Imagine having a pack of cigarettes in your glove box that the dog picks up on, and they trash your car for a box with like 3 cigs in lol

I noticed they didn't show the footage of them breaking into the cars that had a single packet of genuine cigarettes inside them.

i have to laugh a bit. Real cigarettes have just as many dangerous chemicals as the contraband cigarettes. It has absolutely nothing to do with peoples health at all, it has everything to do with the tax money. I do not live in Britain, i live in Ontario, Canada but here we have the same issue if not more so, but here the Police and the Ontario Provincial Government can do nothing about them as they are produced and sold on Native Reserves. Natives in Canada are exempt form paying taxes so the Government cannot enforce the duty tax on them, all the police enforce is if someone is selling them off the reserve, but if they are bought off the reserve for personal use, the Police refuse to enforce because it does not make sense to do so, if they did, the courts would be backed up for the next century. Cigarettes here in store are so expensive, that the majority of smokers who are in the low or middle income brackets buy them off the reserve and with good reason, in store a carton of 200 cigarette's costs anywhere from 100 to 150 dollars depending on the brand, a carton of reserve smokes cost anywhere from 20 to 40 dollars.

I love the idea of an actual fake Britain, a Chinese-built island off the coast of Cornwall where everything is a little bit off

In Britain if they suspect fake cigarettes the poilce can just immediately damage your car with a crowbar. Why not just ya know pick the lock or hit the unlock switch without bending up the car... or break the window.

For some reason this show feels too much like QVC or something where companies advertise their products. They give companies more time to tell how good their product is than talking something interesting about the fake products. This feels like same kind of show as example undercover boss.

Lmao the tourniquets and when he tests the plastic bar is hilarious. Just like Amy other product, you can see that he doesn't use the same amount of pressure to try and break the real thing then he did with the fake. You can easily fake the pressure and motion trying to break it.

Something that bothers me about this is that they're randomly searching peoples vehicles. I understand they're doing something illegal, but I still believe in your right requiring plausible evidence before investigating something; and unfortunately a dog sniffing a vehicle isn't that.

the expert took long to examine the material. how the hell can i tell if it is cashmere or soft wool. too much work before buying a sweater. should i carry a microscope everywhere

as a rat owner i see no problem with rat fur itself (well the fur trade is usually bad), but lying about what something is made of is wrong

Why would they not get a lockpick expert to unlock the cars? They just wrote of multiple vehicles which they could of impounded and auctioned. Basically recycled.

Do they not use a locksmith to get into cars suspected of having fake cigarettes in them? They were using crowbars, etc. for entry, but what if the dog gave a false alert or the car contained legal cigarettes. There must be something I’m not seeing.

Most of the fake "merchants"are made by the original companies. They are just sold cheaper than the originals and don't have the brand name on. After all most of the material today are made in China so there is no difference in bying these things from the originals. They still do the same good job that the original stuff do.
