Hey hey everyone! I hope your Summer has been great, and that you've been having a good time crafting. Let's get to the descriptions!
First off, I made a new gnome. I made the feet with my mold, and painted them with caramel acrylic paint, set them aside and made the body and hat of the gnome. I used a classy teacup with sunflowers on it for a hat and sat him on the matching saucer. I had to give him a cloth bottom to keep him upright, but it all worked out great! I think he was absolutely adorable, and I hope you do. For the record, this gnome's name is Clem the Sunflower Gnome.
For the second project I turned a bracelet and two pieces of multicolored fabric into a fun sunflower. I wrapped them carefully, cut a piece of burlap into a circle and painted it Coffee Bean brown by Apple Barrel, and added polka dots with my Dollar Tree dabber, and glued it to the middle of the ring. I also glued a stem onto it that I had from a previous project.
My third project was a fun picture sign. I painted a board Crinoline White, cut a pocket from an old pair of jeans, and glued it to the board, and then glued a Temu image of a puppy down on it. I finished off the board with some clear wax and Dark and Decrepit Dust to make it look dingier. I finished it by filling the pocket with sunflower picks that I cut from other picks and added a pumpkin for an extra Fall touch.
My fourth project was a wooden Hobby Lobby plaque that I glued hand-painted sunflowers down on. I used two different colors of yellow and added my special touch to it.
