Well Any a bittersweet morning for me. My daughter and young kids left NY to head to N Carolina. A new start for their family. Sad for grandpa and grandma and aunt and cousin etc. my dad who is 96 felt sad as well. I’m believing that God directed them in this move and pray for safe travel and a new beginning! 🙏🏻

I follow acre homestead she does so much n mostly organic from gardening to canning foods homemade cooking and baking I personally have learned so much following her channel to preservation

Hi Amy! So good to see your recipes. I have a celery tip for you - I always chop any leftover stalks and freeze them for soups and stews. Just dump them into the pot right from the freezer, and voila! I don't even bother blanching them first.

I love that your windows open so you can clean the outside without being outside! I was also thinking that if you think something might bubble over in the oven, you could always put a cookie tray underneath as a safeguard. 😉 Thank you for sharing ... oh, P.S. I have long loved purple and would use purple pens at work. Something about that color .. 💗

Former Barista tip: If you brew your coffee double strength it won't taste as watery as the ice melts. Also, mix the coffee with the cream & sugar etc. In one cup and pour over the ice if you want it all mixed up. If you want the drink in layers add ice, coffee, milk, syrup to the cup. Oh and Carmel or chocolate that you would buy for ice cream sundaes makes an excellent fancy coffee topper at home.

It's going to be a warm week here in Belgium, where our nightly temperatures are *more* than you would expect for the day during this time of year. It's going to be 22°C Thursday & Friday so that's more like spring/summer rather than fall. Very unusual; it happens, I guess. ;)

I LOOOOOOVE the smaller loaves. I have 2 pans that have 4 small loaves in it. LOVE IT!!!!!! I do small and big ones when I batch cook banana nut bread and pumpkin chocolate chip bread. They always devour the big one on the first day when they're hot lol

You can buy a freeze dryer and freeze dry your produce you may buy in bulk or that you don't use up soon enough , and have it on hand in a canning jar to store it

If you make iced coffee to make your coffee drinks with your ice won't melt so badly and it'll be more rich flavor

Good morning. You got lots of stuff done before your family get up as usual and I'm sitting here watching and I probably should be getting up and doing things myself. I don't know how your family sleeps through all that stuff going on around lucky for that. It's only myself and my daughter and she will wake up in a heartbeat when I turn something on like a vacuum. However that her alarm doesn't wake her up. Maybe that's what we need to do is make her alarm sound a vacuum and see whether that will wake her up. I'm glad you were able to somewhat come close to your ice cap you'll be able to enjoy it at home. Why did you cool your bread, the small ones, on their side? Sams club has good coconut oil

One easy way to melt coconut oil like that is to just run hot water on the outside or submerging in hot water.

Our fridge door wasn’t shutting properly, so we ordered magnets from Amazon and now the seal is working great DIYMAG Strong Neodymium bar Magnets with Double-Sided Adhesive there about $30 for 20 we put a few on top of each other so it meet the door did two on top and two on the bottom. It’s been a year and still working fantastic. Hope this helps

I cant remember what you use for teeth whitening. Your teeth are always so sparkly. Could you please tell me what you use? Lol I asked too soon. Saw you reference it when cleaning out the doors on the fridge.

I got a jug of that coconut oil and after I got home with it I looked at the information on the back of it and I can't use it because it's 65 percent saturated fat and I have high cholesterol.

If you put the coconut oil in a sink of hot hot water it will become liquid very quickly of course you make sure the lid is tight works every time
