well to be fair it was one of the very first isekai that started the genre. and as for the tropes, often times they are forced on the author(s) because thats what works and sells. the LN/WN and manga markets in JP are cut throat they will axe your work for a single percentage drop in views etc. its what happened to bleach. even the big three arent safe from the market. and its unfortunately lead to a copy paste in some aspects of MCs

The Vision of Escaflowne (1993), Magic Knight Rayearth (1994), Inuyasha (1996), Digimon (1999), and Spirited Away (2001) are all consider isekai. Sword Art Online (2002) and The Familiar of Zero (2004) where considered the second wave. Familiar of Zero created Narō novels which laid the groundwork for Mushoku Tensei (2012). (And also the people who worked on Familiar of Zero also wrote Re:Zero.) Also, some people would even consider works like Alice in Wonderland (1865), The Wonderful World of Oz (1900), Peter Pan (1904), and the Chronicles of Narnia (1950) to be apart of the genre as well. Even something like the Divine Comedy is isekai as well. The genre has been around for a while now. It’s just gotten a more clearly defined label in recent years with anime. The genre is a subsection of fantasy/fiction and all that needs to happen is “person(s) need to go from one world to another”. Those kind of stories have been around forever it’s just that people tend to only think of modern stories, mainly being created in Asia, to be the only representatives of the “new” genre.

If the rudeus that we know isn't isekai'd to the mushoku tensei world, the body of rudeus should have been dead. So, in the original timeline, zenith is supposed to have a miscarriage when birthing rudeus because his body has the laplace factor. That's why rudeus has a mana pool comparable to the demon god laplace. But, the soul of the japanese dude who got isekai'd entered the body of rudeus. Orsted himself said that paul is supposed to only have 2 daughters, because in every timeline, rudeus never survived during his birth.

Orsted stated in LN Vol. 15 that Paul never had a son, most likely due to the laplace factor the first baby was born with. That factor was apparently so powerful that the soul of a newborn couldn't handle it, hence why he was always a still born. The laplace factor enables it's possesor to grow their own mana pool at a incredible rate and up to a enormous level. While Rudeus was struggling when he started to learn magic by himself, while he was still 2 1/2 years old, he realised quickly that he could grow his pool, increasing the amount of spells he could use every day. Usually having a mana pool that large is unheard of. Kishirika discovered that was in fact larger than the one laplace held and she met him in a past life, so she should know. As a demon/dragon hybrid laplace had all the physical advantages there are in the world of MT. There were no unique spells he wouldn't be able to use, besides maybe some of the sea and sky folk, which were mostly left out in the main story or only mentioned on the side. The fact that Rudeus' mana pool was larger than the literal magic god ( or demon god, ranked 4th on the list of seven great powers ) even though Rudeus was just a 10-11 year old human, led her to believe that he had a twin brother/sister which died in the womb, leaving behind it's own mana pool which might have been absorbed by Rudeus. Atleast that was Kishirika's theory. I believe that Kishirika didn't know that people could be born with a laplace factor, so that was the only way she could explain it to herself, that a human boy had such a waste amount of mana stored inside him.
