Fairlight Secan 6-month update - new wheels, bars and cranks 

Loving these Secan updates - would have preferred to hear more about how you're finding the bike though and less about what new parts you've fitted to it. Great video though - keep them coming!

Gravel bikes are growing on me, love the idea you can inter changed components etc. Nice one

One of the most attractive steel bikes I've seen (I appreciate the overall geometry, as well as thin chain stays & seat stays, the flat top tube). The one thing I'm not a fan of - is the external cabling. Another steel bike I like quite a bit - is the Rodeo Labs Flaanimal.

Those tyres are awesome and probably very comfortable on most gravel roads, i use 32mm

Gorgeous bike mate. I love the way it sits (if that makes sense). Top tube not too sloped for example and straight seat stays for a semi traditional look. Just looks tough. Yes to the Gum walls but also should try black sidewalls, just to see. Next time a nice set drops in the office throw them on for a look and let us see in the next update. There will be more won’t there?

Thanks for the video - just caught up with this. Looking for a new bike either the open wi.de or the pecan. I want to do a lot of travelling with the bike and am worries about taking the open carbon frame through the airport (repeatedly) and it is twice the price

Can u do a mini series when u brake down buying a frame,fork, wheel, and tire piece by piece to save money/ get what u want

Flared bars are a little better if you use a bar bag

How much was the frameset, and what sort of weight is it? Love the bike by the way 👌 thinking this could be an option for me in the future.
