We made it through the extreme heat and drought conditions of this past summer in north Texas. With October beginning, the weather will soon be cooling down. With the fall cool down, there are a number of weeds that germinate in the fall with the cooler weather. You still have time to put sown your fall preemergent application to control weeds going into the fall and winter season to help your lawn through the upcoming seasons and going into next year's lawn care season.
