@@priyamathew1790 nope!! Surprisingly it just changes on its own😭 i think its because Im just used to speaking that way with my parents and to others in a different accent which could be more understandable to them ☺️
@@mchanel. its mostly people who moved to a different country while they are young so they develop the accent of the new place while also still having their original one so I think it switches to match whoever ur talking to
Expressing oneself can be done with various ways...putting on random arts and rings on bodies isn't one of them... it's just people getting their own vibe of styling...learn the difference
@@vibinpotato lmao are you saying piercings aren't in the Indian culture? Almost everyone has piercings bruv (most women). And not to mention that nose piercings originally came from India. What we see here in this video is a parent shaming their child for making a very very tiny change in their appearance (which does not affect the parent in no way whatsoever). It ain't a culture thing, unless the culture includes bad parenting.
@@MochaHammy it’s a area thing. like when ur around people with that accent it comes out of u if u also at one point talked that way or speak a certain language. even if u don’t that’s why americans can go to england and come back with an accent.
and she doesnt even look bad atall, its kinda sad how parents being this judgemental and controlling is seen as a normal thing by a lot of people though
Bro... all my non-Indian accent Indian friends suddenly have an Indian accent when they're speaking to their family members. Especially when they get mad 🤣 love it. Love ya'll
It's a very normal thing for people who have lived in more than one part of the world. It also comes out when speaking to people from other countries - you mimic their accent so they are comfortable speaking to you.
never be afraid to get a septum piercing because it’s one of the few places u could pierce and hide both the jewelry and the scar. unless u have loved ones looking up ur nose
My mom thought it was fake for months even though my sisters kept telling her it was real lol. She actually like how it looked.. She just did not belive it was real, she even asked me for some jewelry for her. I finally demonstrated removing it and putting it back in and she sat in silence for atleast 25 minutes. This is a woman who cannot sit silently ever, it was lowkey so funny. She didn't like it after that LOL
@@madelyn3108 Pffft nah I'd rock that shi. Get that moo moo action on babyyy! 😭 I feel that though about pretty much darn everything being an evil virus of Satan or whatever like nah I'm just trying to live my life look cool and be me. ☠️
It’s not that people think you fake it it’s that in Hollywood a lot of the accents are forced for the funniness of “oh stereotypical Indian or middle eastern person” even though most times they have a normal accent. It just depends on the person or where they are from
@@diamond-lp4sf oh I’m not middle eastern or Indian I meant it generally from a cultural standpoint bc when you turn it off and on around people that can’t culturally relate they think it’s something forced or an imitation. If you don’t come from an ethnic background living in America, most don’t know of code switching or different dialects or really speaking a second language other than English
Yeah. Not just the accent changes, your tone of voice does too. For example some have a English voice and then their voice ends up being at a higher pitch or something when they talk in their first language
I usually don't like this type of prank content, but if you really cut the footage because you didn't want your family drama as part of the video I can respect that. Your Mom seems really cool and your respect for her is really fresh.
Glad you cut off the actual argument. Some people nowadays don’t know that some family reactions or chats should just stay private. But cute prank, keep it up! Or until your mom buries you lol
@@smoke69420 How did it look like a cow lmao. Genuinely point out ANY similarities. Or do you just assosiate them with cows because of your upbringing?
You literally look amazing with a septum piercing. Don’t let your parents hold you back with that nasty projecting! When I got mine done my mom called me a cow, ugly, and mocked me for months. Oh and of course the extreme but empty threats that she was going to take me out of college! Eventually she gave up and she’s so used to it she pretty much never brings it up. Yay for toxic parents.. Life is too short for your parents to worry over a piece of metal in your nose/ear/etc. sounds childish really. You do you!
Dude idk if I should say this or not but you literally look SO PRETTY WITH YOUR NOSE PIERCING (if that's you in your pfp) idk why your mom said that other than just for being toxic. I am sorry you had to go through that but seriously you look damn gorgeous girl
@@moon-qz1ni yes that’s me in my pfp, tysm! I really appreciate the kind words. And that’s just how asian parents be, it’s a lot of projecting. What’s funny is that she had a huge issue with my septum piercing yet when I got my tattoo on my collarbone she said I could “tell her these things” and wasn’t mad lol. Then I find out she always wanted a tattoo 🙄. She was mad at a $15 piercing that can close up if i allowed it to rather than a $800 tattoo thats permanent . The logic is hilarious!
I have a teenaged son who is now 18, I can know how the argument with without you posting it. I would have had the same argument with my son :). Please give your mom a big hug if you are both willing!
