Some of your observation concerning packaging are irrelevant, because in printing process you have often bigger or smaller deviations. Also, in printing process you can get a lot of errors, a quite complex process with many variables. Especially colorization / brightness deviations (in a reasonable range) are irrelevant. Also changes in booklets (newer/older versions) are not relevant. Highly relevant is logo graphics (companys often do not change this for decades), different sizes of fonts, orthography (obvious errors are highly suspicious), weight of the product. This is a really well made fake product and your comparision is well elaborated!

It´s outrageos that you didn´t make a sound comparison between the two mics. How we would know if the "false" mic has not even better audio than the real one ? For God sake !

That 'fake' one is not necessarily a fake. It could be assemled on a different factory using (cheaper) parts from different suppliers. It could be intended for african or indian or inner chinese market. There are a lot of videos like this one on RU-vid but RODE official channel never confirms 'fake' in comments

How the quality of the sound?

Is it the guy on ebay that partially blurs out the RODE name on the pics? This is why I stopped buying stuff like this on Amazon and Ebay, counterfeits are flooding the market on TONS of items now, even down to SD Cards.

You’re talking about the shape.. if you google it, the shape on the “fake” one are half the pictures on google. I think you’re looking at and older vs new model bro..
