This work is a reimagining of (and inspired by) music from Metroid Prime for GameCube.
Honestly, I had never given the Metroid/Metroid Prime Series any thought in the past (apart from knowing the origins of the Metroidvania genre), this was due to me unfortunately not growing up in a console household.
I was blown away when I first listened to the soundtrack of Metroid Prime. This is the sort of stuff I like listening to and the sort I like making myself! For this jam, I was a bit hesitant to do it if it was a game I was not familiar with. Now I am glad I gave it a chance, and after this, I will try and find a way to play some Metroid games.
