The word 'fall' was actually used in English before 'autumn' was (we stole it from the French bc aesthetics) so if anyone laughs just let them know it's the og English word!!
I’ve recently become obsessed with books! I’m in 7th grade and I love to read books such as to kill a mockingbird, homecoming, gathering blue, and the outsiders!
The all Souls Trilogy is my #1 favorite! A Discovery of Witches holds a very dear place in my heart! ♥️ I’ve read it over and over at the start of fall🍂🎃
Deborah Harkness has a Facebook page and we all talk about the All Souls Trilogy. Right now there's a real time reading marathon and were reading chapters on the actual day and month they happened in the book. You also get sneak peaks of them filming season two. It's a beautiful group.
@@readernac13 yeaaah I love that group. There's so much activity and everyone is nice ti each other. Plus we're fangirling all the time about the books and the TV series ;)))))
I logged onto RU-vid and got super excited to see a new video from you and especially with it being a recommendation video! I added the books to my tbr. I missed seeing videos from you. You are my favorite.
I just loved The All Souls Trilogy, A Discovery of Witches, Shadow of Night, and Book of Life. A spill off trilogy from this is Times Convert. The season was amazing and they are filming the second season now. There's a real time reading marathon going on right now on Deborah Harkness' Face Book Group. 🤓📚
I watched A Discovery of Witches and in the beggining of this year I finished All Souls Trilogy and liked more of the series and I have huge expectations because in the series I haven´t seen some things that pisses my off in the first book.
A new book is out from Dorrancebookstore.com is called " A Heart's Journey" by Beth Howard. A charming story of a woman abused, she leaves him to travel to England to stay with relatives. She struggles to find herself and gain faith within. She finds a job at a pub in a hamlet. She makes new friends and a real man comes along.
The lost queen sounds reaaaally interesting, I hope I can find it. I am a Mexican booktuber and I really hope that our community would be as vast as yours, thank you for inviting us to read more trough your videos. New subscriber!
leaves: *fall off the trees* Americans: YA KNOW WHAT WE SHOULD CALL- JK call it whatever you want lovely people, no hate :D I'm so excited for your new video! Even though I live in the Southern Hemisphere, I'm living for all this beautiful autumnal-themed content... even as I sit here sweating... P.S. I LOVE your dress!
I've only read "The Shadowy Horses" by Kearsley. I definitely need to read more of her! I read "The Lost Queen" when the paperback came out! So good! 👸🏼⚔🛡 currently reading: "The Gargoyle" (Davidson) 📚📚📚
i think you would like the winternight trilogy. it’s russian mythology, russian medieval history, an in-depth look at the russian Orthodox Church, boyars and grand princes and the best romance between a witch and a winter demon.
Sasha, have you read anything by K. M. Rice? I feel like you'd really like her style and her book "Darkling" especially is a great choice for Halloween with the ghostly elements, but there's sweet romance too.
I grew up in New England and we all say autumn, that’s odd! I noticed people not from this area tend to say fall, and whoever is from here says autumn!
I have started watching this and I was pretty interested in the third book but I had to stop watching your vid after a while because I'm seriously worried you are spoiling the whole story..? Like I'm pretty sure I know what the second book is about, you spoiled the whole thing like this happens and that happens and then they fall for each other and then it turns out there is a conspiracy and I'm sure by now I know half of the book at least, maybe not how it ends, those last 20 pages are still a mystery. Maybe you could try to say only an intro about the book, hint that "it's about a priest's son who wants to live a normal life and about a demon girl, and there is a conspiracy going on the background (not telling who is the mastermind and who is the distraction, like come on!) and it's a really good book, reading it feels like blah blah blah" to entice the viewer instead of a full a review and leaving out only the ending.
