I like Sam because he's grounded he's human like the rest of us it's his will and his experience that makes him deadly and versatile imagine getting that wingsuit and being able to fly anywhere ☺️
It would have been awesome if the MCU gave Captain America (aka: Sam Wilson) an ability to separate, mid-air from his wings, while deploying an "unestablished secondary wingsuit" for a dual attack maneuver.
Don't glaze over the fact that he's a Pararescueman. Those guys are the most badass swimmers, rescueman, and highly trained combat men on the planet. That's all the credibility I need to hear. It takes two years to become a pararescueman, and they have a washout rate of training I think even higher than Navy Seals.
I like this new version of Captain America, he has so many options in combat, and the choreography that could be displayed in upcoming movies and projects would be immaculate.
Wouldn’t a base model iron man suit be a better option than his wings? Or… take the serum. Even Tony’s upgraded hulk buster suit barely survived so I don’t see how this captain America can fight the same fights
I've often wonder what control mechanism does same use to to deploy & move his wings? There have to be controlled by some kinda neuro transmitter because I don't see any buttons, switches or strings. There has to be a neuro transmitter in his goggles that sends commands from his brain to his wing suit.
Wait...so, did I miss it? What actually IS the energy source of his flying suit? I am skeptical that Sam Wilson's Cap (or Bucky's if they had gone that direction) can carry the lead of a now nearly $400 million dollar film. I think it's going to be decent. But I can't see enough regular folks coming out in droves multiple times for a non-Steve Rogers Captain America movie. Just my opinion.
I hate...Hate...HATE how they keep taking away from the character of T'Challa and give things he did to others and diminish what is a very very important character in the Marvel Universe. It was T'Challa that did things like design Falcon's suit... Not Tony Stark. Not dah Wakanians. Not Shuri. Not T'Chaka or some other Black Panther....T'Challa. The MCU is trying with all their might to erase T'Challa and I hate it with all my core. And Sam Wilson in the MCU is a shell of a character compared to Sam Wilson in the comics. Sam in the comics is ions more dynamicso yeah. They are nerfing him too. Yes. There is a pattern. I'm saying it again. YES THERE IS A PATTERN. Even at the most basic levels, MCU Sam Wilson has YET to win a hand-to-hand fight. Sam Wilson in the comics was a fierce hand-to-hand combatant. He never hid behind his wings. He trained prolifically with various fighting experts including Steve Rogers. Sam came out throwing hands and was great at it. MCU Sam Wilson is basically a cream puff that got beat by Ant-man that had to he shown how to throw a punch by his girlfriend a couple of weeks prior.
I only know Sam firsthand from the MCU. I've heard about his comics through videos like this, same with Black Panther. So, I apologize if I'm wrong. I also think he's always been a badass! He only lost because Antman sabotaged his suit. Also remember, Antman was beating Black Widow in Civil War. She was probably the world's best assassin, so I'm not sure how he did. Except it's hard as frik fighting a fly that has the impact of a bullet. I He was training with Steve and Black Widow when they were on the run after Civil War. I heard from someone at Marvel I think. Just my 2¢. I think this is just a rumor, but I think T'Challa was supposed to deliver it. Chadwick was unable. In the MCU it makes sense Shuri made it. Was Black Panther nerfed a lot in MCU?
