4:31 I told my daughter, "Don't try to fit IN, the goal is to fit OUT." Meaning, not trying to be like everyone else but at the same time not being so different that you get labeled the weird kid. Trying to find common ground where possible but not losing any sleep trying to prove that you belong.
😢❤Everyone is doing it, and everyone is already doing it...What shall we say to these things? The urgency, compassion and admonition of God in this message is so intense and almost tangible. This message got me as usual as I thought that I was free from the phrase not knowing that I was actually in the other spectrum of everybody is already doing it, and thereby disqualifying myself from my known true potential. I found solace in being set apart. I no longer feel left out about certain mundane common habits. I am learning to lean onto God for every single step I take. "Those who kneel down in adoration and prayer to God will stand tall in any storm" Pope Francis.
As always your timing is just another sign that God hears prayers. I used to be on social media and was even thinking about making a career out of it then I became addicted to the online gratification and consumed by it so stepped back after starting my walk with the Lord. Lately I’ve been receiving the call to go back since I was really good at it and enjoyed it, but I’m not gonna lie I’m scared it means going back to my old ways and abandoning the Lord now that he helped me find peace. Also I’ve been telling myself I haven’t been on Instagram and Tiktok for 3 years there’s no way I can get back, just plain self sabotage. And just after spending the weekend in doubts and confusion I watch this video and I know God sent this message through you for a reason. I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for voicing all this and helping me better get to know the Lord and his ways. Thank you so much and may God continue to bless you ❤

This video came at the right time, I was editing my CV because I want to apply for this post I got and it says it has only two posts for next year. In my head I was like, but there are many people who are applying, what's the point (like u said; BUT EVERYONE IS DOING IT) and by that I was disqualifying myself without giving God a chance to proof himself. I am writing a book he told me to write, i am trusting to relocate with faith like you have, he told me i will have a podcast and i have a business that he told me to resign and start. It truly is such an amazing bible book!! It’s the only book in the bible that actually never mentions God specifically. So fascinating! It teaches us that even God is at work in everything. Even when we might not realise it. Coincidences are never just that, they’re God’s hand at work 🥰
This message was truth, “blessed are the feet that bring good news” so blessed by god through your channel. It is so true I’ve been down that slippery slope of trying what everyone was doing and it’s so crazy how you said they become a Slave to it and those first few nights bad stuff happened. But God showed me how he was trying to intervene but I was rebellious. I know it broke his heart but he made a way to reveal him self stronger and really refined me. It’s so sad what the younger generation walks through if they don’t have the right guide speaking to them. God was really pressing why it’s importable to be his hands and feet. To be that light to share his love, through the Holy Spirit. I’ve been disobedient and having much spiritual warfare, because I can’t see a way. He wants me to trust him and I’ve been opening asking him for help in my honest prayers. I’ve never read the book of Esther but I love how you said to not disqualify myself and giving god a chance to prove himself. allow your self to see God’s favor over your life. I’ve been stuck to not making no move and the dreams he’s put on my heart, I don’t want to miss out the adventure he has for me. He is a fun and adventures god, his burden is light and his yoke is easy, please pray for me. Still no job but I’ve been still, almost faithless, I need prayer’ and his holy spirited and a willing heart to surrender. I need to move in faith, I’m tired of feeling stuck. How can I be this way, after he has shown himself faithful? -.-

Seriously it’s crazy the similar experiences we all have. I went through years of saying “everybody does it” and asking him to show me my gift since it definitely can’t be what I knew it was. And God truly never gave up on me and he showed me his own awesomeness and how creative he his, and God’s creativity is infinite, so therefore we are all unique and have something to offer. He has helped me to achieve much more than I could imagine once I finally accepted it and started taking steps by his grace and I’m still on that journey. Never too late to start! Thanks, Deborah,. I have also found that statement as justification to do worldly flesh things. Thanks for preaching about it. As you said, someone can use it to express fear in starting something; God calls you to get involved. So, yeah, those are real practical life issues you are raising. The other one I find absurd is, " Don't judge me." That is when you try to reprimand someone to examine whatever they might be doing wrong with their life.

Deborah, I am so furious & upset from time to time about things ppl keep saying about me. They say those things KNOWING it’ll upset & annoy me and it’s clear that they want to see me upset - they want to ridicule me for being upset as well. Not only does the things from the past get to me but new scars keep coming up. The worst thing is that they’re not even my enemies or friends, they’re literally ppl who I barely know & there are SO MANY of them not just one or two. I try my best to calm down, forgive & have empathy on those people yet I’m struggling. It includes words from even my own mother. I mean if my life was perfect otherwise, I’d be way more forgiving yet how dare they do that to me when I’m already in an abyss myself. I’m so confused, sad, irritated, frustrated, angry, shameful about myself, etc. having extreme thoughts of ending life everyday. I just want to stop hurting yet it seems as if even God isn’t on my side. What do I do. I know I shouldn’t be angry yet this is affecting me so so much, more so because I’m already struggling with something else serious. I’m afraid to go out or interact with others, present myself as I wish, and not only that but I am afraid to wake up everyday cuz it feels like stepping on eggshells trying not to feel horrifyingly depressed and stuck. This is horrible, wishing it was a dream. Does God even listen to my angers and my sorrow? Ppl make such a fuss about nothing, it’s like they’re deliberately trying to make life harder for me. I feel like a monster. And those ppl include not only complete strangers but also my family, friends, ppl in church, etc. I just feel like shutting down and never waking up again, but I know hell is on the other side of that and hence am breathing everyday though it doesn’t feel real.
Yess !! Thank you sis. It took me so long to start my commercial cleaning company. I thought of so many reasons why I shouldn’t do it. But I knew in my heart the Lord was telling me to go for it. Awesome Faith Talks topic Deborah! Peer pressure is very real and sometimes overwhelming. So to avoid standing alone for the right thing, standing in a crowd is safe. Even if what they're doing is against what God expects them to do. That's why the more people do what is right and trust in God and realize they are not alone, prayerfully, others will be encouraged to do what God is pleased with. This was a very timely message for me! For some reason lately (especially today) I have been having those questions of “is it worth it to continue on this narrow path” and “am I missing out?” Growing up I was very shy and didn’t want to do the “wrong” thing so avoided a lot of risky behaviors like partying, drinking, etc. Now as an 24 yr old adult I have more confidence in myself but have also found that this has been used to tempt me to engage in things outside of God’s will, and just feeling this sense of time “running out” so to speak. I am thankful for this reminder that worldly things lead to destruction and ultimately God is the one who provides for our needs, fulfills and quenches our desires, and to keep an eternal perspective. 🤍
1 Peter 1:16 says "Be Holy as I am Holy" and Holy means to be set apart. We are called to be set apart. It's hard though at times, sometimes the hardest for me is when I feel left out around professing Christians who don't live it out.

This is particularly speaking to me because I have been a victim of falling into the traps of that phrase mostly to disqualify myself from some things and pursuing what prolly I should have done along time ago and the whole time watching this I was like so what if I just like where would i be if I'd followed that passion in writing and podcasfing. for the past few weeks/months i have been hesitating to start a christian youtube channel. i am hesitating because i'm 17, i am a born again christian, so i have a lot of knowledge about the bible but imo not enough to say anything big. i still didn't finish the bible so i might say something that isn't right and i didn't go to chruch yet because i want to build my relationship with God first and i want to finish the bible before i learned something that isn't right. (oh and english isn't my first language) it is not that i want to teach anything (yet) but more to have a conversation about Yahweh, us, talking about things we struggle with, how to handle certain situations or giving eachother advice. i feel pretty alone as a christian and sometimes i feel stuck or as if i don't have a life anymore because i gave my life to christ. and i know that many people feel the same way as i do. so that's why i want to start the channel. i thought yesterday to pray about it but i forgot but now God said through you that it is okey to start it so thank you Deborah!
