My wife did not want me to get a Rolex and wanted something more subtle. I got the Brequet Marine in black. Love the watch, but I also got a Datejust several years later.

100% agreeing with you on the Panerai thing. I see so many people on Instagram losing their shit over it, it’s crazy. Massive surge in Instagram police since that post went up 🤦🏻‍♂️. To be honest it’s actually kind of funny seeing those people feel all important, but failing to realize they only come across very insecure.

I know that this is probably not the place to ask this question but I can’t find an answer anywhere else. Has anyone dealt with Watch Rapport? The web site seems above board but the terms of sale (free postage and no duty to UK) seem too good to be true! Would like your opinion Fed.

What model? Perhaps a boutique exclusive or LE would retain value better than say a brand new PAM1312 would. That one will depreciate quite a bit as soon as you walk out the door with it.

I like the channel, I just don't get the Hulk. It's the exact same watch as the regular Sub, just a different dial and bezel yet it cost 4-6 grand more. Who would pay that much more for a color? It's a gimmick and I'm sure Rolex is laughing all the way to the bank.

Rolex charges the same as a normal sub so to them it makes zero difference.

20k? Nah at least in the US starting salaries for entry level positions at Richemont ar like 40k I imagine switzerland is the same or higher.

It's definitely a rolex Kermit (green bezel Insert and black dial), not a hulk ( green bezel Insert and green dial ). It's dial green or black ? In the video looks black

Im wearing the watch... Its a hulk it has a green dial... The dial is reflective and can look black... No need to insist, it is not a kermit.
