High mountains. Short field. A Falcon 8X lands at Saanen-Gstaad, Switzerland and amazes again. Watch as it glides through challenging terrain and lands on one of the shortest fields in Europe. Perfectly
Im getting to be an old man who spent a 30 year career in aviation. While I have worked on many different jets, military, commercial, and corporate, I have never flown in one. Commercial sure, and GA yes. I have about 400 hours total time. One day I hope to find a ride and if really lucky a little stick time in a corporate jet and these Falcon 3 holers are the Holy Grail. The 7X and 8X are in my opinion the cream of the crop. At my age though I would settle for a CJ. Thank you and be safe.
I admit it can land on a high altitude airport with a short runway, BUT the ONLY way to do this is by abusing the brakes and tires!! And probably being extra light! You can only do this a few times before the owner gets upset by the cost of new brakes and tires so flight crews beware!! By the way, I am way too old to be a pilot anymore but I would LOVE to fly one of these!!
