I like how he wants u to read what he teaches, some people don't read they just accept the preachers words. He's sound doctrine, and wants people to read. Ty for sharing.

A dead body is still a body Likewise dead faith is still faith Just dead. It's not alive, it's not fruitful, but it's still faith. Praise the lord! Salvation is free

Amen! The false teachers will always go to James and cherry pick verses out context to support their false theological positions of faith +works for salvation/justification. Like Yankee Arnold says this is faith+works for services and discipleship which is exactly what the book of James is referring to.

@@2Chronicles714_ What James chapter 2 is talking about is Faith that is not exercised in the service of others is dead faith. It’s like muscle atrophy. If you don’t exercise the muscle then it becomes of no use to you. @@2Chronicles714_ Why do you need to show evidence to God that your faith is real? He can already see your heart whether you believe or not, and if you do believe, the Holy Spirit is given as a guarantee the moment you put your trust in Jesus Christ. Did you even listen to the sermon? John 15 proves the preachers point. Did you even read Romans chapters 3,4,5,6,7,8, Ephesians chapters 1,2? Galatians 1,2,3,4,5? The whole book of John? Salvation is by faith alone, and by definition eternal life cannot be lost.

Hey Matt, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Please let me know your thoughts about it... The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.* We were never under the first Covenant. Hebrews 9:15 ...For Christ died to set *THEM* free from the penalty of the sins *THEY had committed UNDER THAT FIRST COVENANT.* We did not commit sins under that first Covenant. Also...Jesus said... He was *ONLY* sent to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. That is not us. Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I WAS SENT ONLY TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL."* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. Also... Paul said... *Jesus was sent TO REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW.* Galatians 4:4-5 4But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, *BORN UNDER THE LAW, 5SO THAT HE MIGHT REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW...* We were never under the law. The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. That would only be Israel. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...* We were never under a Covenant. This is fantastic news for us. God's love, mercy and grace is much greater than we ever thought possible. I believe the Parable of the lost sheep is a picture of God's love for ALL people ever created. The house of Isreal represents the one lost sheep. They were the ONLY ONES that needed to be redeemed from the curse under the first Covenant. *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant. Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.* Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the *LORD WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.* *We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!* Never has been and never will be! Praise the Lord! *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news! Praise the Lord! Salvation By Grace the devil is a lie every time he tries to make me doubt my salvation I quickly ask Jesus to take it away. I look to him for clarity

He tries to get me to think I have to repent everytime I sin. For I know I will fall short but thank god Jesus is there to catch me when I fall for I know I can not make it on my own. I know my flesh is weak. It's hard without Jesus

Salvation By Grace Thank you I will check into this and yes it can be very confusing at times like I know I can't stop doing bad things on my own the flesh is very weak it's like our new spirit fights against the flesh. I'm actually tired of doing wrong but I know I can't be perfect. Like this world this life is hard without Jesus. I'm getting to the point where I don't wanna live without him I know I can't. What he did for all of us is beyond amazing and I can't thank him enough. ❤❤❤ He is so amazing and I love him very much and there is a feeling in me that just wants to make him proud 😇😇

Well it seems to me that you dont understand, eternal redemption or one sacrifice for sins forever..You can't save yourself or keep yourself saved..it is the work of God..

Greg Zeno He is not Santa claus,but He understand the condition of man..he know there is none good,no not one..He understand that our righteousness is filthy dirty rags..He understand,that our flesh is His enemy...He understand that we could never meet up to a divine standard in our flesh..so with that being said,He had to give us His righteousness by faith alone in His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ had to take all the sins of the world upon Himself,so that we can be free from the wrath of God. Its not God making a covenant with mankind,its God making a covenant with His Son..and through His Son Jesus Christ, we enter in that covenant by faith alone..

Amen Faith without works is dead , Man is carnal ,they see your works because of your faith then God gets the Glory , God sees the heart of a man , He alone sees our Faith ,, Works without faith is dead works , your twice Dead , Dead in flesh and spirit,, until our foundation is on the Rock all our works are dead because works don’t save us , The finished works of Jesus saves us ..

Thank you thank you thank you for making the message of the Gospel so clear to me. I have been troubled for the past five to six months listening to messages about Christians being able to lose their salvation also have been watching messages on hell and how easy it is as a believer to forfeit their salvation because of a fault and be condemned to Eternal damnation. I thought my my my who then can be saved! Anyway thank you so much for your messages! God bless you!

There's a scripture where Jesus was talking to the Pharisees and the Pharisees asked him what works was must we do and Jesus said the works is this "believe in the one who He Has Sent."

U have faith in Christ for salvation U have faith in the spirit of God giving U understanding or wisdom or knowledge .. U have faith when U are going through trials and tribulations .. U have faith ..in loving our neighbour even with the people whom U find it hard to love U can still have faith in Christ Jesus 🙏 .. David came against the giant Goliath he came against him in the name of the Lord .. David had faith that the Lord was with him .. Jesus said that he'll be with us always .. if he's with us always then we're going to believe and have faith that he's always with even when we are going through our problems 😃 he's with us 🙄👀👍

Jesus is also the way... "I am the way, the truth and the life." Most LSers misinterpret Matt 7:14 saying there that the "way" is difficult. A better translation would be "narrow is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life..." It is narrow because it is exclusive - only through Jesus can anyone be saved. No religion, baptism, works of any kind will save you.

@@lasselarsen6828 You're human, you can't stop sinning! Believe me I've tried and guess what? It doesn't work! Remember God will always FORGIVE you, but, He won't always EXCUSE you. Make no mistake about it, He will let you suffer the consequences of you sin, so just make sure your serious sins are few and far between. I too am a Christian, a sinner saved by grace, but I still struggle with issues like anger and lust. Nobody's perfect.

Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Thank the Lord Jesus Christ redeeming us from the curse of the Law (letter or in our hearts).

Ralph Yankee Arnold. Trusted always to teach sound doctrine. I just want to add that 1.] The book of James is a letter to the 12 tribes of Israel who were scattered abroad. Verse 1 2.] These had become believers. They were the first fruits. Verse 18. 3.] I think (please note this is what I think, it's not stated in scripture please) I think that since these 12 tribes who came from a legalistic "must keep the Law" mindset, but now knew they were saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, were not doing works. They, in their new found freedom, felt they didn't have to do good works. And whilst this is true for salvation, for service here on earth, works are needed. So James had to address this issue, that is, believers ought to uphold the law. James stated that if someone who was very hungry and without food asked for help, how does the fact that you have faith, save the person desperately in need of food and clothing if you give him nothing to eat or clothe hinself? Can your faith save the person desperately in need of food? No. And so such a persons faith did not profit the person in need. It is in this context that the statement "faith without works is dead" is used. In other words , your faith is not profiting those around you. So yes, James 2 is about service not salvation

Salvation By Grace, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 seems to indicate though that a changed life is required to get into heaven. Here is the apparent dilemma, at least in my mind, between Free Grace and Lordship Salvation. The Free Grace camp, if I understand this correctly, would say a homosexual (or drunkard, fornicator, etc) can receive the free gift of salvation without turning from sin. The Lordship Salvation camp says that for someone to truly get saved then they must turn from their sin. I'm not completely clear on this yet because the differences seem subtle but I'm interested in dissecting this argument so I can understand exactly.

But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces and put him with the unfaithful. And that servant who knew his master’s will but did not get ready or act according to his will, will receive a severe beating. QUOTE END Is he speaking to saved or unsaved people?

St. Paul says that we cannot earn the CALL to Christ by our works. In Paul's time, Jewish Christian converts did not allow non-Jews to become Christians because non-Jews were deep in sin and did not do the works of the Law. St. Paul tells Jewish Christians that the CALL to Christ is not earned by works but it given freely to even those deep in sin. Paul writes Abraham wa called BEFORE he was circumcised so he did not earn the call. But after accepting the call we have to do good works.

To take a few scriptures out of context from Romans to sooth your fleshly mind and conscience will not save you when Jesus judges you by your works as he said he would in multiple verses in Revelations, two of which I just quoted.

Had you listened you would have heard the works your speaking of is regarding to reward in heaven, his good works will be accepted, bad works will be burnt up by the fire but the believer himself shall be saved from the fire. Bible is very clear. You also mentioned only what you wanted to justify your own point your trying to make. Please just trust in Christ for your salvation and not yourself or anything your doing.

Yes our works will be judged but understand there is different judgments. One for the believer, and one for the unbeliever which is the main premises of the video. The unbeliever will be judged for their sins and as a result be sentenced to die in hell. Their good works will mean nothing. But the believers will go to heaven and their good works will be redeemed for heavenly treasure. Understand your good works (keeping of the commandments, baptism, circumcision, etc.) aren’t the reason your going to heaven. You go to heaven because you believe Jesus died for your sins. Also keep in mind whenever you read in scripture “No adulterer, liar and so and so will go to heaven”, that isn’t telling you to stop being those things in order to go to heaven. It is saying you have sinned and the wages of sin is death. The gift of god is eternal life by believing Jesus died for your sins.

1 Corinthians 6:9. What about “the unrighteous, sexually immoral, adulterers, thieves…. will not inherit the Kingdom of God.” Isn’t there a limit to what we can do and still get into Heaven? Not that I’m planning on it of course, but I see MANY professed Christians sleeping outside of marriage. Will they forfeit their salvation?

Ephesians 2:8-9 Probably the most misunderstood pair of verses in the Bible. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9not by works, so that no one can boast. Faith is not a claim its not a thought. James says it perfectly. James 2:14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. 18But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. Faith is not an emotion or a mere word Faith must have action (evidence) behind it or it is meaninglessThat is why Jesus and Paul say to repent first which is evidence that one has Faith to believe. Mark 1:15 Acts 20:21, Acts 26:20. We are saved by His Precious Grace through evidence of Faith. Ephesians 2:9 Our works we've done regardless of how noble or much are as filthy rags in God's eyes. However this is where many go wrong we absolutely are to do works (bear fruit) in His name. John 15:1-6 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. Without bearing fruits ( works for Jesus) we will be cut off and cast into the fire. Clearly Loss of salvation. Matthew 10:8 Matthew 28:19 John 14:12 And More. The next verse is almost always left out brings up doing works in Christ. Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. So if you haven't shown evidence of faith by first repenting of sin you are not a believer in God's eyes.

The gospel call to faith presupposes that sinners must repent of their sin and yield to Christ’s authority.” In other words, a sinner who refuses to repent is not saved, for he cannot cling to his sin and the Savior at the same time. Thus the gospel requires more than making an intellectual decision or mouthing a prayer; the gospel message is a call to discipleship. The sheep will follow their Shepherd in submissive obedience. Know the difference between salvation and discipleship. Definition: "Repentance” is the Greek word for “metanoia.”In simplest terms, metanoia is a change of mind. And go different direction. In Christianity, this means changing one’s mind about Jesus, accepting Him as Lord, Christ, and Savior. Repentance is closely tied to belief. Salvation according to scripture is life . One can't earn this life by doing multiple acts of good works. It something that we receive by faith in our dear Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ . On the cross Jesus took away all our sins and penalty for sin so that we can live a life again, spiritual life I mean. This is what the apostle Paul mean. Jesus our precious lord and saviour died to death so that we having died with him to death and sin ( which is the real meaning of baptism ) we may appropriate the heavenly (spiritual life) on this earth. It is not all about escaping hell and going to heaven. It's actually about living that life for which our precious Saviour died and rose again. Its not whether faith alone or faith and works that eventually gets us to heaven. But rather am I after receiving the divine life from God solely on the merits of Jesus ( by faith alone ) having my sins paid and washed is now willing to live that LIFE !

Faith in Jesus means faith in everything Jesus taught, including that good works are necessary for salvation---see Matthew 25: 31-46. Faith alone will not save us. The rich man in the Lazarus-rich man parable had faith---he called on father Abraham---but he lacked the good works of feeding the poor. The devil himself believes in Christ (Luke 4:34) but the devil will never be saved because the devil lacks good works.

George, Satan was in heaven with God. He knew about God and rejected him. That’s without atonement. Satan was perfect and chose willingly to rebel and become sinful. He chose it. We as humans are conceived in iniquity, born into sinful flesh. We did not chose it. Therefore God has mercy on us because we are helpless to save ourselves. Satan chose his path, we did not. That’s why salvation through faith is offered to us, yet salvation is not offered to satan nor his angels.

Obedience to God is not works. The Apostle Paul said that he was no longer a sinner after he came to know Jesus and received the Holy Spirit. Paul said, "At one time (past tense) we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior..." Titus 3:3-6 Notice, Paul said that Jesus saved them from disobedience through the Holy Spirit. Paul became a true man of God who preached against sin. It wouldnt make sense for a sinner to preach against sin. The bible calls that a hypocrite which Paul was not. Paul also told us that Jesus only gives the Holy Spirit to those who obey him. Paul said, "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." Acts 5:32 Scripture says that Paul was not a sinner and sinners do not have the Holy Spirit living in them.

Can a person have works without faith? Yes, as evidenced in Matthew 7:21-23. These “workers of iniquity” (as the Lord called them) performed “many wonderful WORKS” in Jesus' name, but they went about to establish their own righteousness, instead of submitting themselves to the righteousness of God, which is through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:3-4; 2nd Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 3:9). Can a person have faith without works? Yes, as evidenced in John 12:42-43. The Scriptures say that “many of the chief rulers BELIEVED” (had faith) on the Lord Jesus Christ, but they “DID NOT CONFESS HIM.” They were afraid of persecution from the Pharisees. They had faith without works! Also, we see the repentant thief on the cross, who had no time to shew forth any works. And again we see in 1st Corinthians 3:15, at the Judgment Seat of Christ, that some men will barely “be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1st Corinthians 3:15, “If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” Clearly, this man was saved but HAD NO WORKS! So if works were necessary to validate faith for salvation, then this man could not have gone to Heaven. Yet, the Bible teaches that “HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED,” despite having NO WORKS whatsoever!!! So many Christians today are living shallow lives, choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life (Luke 8:14), who never bear any fruit (no souls saved) unto the Lord. God's desire for every believer is to mature so that they “BRING FORTH FRUIT” (Luke 8:15). Fruitless believers won't shine in Heaven (Daniel 12:3). It is every believer's duty to share the Gospel with the lost. God is our co-laborer (1st Corinthians 3:8-9). The Holy Spirit speaks to people's hearts, as our words speak to their minds. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation to “THEM THAT BELIEVE” (Romans 1:16). Romans 4:5, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”

Book of James was written around 62 AD...(after Jesus' death and resurrection)...thus the salvation for the Jews is no longer following the Moses' law . Moreover, James introduced himself as a christian to other fellow Jewish christians from the 12 tribes of Israel and also calling them "my brother and sisters", " brethren".. Sounds good. Most churches mix the 2 main gospels. Faith and works were together for Jews. But Paul has verses that seperated. Under Paul . Jesus taught Paul 3 years mysteries of grace. . Mr. Arnold misunderstands, Abraham was justified by his works, (but not works alone) but because he believed with faith he did the works that God required. Romans 4:2-5 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Faith without Jesus finished work on the cross is dead. We can justify our selves before men by good works, but not before God. Romans 4:2 thru 8.. If we could be saved by works, then Jesus died in vain. John 3:18 Believers are no longer condemned. That makes John 3:16 true. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER, BELIVETH in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life Jesus said it, I believe it, and that settles it. I am a WHOSOEVER, THEREFORE I HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. John 6:47 Romans 3:26 thru 28. My rewards in heaven are based on my works. First Corinthians 3:11-21 If all my works are burned up, I will lose all my rewards, but I am still saved so as by fire. Only my rewards can be lost. First Corinthians 3:15. if you have done the will of His Father in heaven, John 6:40 you have done the work of God. John 6:40 If our works could save us, then Jesus died in vain. Thank God He did not die in vain, he died to pay my debt and set me FREE.

God is no respecter of persons. He will save anyone by faith alone in Jesus finished work on the cross alone apart from works. Romans 4:5. I love this book. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin, and we all die, but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus finished work on the cross alone. Romans 11:29 For the GIFTS, eternal life, and calling of God are without repentance. Irrevocable, Can not be changed back. Ephesians 1:13 and 14. Our guarantee of eternal life. We are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 What if we lose our faith? Second Timothy 2:13. If we believe not, He abideth faithful, He can not deny Himself. His Holy Spirit that lives in all believers who seals us forever as a child of God. He may chasten you, but He will not condemn you. John 3:18 John 1:12 and Romans 1:16.

Hey Jim look at your verse you quoted... 2 Timothy 2:13 *If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.* It says if we are *FAITHLESS,* He remains *FAITHFUL* I believe everyone will ultimately be saved... John 12:47 says even if you *DO NOT BELIEVE* and 2 Timothy 2:13 says, if you *ARE FAITHLESS.* The good news is even better than we thought it was. John 12:47 *And if any man hear my words, and BELIEVE NOT, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.* 1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, *who IS the Saviour of ALL MEN...* 1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and *not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.* Romans 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience *THE MANY were made sinners,* even so *through the obedience of the One THE MANY will be made RIGHTEOUS.* Jesus the second Adam reversed the curse of the first Adam. We took no part in being made sinners and we take no part in being made righteous. If we don't believe Jesus reversed the curse of Adam then we are saying that the first Adam was more powerful than God.

James calls everyone he talks to "Bretren" in those 12 verses in chapter 2 of James...that means he believes they are his brothers and sisters in Christ. If James 2:14 is not talking about reward as Romans 4 says then WE would have a gigantic "contradiction" in ALL of the BIBLE (and consequently the "ENTIRE BIBLE WOULD BECOME SUSPECT")...but we do not have a contradiction, because James is talking about REWARDS and "WORKS before MEN"..."NOT before GOD"...Romans 4:2 !

This preacher does not understand the Role of Law in our Faith. He was trying to seperate the Grace apart from the Law which is INSEPERABLE..There is no Grace if there is no SIN, which is a transgression of the Law and the wages of sin is death. So sin was there because the Law was there and we are all under the condemnation of sin in which Jesus paid for after we accepted Him as our personal Saviour and to turn away from our sins and not to continue sinning, because we will be judge thru our deeds. How come James was not talking about Salvation, but only Christian Service, where in fact he emphasized " Can such Faith Save him?" .....Save from what???..... FROM HELL IF WE WILL CONTINUE SINNING LIKE HAVING A DEAD FAITH WITHOUT WORKS!, WHO DOES NOT OBEY, NO FRUIT, BUT TRANSGRESSED!..like a fruitless fig tree that was cursed!...like a hypocrite Pharisees professing that they have faith but no faith (dead faith) only own works and was condemned by Jesus!. Beware of Lawlessness!

Psalm 147:19-20 19He declares His word to *JACOB,* His statutes and judgments to *ISRAEL.* 20He has done this for *NO OTHER NATION;* they do not know His judgments Hallelujah! The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. Did you catch that? The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. That would be Israel. Only Israel was under the law. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...* We were never under a Covenant at all. This is fantastic news for us. God's love, mercy and grace is much greater than we ever thought possible. I believe the Parable of the lost sheep is a picture of God's love for ALL people ever created. The house of Isreal represents the one lost sheep. They were the ONLY ONES that needed to be redeemed from the curse of being under the first Covenant law. *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant. Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.* Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the *LORD WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.* *We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!* Never has been and never will be! Praise the Lord! *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news! Praise the Lord! Book of James is talking to the 12 tribes scattered abroad. It is not talkin to the body of Christ. Because a man is justified by faith without works according to the Apostle Paul. So Yankee doesn't really rightly divide scripture very well he thinks that he's coming back to Earth after the catching away of the body which is not biblical

He lives in the same city as me (Tampa, FL), and sadly he needs to be avoided. This false conception of salvation by grace was invented by Augustine. Same also with the doctrine of hell.

Thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Please let me know your thoughts about it... The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.* We were not under the first Covenant. Hebrews 9:15 ...For Christ died to set *THEM* free from the penalty of the sins *THEY had committed UNDER THAT FIRST COVENANT.* We did not commit sins under that first Covenant. Also...Jesus said... He was *ONLY* sent to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. That is not us. Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."* Acts 5:31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, *TO GRANT REPENTANCE to ISRAEL, and FORGIVENESS of SINS.* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. Also... Jesus paid for all sins past present and future then it says he removes them and remembers them no more. Now if he has done that no sin will cause a person to lose salvation we have two natures we can chose to walk in the spirit or flesh either way if he paid for all our sins its impossible to lose salvation. Our good works are like filthy rags and will not save you. Idk why this is so hard for people to understand. If you believe you can lose salvation you obviously dont belive in what was done on the cross.

@@hellbillyoutlaw8719 AMEN!!! The reason is because of the society we live in. If we DO something "GOOD" we get a "reward". If we DO something "BAD" we get punished. That is how our system is based. However, Jesus Christ PAID for it ALL and GIVES Salvation to ANYONE that Believes & Trusts in Jesus Christ.
