I have tiny hands and found that my hands slid around inside the gloves due to the large compartment. Ended up buying the Hayabusa H5s due to how small that glove compartment is. The stink is real with the BGV14 though (even when I cleaned it after every session)! Thanks for the review!
Hello mate i need gloves for everything , sparing , bag , can you tell me how much bigger is that 16oz than this 14oz is that a big difference or what? Becouse some gloves 12oz looks like some 16oz so visual how that 14oz fairtex looks like bigger than usualy , i have 90kg, thanks
Bot much to say about this gloves. The are just perfect. Comfortable, nice protection, nice padding, the last very long, leather pretty solid, insane stitching, you get more than you pay for. I have them about 6 years and the look like brand you.only the leather got dirty cause i got them in white color.
I’m thinking about getting a new pair of gloves after 3 years of training with my Fairtex BGV1.. which one do you recommend more ? Fairtex BGV14 or Venum Impact ?
I've tried many many brand and models and these have the best fit for my hands of them all. The padding is special like you said but in the end last a really long time. And to your point about sizing, I have medium hand and the 14 oz fit me perfectly and my friend who is 6'4" got the 16 oz and fit perfectly for him. I've had mine for 4 years soon and they are still going strong. Very good values with these in my opinion!
@@juhlian4255 to be honest, not great lol. That's probably their main flaw. It's not the worst I had though but if it's an issue for you, you might not like them. Personally it doesn't bother me but they do get pretty hot.
Hello carlo i found some interesting gloves that I personally think would make for a good review, its ok if not im just throwing it out there but they’re the TITLE Inferno Elastic Training Gloves. As always thanks for the reviews i love watching them💪🏽
Hi, are These Good for standard boxing bag work? Is the wrist support enough good or better the BGV 11? Rival gloves are too expensive here in EU. Cheers
Yo guyz, just want advices : i’m about to buy new gloves but i hesitate between HAYABUSA T3 LX and RIVAL sparring RS1 2.0, which one should i get ? 🤙🏽🤙🏽
thanks you for your great review, i have followed you to buy so many boxing gloves, but here i have a question. Do you really recommend Thai boxing glove in boxing sport? they looks like specifically design for Thai boxing.
Depends on the model. For example, fairtex made a few models that are specifically made for western boxing like bgl7 and bgv9. I use them myself (bgl7) and let me tell you they are really greaat, they protect my hands really well, but these gloves really need time to break in and they will end up bring really comfortable.
Bought the painter version of these recently, don’t get the same pop off them as real leather gloves but i use them for sparring and leather ringside for pads. These are super soft with great wrist padding for blocking kicks love them
@csquaredboxing thanks. After a long Google search, I can't find anything like that. Can you let me know where I could find it please. Great content by the way, fairly new to boxing, and your channel has the best product reviews out there!!
How is the hand compartment compared to the BGV9s? When I bought a pair of 16 oz BGV9s, they fight way too tight, even without hand wraps. Do these have a roomier hand space?
I don't know how big your hands are. I initially bought the BGV9s and they were quite stiff. I ended up returning them and I got the BGV14s. They are way more comfortable and feel broken in. The actual padding of the glove is a lot softer. This being said if your hands are a lot bigger than mine then idk if these will be good for you. I bought 16oz and my hands are pretty average for a guy.
I’ve bought 5 different pairs of gloves and the inside compartment ALWAYS is so tight, I’m 6’0 230lb and just have naturally larger hands and trying to wrap my hands and stick it in a boxing glove has been a nightmare. Ironically some freaking 38$ 16oz Titlest Bag gloves have been the best so far in terms of fitting; the quality of the material and stitching was atrocious though only last about 8 months. I’ve tried the haybusa sparring 12oz (way to tight), Some Reyes (14oz) still tight, competitive title boxing 12oz gloves (the tightest of them all), and I just really need a glove that is 12oz for competing that isn’t going to cramp my hand and make me squeeze it in. I had to resort to filling a plastic bag with rocks and placing it inside the gloves and banging them around so I could get the padding to break down a little to be able to fit in my competition gloves.
