I hear ya! I wouldn’t spend too much on coins if I was suspicious but I figured I take the risk on the two Morgans. Unfortunately they were fake. But Luckily I was able to get my money back. Thanks for watching bro!
Great table set man! Fakes are everywhere, those 2 morgans look like an alloy, lacking luster. Holy seated liberties! $10 for an entire "love token" collection is a steal! They're cool too! Nice score on the halves, Peace & morgan! I love a good yard sale. You made out man, great video, thanks for sharing!
Great show. If Morgan´s don´t have any kind of bag marks and seem to be "fresh from the mint", they are nearly always suspicious. Glad to hear that you got your money back. Big score on the bag with Love Tokens for a whopping ten bucks, my estimate would be around $ 300,- for the whole lot, perhaps even more. I think that the previous owner just saw them as "damaged coins". The coin at 8:30 should be from Europe, perhaps from one of the German States. And you´re right, "800" means 80 % silver content in this spoon. Keep it up, and see you on the next one ! 👍Greets from GER, U.
Sorry about the fake Morgans but your did get some great buys those love tokens are very collectable great video my friend and happy stacking from English Dave😃
@@johnsonfamilyadventures692 yeah it’s unfortunate but I’m glad it was me who found them and educated the sellers that they were fake. So no one out there will buy them thinking they are real now.
Very cool . Did you check that the love tokens weren’t modern reproductions ? Funny how they had fake Morgan’s and love tokens where were there other coins or do you think they sold the good coins to a coin shop and knew the others were fake so tried to pass them off at the estate sale ? It’s possible .
“22 x Face” means the coins are selling for $22 x the face value of the coin. Two half dollars are $1 face value. So 22x $1 = means I pay $22 for two half dollars.
