Europe. I'd buy one in a second but almost certainly never going to happen sadly. : (
I'd love to sympathise with you over the blue screen, but I'm still trying to get over double deniming to the pub a few years ago. Small village's never forget!
Cadwell is amazing, theres not a flat bit anywhere, you're always going uphill or downhill, the beauty of a circuit built in a valley. and its so steep, even going round you don,t realise how steep it is until you walk it, on the tv park straight looks almost flat, it isn't. its a shame they put the dodgy chicane in which is actually more dangerous than before, because its such a poor chicane. but still the rest of the circuit hasn't changed since the 1960s besides demolishing the barn at barn corner and the house after the hairpin, they were right up against the edge of the track with no run off at all, they used to open the barn doors for racing so if there was a crash there was some run off inside the barn itself. Its often known as the Mini Nurburgring for a reason, its epic. Look on youtube for videos of Josh Brookes in bsb going over the mountain.
Back in the day, at the age of 22, I owned a GSXR1100, first model that came with upside down forks. I love the twin round headlights and other such styling on bikes of that era, since then I'm not so keen on what Suzuki have done with the GSXR.
I loved the hell out of the Performance Bikes magazine. Such a shame they're no longer around. Britain has a cracking good motorcycling journalism community and it deserves to live on despite the EU's ever worsening strangling, economic downturns and green haired climate activists.
Cadwell is a mad track did my 1st ever track day there in 97 on my srad and binned it 😂 then years later progressed to road racing with NG ROAD RACING in 2008 and high sided at Mansfield and did my collar bone and hip and went on holiday 3 days later in a wheelchair 😂, so i like cadwell but it dont like me, keep up the good vids.
had that custom light blue luckystrike them on my k8 r600 with full headers and shorty pipe which was literally a 20cm stainless steel chode that had no sound dampening qualities stg, sounded like an F1 machine and homies living on high rise apartments could hear me pass by from miles away hahahahah good ol days
