I've had my fairtex bgv1's for over a year now training in them almost everyday and they are still holding up strong, I highly recommend buying these gloves. 💪

You are definetly right with the knuckle protection. I was using Kings and Twins and switched to Fairtex because its more bang for the buck in Germany. Now my knuckles are hurting. I devolped more punching power because I was training a lot recently, but nevertheless, the differnce is noticable.

Can you spar with these or is there too little padding ?

Excellent review. Answered all my questions. How would you compare these to sanabul battle forged Thai gloves? Especially in terms of thumb placement and the knuckle protection

Bgv16 are better in my opinion especially for smaller hands. More compact padding and knuckle protection with a grip bar

Hey man do you think these would be better than winners gloves for Muay Thai?

Winning glvoes are the best out there for anything in my opinion mate! But they've got the price to match. fairtex are increible gloves if you dont wanna spend the money on Winning

Seconds Out Fight Store hey bro what makes winning the best gloves for Muay Thai?
@kv8999
@kv8999 3 года назад
@@cordneyellis442 Just get the Fairtex if you do muay thai. Winning gloves have no palm protection for blocking knees and kicks. Don't fall for the name brand hype.

Are they real leather it claims they are on mine but are they? Also do you recommend i get some mod price range everlast gloves for sparring ? Or use these?
@SecondsOutFightStore
@SecondsOutFightStore 4 года назад
Will Cárdenas The BGV1 model is made from leather, Fairtex also do other variations of this glove BGV9, 13 etc. And some of those are made from artificial leather. But the quality of the artificial leather is excellent. But for this model islets proper leather

yeh, exact same glove. fairtex gloves are smaller in size vs most other gloves so like a 12oz often doesnt look like a 12oz!

It's a good glove for sparring? Because some people says no, is awful for spar.

What do U guys think: For normal training (without sparring), I should buy Fairtex bgv 1, or Twins Special bgvl 3 (both 12 OZ) ? I have a normal hand, but long fingers. So what do you say ? Thanks a lot for the hint !
@scp-mz9ur
@scp-mz9ur 3 года назад
Can't speak on the difference between the two gloves, but as someone who neglected sparring for the first year and a half or so of their Muay Thai training, I can certainly say that if you you really want to improve and be able to apply what you're doing on pads, you need to spar. Its intimidating at first, but you learn so much from it. If you're scared about training with anybody else, ask your coach to do a few rounds with you and explain so.

@@jacoblynx7494 I know I may sound like a condescending dick head that's trying to give you life advice you dont think you need right now, but I'm just trying to help. Typically you arent really allowed to spar as a beginner because they get jumpy and hit harder than they mean to, and whenever they hit someone hard they want to hit them hard back, and it becomes a whole unproductive mess where people learn nothing and just get injured. However it will soon become one of the most enjoyable and one of the most informative part of your training program. If you buy anything under 16 oz now, you'll just have to invest in another set of 16s when you'll be able to start sparring (probably 5/6 or so months of training). 14s are too hard and will hurt your partner if you arent very very careful, and even in the beginning stages, you havent necessarily developed that full control yet (give it 1 or 2 days on open mat).
