A Canadian calls Jamaica "HELL" and gets EXPOSED by JAMAICA WITH IRIE.
With this episode of "Nonsense about Jamaica debunked" we decided to make a response video to Mario Stinger - Perpetual Traveller to address his false claims about Jamaica. However, it turned out that Mario is not who he says he is and the story took another turn!

Please note a few more important points: 1. I never said that legit cryptocurrency was scam (e.g. bitcoin), but fake one is. Euncoin that Mario created was a fake one, he registered it as "charity organization". 2. I've never called Mario a scammer in the video, I said it's something for authorities to decide. 3. I called him a fraud in the title not because of his past activities, but because he pretends to be a diplomat who works for UN, while in reality he's not a diplomat and doesn't work for UN. The definition of a fraud: deception intended to result in financial or personal gain - and this is exactly what he's doing with all his UN/diplomat bragging on every single occasion to gain benefits on RU-vid/websites as an "expert". 4. While Mario was talking bad about Jamaica, he ALSO gave bad image by association to the following groups: - Canadians (because Mario is a Canadian) - foreigners in general (fueling xenophobia) - travellers in general - non-religious people - United Nations - diplomats in general - Hard Rock Hotel Company  - BMW Company  - Mexico  - Iraq - Afghanistan However, just because Mario is a Canadian doesn't mean that other Canadians would share his opinion or have such an awful attitude, on the contrary! Canadians are usually amazing people! The same applies to all the other groups. I personally fall into some of these groups myself (traveller, foreigner, non-religious) and I felt embarrassed because of this man's attitude, even though I understand that generalizing by association is a logical fallacy. So, I have to remind myself and a quick reminder for others who fall into these groups or enjoy Hard Rock Hotels and BMW - Mario doesn't represent any of these people or companies or countries.

As a Montrealer I was horrified to hear the nonsense this guy was spewing about Jamaica. No city/ country does not have there own challenges and issues. Jamaica's Prime Minister, Mr Holness' nephew lives in Montreal, he can tell you. My wife and I have been to Jamaica four times since 1993 and will be going again in April 2024. We have always been treated well, felt safe, and enjoyed our time there. Thank you for exposing this snake oil salesman for what he is. The good people of Jamaica deserve better. 🇯🇲

I am a Trini who loves my fellow Jamaicans. Every single Jamaican I have worked with was a TOP NOTCH person, through and through. I work and travel throughout the Caribbean and currently live in Saint Lucia. As a fellow Caribbean citizen accustomed to the ins and outs of daily life in several islands, my overall sense is that this French Canadian UN person was PUT IN HIS PLACE when he came with his racism and First World arrogance and he is still salty about it. I would bet anything, an educated, proud Jamaican woman or man did not take shit from him and cut him down to size. He is still "toting feelings." LOL.

My dad is white from Britain but now naturalized Jamaican(I was born in Jamaica), and he was living in Jamaica for 30 years and we lived in different parishes as well as Kingston.i spent most of my life in jamaica. We are no longer in Jamaica. But my dad lived on many different Caribbean islands and he says Jamaica by far is his favourite island. Everywhere has their problems but Jamaica is nowhere as bad as that guy make it seem and in fact the more I travel the more I appreciate the country of my birth.

Never heard of anyone in Jamaica hiring a Filipina nanny or helper. Everybody hires local, and often by word of mouth recommendation. Plus if Jamaican nannies are so bad, why are so many working in the US and elsewhere, with families of all types? That has been the case for decades. Our former nanny in Jamaica used to work with well to do Jewish families in New York. I live in Canada now and wish we could get her to come here.

I went to Jamaica.and used my ATM Bank card from Canada in Kingston. It did worked right away. I did notify my bank and let the bank know that I was traveling to Jamaica. Jamaica has lots of fresh produce at all times. Mario, Jamaica is loved all over the world. You can't stop tourists from traveling to Jamaica.

Top shelf video my Sister - I am a 61 year old Canadian Male - The first time I came to Jamaica I was 17 in 1979 - I camped in a tent on the grass by the light house in Negril - I have been to Jamaica over 20 times in the last 43 or so years - I have had many great experiences over the years and have met and made friends with the wonderful people of Jamaica - Mario might of been to Jamaica but Mario does not know Jamaica or has not experienced the Jamaica I know & love - His arrogance and over inflated ego did not allow that -

As a Jamaican living in the US I was stunned when I saw this video popped up on my feed yesterday. I decided to watch it and I cringe and I asked myself why now? This guy was on the island two yrs ago why would he waited until now to put this video out. Could it be that Jamaica was voted NO1 as a vacation destination in the Caribbean? Or could it be that Jet Blue has added 17 more flights per month to the island along with American air line ? Or could it be that it’s the beginning of the tourism seasons ? Or could it be that jamaica as done tremendously well in the Olympics, with several Grammy nomination etc? Or could it be that through out the pandemic which hit Jamaica hard ,that the name jamaica as done tremendous overseas.? Whatsoever was Mario’s intent , he never bargain on the gum sleuth. Irena Bruce who took him down masterfully with her investigating report. I am not saying this because I am a Jamaican but the worse experience I have ever had at a Airport , was at Heath Row airport in London and Pearson airport in Canada and the worse hotel Springfld Massachusetts, Miami Florida and Toronto Canada and The Best hotel I have ever stayed at is in Jamaica and Paris ! Oh please! I use atm every time I go to JA and I get the same response as when I’m in Toronto. Mom lives there partime of the year and she has Canadian card and never had an issue.
