Yeah, and this was fall of the mutants arc! And yes!!! HOLY COW! like, much later "cyclops won't kill Xavier" 😳 Holy cow! He did! 🤯 In the original ultimate universe, Spider-Man said the X-Men weren't hated because they were mutants, but because they were big time a*sholes! 🤣
And everyone that loves Cyclops in X-Men '97 doesn't know the whole story. Lol I just can never really like him because of his character- the choices he has made.
@@kristenwilkinson5182 I felt the same... But it's not only about being too different, they were different in a bad way. First shocking example that comes to my mind... Ahem... Wanda and Pietro... Ahem.... Too much "love"... 😬... ... And Wolverine was peeping... 😬 Unnecessary plot detail used only for shocking factor... I didn't like the way the X-Men were imagined there.... I had to agree with spidey... Ppl hate them cause they are a Bunch of Jerks! 🤣 Now we have 2 issues of new ultimate X-Men... 🤔 have you checked them out? Not bad, but it's like a "The Mutants" story, ok... But I guess later this will become something that resembles X-Men....
Gateway and Manifold are special. It's not creating ways to transport very fast but they "ask the universe for help" and not like "forcing a hole in spacetime to make an instantaneous travel portal"

I only know I saw gateway a lot here as a transportation method, and now manifold is the same 😅 Oh my! Stereotype of "natives have the more mystical powers".. Like "asking the universe for permission" and not punching a wormhole in the spacetime fabric, the American way! 😉😁
@misterlau5246 Well all the writers are from America. In another comic book they said the Highlands were north of Edinburgh and my friend from Scotland said "Um no. Lol That's not true". Lol So I do admit we are in our own little world here sometimes. Lol So are you from Australia?

I don't remember, I just started binging all his books! whoa, memories! Not only X-Men, but one I was shocked, VANTH Dreadstar Those comics were for older readers but please, I LOVED THEM... 1984 or 1985...let's try to remember... Well... We had the thing about the deaths of X-Men cause the forge and storm story... I'm old..

Lol In the 90s (late 90's is when i started reading/collecting) comic books were 100% geared towards men. Lol Did you see my video of the first Wizard magazine I ever bought?......LOL
