It's true! A village can have more than one idiot.

They are scammers! They know by going to the show and suing each other They would get money from the show not from each other. The judge was smart in making them pay the rent directly to the landlord. The judge knew what they were scheming.

So the landlord gave them 90 days notice because the tenants kept getting fines for not parking in the wrong place. The litigants were so mortified that their own actions caused them to be evicted, they didn't pay rent for 4 months. And now, the Plaintiff wants over 5k for rent she probably didn't pay herself? Both of these women deserve each other. The only person that got screwed was their landlords. No pictures, no bank documents, no proof. Frustrating.

These are the least prepared litigants EVER.

I wouldn’t have given her NOTHING! What proof did she provide? There was no proof that she even owed the Landlord. That scammer just got People’s Court to pay her $1700 which she probably turned around and split with her “best friend”.

I retired after 30 years of customer service..... because if I have to deal with people like this, I want to get paid on the same level as judges, lawyers, etc. Dealing with idiots takes incredible patience.

Both tried to scam the judge , it worked a little bit . Judge Judy wouldn't give them a dime 👌 .

The defendant didn't seem to understand why the judge said "I get nervous thinking about them crossing the street." Her nonchalant look said it all!

I find it hilarious that the plaintiff is so mad that the defendant didn't pay rent in December and January that she is suing but doesn't see a problem stiffing a landlord for 4 months. Harvey always asks the outside audience who is worse, landlords or tenants. There are so bad landlords but for every one of those there are dozens and dozens of bad tenants.

I think the defendant was more truthful than the plaintiff. Everytime she mentioned something about paying for stuff and didn't have proof, the smirk the plaintiff would give made me think defendant was telling the truth.

Birds of a feather... In high school, I always thought my parents were too dramatic for judging a couple of my friends too harshly. Looking back, those friends *were* a bit "unsavory characters."
