We lived on a small hobby farm when the kids were in school and we found all kinds of things in field and forest to decorate with. I even made a little extra money selling them. Great fun. And they are are beautiful. 😊
Jessica, great idea. You sure do know how to creative decor on a budget. (aren't we all?) :) Thanks for a great tutorial. Also, love allof your background music, very relaxing. God's blessings to all
I love this! You are always so good at doing projects on a budget. That is so helpful. The display on your mantel is beautiful! (Also, the intro to your videos is so calming and welcoming. It always lowers my stress level. Thanks for that!)
Using toilet paper rolls as the anchor piece is very creative. The rolls add both volume and stability. The colors go really well with the painting. I noticed the book The Zinzin Road on your mantle. That made me wonder if you were once a Peace Corp Volunteer. The book is a realistic fiction about a group of Peace Corp volunteers caught in the undercurrents of a revolution in Liberia in the 1960s. Zinzin Road is actually a pseudonym for Zorzor Road in Liberia. The book was banned in Liberia until the coup in 1980s. If I remember correctly, you are a nurse. (Forgive me if I'm wrong; I'm old!) Just wondered if you were a PC volunteer. I enjoy your videos very much.
I am not a PC volunteer. I bought the book because I loved the vintage look of it but I have wanted to read them to see what they were about. Like having a functional piece of decor. :) Thank you for mentioning it, it sounds very interesting and I will check it out! :)
