I've trained and fought in Thailand for years. Thai pros and 5 year-old kids use these exact gloves. These gloves are the best Muay Thai gloves ever! 🥊
Great review as always. I hate mesh palm with a passion. To me, they are just a way for company to cheap out on leather to make more money and create a big weak point with their gloves that will rip or get destroyed before the leather part. I haven't really feel the difference between mesh palm or leather palm to warrant the weak point on the gloves.
Did your bgv9 have a rough nylon inside? Almost like the material shriveled and hardened? I just got a pair and the inside is so different from the Bgv1,bgv19 and bgv26 that I have already
Hello bro, i have a pair of boxing 14 oz leone gloves but now i am training muay thai in phuket. I am 187 cm and 100 kg what oz should i buy and should i get fairtex or Yokkao?
I think I'm going with Fairtex. Twins is hard to come by right now, and they no longer have the hot pink color 😭😭😭 my Twins are really old n the foam began disintegrating
I just realize this is 2022, and it's time for the best ---- for 2022, and I'm excited to see that coming, since you have been doing so much reviews on a lot of new stuff. Love your contents, keep it up bud.
After trying both these and bgv16 I think the bgv16 is far superior especially for smaller hands. The length of my hand is 7inches. Bgv16 fits perfectly when opening palm and it’s out of place with bgv1. Also much more knuckle protection and compact padding with a grip bar
I have the These Gloves in 14 oz and I find the position of thumb a little odd. The hand compartment is really roomy. The padding is good for bag and mitts but not really for sparring. There are better option for only sparring.
I'm a muay thai guy looking to upgrade from the basic gloves they sold at my gym. I'm debating between the bgv1 or the hayabusa h5. Fairtex makes gloves specifically for muay thai so I guess they'll be better for everything specific to muay thai, but the H5 is interesting for me because I heard they protect the knuckles better and I do a lot of heavy bags and I sweat A LOT and heard good things about Hayabusa breathability. I'm still a beginner so I don't do much sparring as of right now, mostly heavy bags and drills, but I'm definitely looking forward to sparring so a all around gloves wouldn't be a bad idea. It seems you can't go wrong with either gloves but I have a hard time deciding between the two.
Hayabusa are protective but they hurt your partner in sparring and its too protective to where you wont feel much feedback 😢 good wrist support tho but not a fan of hayabusa
Thanks for the upload, I bought these exact gloves (10oz) a few months ago here in Thailand, and I love them, especially in this heat! Great for padwork, bag and I also do light sparring (altho I’m def more a Muay khao kind of style :p)
That was my first boxing gloves bought slightly used 10 years ago. Can you please review another Thai gloves Boon? I've heard that it has "Mexican feel" its knuckle.
Hi bro, Im looking for some small gloves for sparring, I need 14oz but like I said I want a slim model so I can get used to how to attack and defend with smaller gloves (in competition I fight with 10oz) those are way smaller then the normal training gloves Have you got any suggestions?
Hey Carlo great review man! I saw multiple reviews critizing the padding in this glove for being too soft but I trust your judgment. These are on my wish list. I have a pair of gloves from danger equipment, they're made of microfiber synthetic, I want to upgrade to real leather 👍
