The 2014 Nissan Sentra S is stuck in 1st gear and gear will not change to a higher one. The current code is P2859, which is Clutch A Pressure (Clutch A Pressure Disengagement Performance). The mileage on the car is about 76k miles. The car is out of warranty. This video shows the removal of the CVT oil pan.

Just so I know I heard correctly...the bolts with a 7, Circle and Dot hold the valve body to the transmission?

No. I have a 2013 Sentra. The 7 with a circle held valve up.

Can u tell me if this is the same code as P285A Clutch B pressure disengagement performance? I’m having this issue with my car and I have no idea how to fix it.

I have a 2010 nissan rogue cvt level is good but 80% of the time when shifting from P to R or D it shifts pretty hard, any idea if a bad valve body could be the culprit? (Mounts are good)

Can the valve body be bad and not throw out an error code?

When you say “I soaked the solenoids in carb cleaner” do you mean just the tips or the whole solenoid?

"Just the tip" is what I tell my girl sometimes but I end up soaking my 'whole solenoid' anyway... youknowhatimsayin?

So for a filters do u recommend me to buy it directly from dealer or can I get it from eBay cause It’s cheaper then dealer and it’s big difference???
