The first one comes from Wilson Douglas . Where does the second one come from? First part is very close to Morpeth Rant/Hornpipe, second part is a bit different. Nice playing in any case.

Thanks Jim. The second version comes from Bobby Taylor, who says he heard Wilson Douglas playing the tune and it reminded him of another tune (the title of which I forget) from Bob Walters. So he worked out a version of the tune that blended the two tunes, which was recorded by Adam Hurt and Jarred Nutter on Adam's album Insight in 2006,

@@sarkin44 I have been playing and listening to lots of Missouri fiddlers lately. I wonder which one.

@@jgarber235 Huh? The tune that Bobby Taylor (WV fiddler) associated with Wilson Douglas's tune was from Bob Walters (as I said in my reply) and, while he's a Missouri Valley fiddler, he was actually from Nebraska.

@@sarkin44 He is probably the most transcribed fiddler in Christenson books so I lump him as Missouri. Let's just say midwestern.
