Hello friends! 🎃
The mornings have become crisp and the leaves are starting to change. I've been fully embracing cozy season and really trying to enjoy every single day of fall this year. My mornings have become full of such special rituals and routines that I look forward to every day. I do want to preface that this is not what my mornings look like every day. This is my ideal morning on a weekend when I have extra time to slow down, focus on self care and really relish in this beautiful time of year. With that being said, I really hope you enjoy this morning routine video. It includes so many elements of fall that make me so happy. Pumpkin spice chai, cozy sweaters, reading autumnal books, apple cider pancakes (and a wall adorned with pumpkins!?? This is a thing here in New England and I love it! I never saw that in Utah). ANYWAY! I love you so much for being here and watching. I hope you enjoy! 🍁

The dark gets to me as well, especially at the end of a workday. This year I am planning ahead with activities, theme weeks, baking projects and fun outings to fill my calendar. Maybe going to try light therapy too. Wishing health and happiness for you ❤

To everyone who is sensitive to these dark months, I highly recommend happy lights! They’re lights that emulate the light from the sun without the harmful uv rays you’d get in a tanning bed.

Same here-winter is dark, cold and depressing and although I love fall I can’t enjoy it because I know what’s behind it. UNTIL I found Desi. She makes Autumn and Winter so enjoyable you’ll look forward to it instead of dreading it! Her videos also help to create hygge which can only be enjoyed in the cold dark months. Good luck, friend! @@herstrangekindlight therapy is definitely beneficial. I have a light box that sits by my computer all day to mimic daylight. It does seem to help with Seasonal Affective Disorder. ❤
