Wow that's opening is one of the best ways to display the coldness that Admiral Shed has adopted. Absolutely love the series.

501st Journal Week 90 - Derra IV CT-2401 "Blue Star" It seems as though Admiral Trench's counterattack is falling apart. Unsupported and under strenghed, the attack force is falling. Umbara has already been reclaimed by Captain Shack and meanwhile elsewhere the fleet's most trusted officer, Tarkin, has been busy burning out separatist strongholds in the galactic north. As for our situation here on Derra, it's been rather quiet since that small probing attack a couple weeks ago. Never ones to just sit back and wait for the enemy, Cody and Rex have been devising ways of trying to break Trench's blockade from on the ground since command hasn't deemed us worthy of rescue. The best chance we have is the old run down hyper velocity cannon that was once stationed here. The old thing is decades old at least but it's our only shot. The whole project has Grease Trap ecstatic especially since he's been put in charge of restoring the thing. Which also means he's had us crawling through old maintenance shafts and fixing corroded conduits. Boomstick of course wasn't thrilled at all at the idea of spending all day stuck inside a maintenance shaft instead of out on the hunt for droids. The only thing that seemed to subdue his anger was the promise that as soon as it was operational he'd be the first to shoot Trench's command ship. Soon Trench is going to learn why you don't mess with the 501st.

I may be just super biased, but having an AOTR campaign from Shed's perspective and now the Clone Wars, I would vote for another AOTR as the rebels. This series has been awesome, I love the the battles and especially seeing the story unfold between the two brothers

Clone Intelligence Unit Jedi Attaché Windu and Tarkin have begun cleaning up the northern section of the galaxy. Tarkin is exceptionally pleased with the performance of the Mandator and the prototype Victory class. Windu has expressed concern that Tarkin’s overreliance on the Mandator will lead to even bigger ships in the future. As Co-Commander of the Northern fleet, Windu has constantly vetoed Tarkin’s request to have the Mandator upgraded to more modern standards. Windu argued that even with the restrictions, the separatists stand no chance against the Pride of the Core. Personal Log- Encryption level: Omega I attended the meeting of the Delegation of 2000. Honestly, I felt right at home. They welcomed me with open arms. Not sure if it’s because I’m a Jedi or if it’s because we have the same concerns about the Republic. Perhaps both. They had me speak about my concerns with the Security and Bank acts. Many senators expressed similar worries. We worked together to draft a manifesto to send to the Chancellor to stop this insane transformation of our democracy. Afterwards, Bail Organa of Alderaan hailed it as a great experience having a Jedi join their ranks, as now the power of the Force was on their side. I can’t help but agree.

it'd be cool if Shack made an intro compilation at the end of the series, Shed's descent into the dark and Shack's potential defection to the coming rebellion. Could make for an interesting next playthrough

I had a thought. When the time comes to choose whether to execute order 66, the decision in-story should come down to a confrontation between Shack and Shed. I figure in my mind it would look like this: The week before, Shack makes some reference in his intro to an "off the books" assignment that he's personally taken on, warning Shed to stay clear of some Macguffin that will prevent order 66 from being given. Then when the time comes, the intro is made by whichever brother whose side was chosen in the decision between orders 66 and 65. If order 66 is executed: Shed makes the intro as either a report to command or a personal log entry, describing how he had been forced to confront his own brother for the good of the empire, and expressing disappointment that Shack chose to defy his orders, his command, and thrown away all that Shed has done for him over the years to help him and protect him from the most gruesome battles of the war. If order 66 isn't given: Shack makes the intro as a message to his brother. He describes the same confrontation, but in this case Shack succeeds in his objective and Order 66 isn't sent out. I'm not quite as sure what Shack would want to say to his brother in this case, maybe something along the lines of frustration that Shed can't see what the empire is becoming, maybe some "if you'd only listened to me" and "I'm sorry it had to come to this" thrown in. I don't know if this would be too easy, but there's definitely an opportunity to quote Revenge of the Sith here - "You were my brother Shed! I loved you!" "It's over Shack. I have the high ground." By the way, in either case I'm assuming that both brothers survive so that they can appear in AotR.

According to the novel Lost Stars, Non-Officers of the imperial navy are expected to drink a nutritive milk of sort, so basically Huel or one of those other meal replacer drinks. Though they can request real food if they want they'd be looked down on. I don't know for sure if Stormtroopers also drink that milk, but I wouldn't be surprised.

(under the golden government button, should be the first thing you see) Surely your have to be close to 100 so we can get the Choice between Mon Mathma or Palatine before this is over, just to see it if we aren't coming back for a while.

I was going through winter warfare training at Bridgeport and got stuck with 11 MCWs (Meals, Cold Weather) in a row that were some variation of 'eggs, English style.' They weren't bad, and I preferred a lot of MCWs to a lot of MREs, but 11 eggs in a row, with only two MCWs a day, was ludicrous. And then we went to Norway and I, being public affairs, was saddled with writing an article about them. And of all the reporting I did for the Marine Corps, that was the *one article* the Pentagon posted on their website.

AOTR got some beautiful maps and great new units like the Alliance Assault Frigate Mk II. And the galactic AI got an overhaul so now Black Sun isn't as overwhelming. Its great.

Hey shack I have been watching your channel since the beginning of the SE survival with Wasted and Morph and I wanted to say that I am still loving the content. I just downloaded the 4.0 remake mod and I am excited to play it.

The enemy wants to attack my border world? Okay, let me send in my response fleet. But even then I barely do that as of the stated reason that Shack says: A sitting fleet is a useless fleet. 43:50 The donuts are here, prepare to be glazed.

Lightmaker Acclamator Assault-class, XO Log Current Assignment: 1st Fleet, Ithor (later Ord Trisanni) After a stint doing blockade duty over Bothauwi, we were temporarily reassigned to aid in Tarkin's big push in the north. While the big ships like the Pride of the Core went to do what they do best and grind CIS ships into dust, we were assigned to ferry the wounded from ground campaigns back to medical centers in the Inner Colonies, along with some Peltas. For once, we we're actually doing what this rust bucket was designed to do. We converted the cargo bays and what was once the hangar into massive temporary medical wards. After Agumar and Ithor, we also helped repair battle damage to Yularen’s ship, the Resolute. The Admiral wanted to walk around the Lightmaker, and he talked a bit with the CO during the tour. Yularen is a good man at heart from what I know of his work with what was the Open Circle fleet, but he’s grown colder, more calculating, especially now with Anakin gone. He seemed to be examining the crew, especially officers, myself included. While walking around the medical wards, I tried not to let too much emotion show. I’m not a clone, but most of the guys in there have seen enough of this war, and deserve a life in peace. This war's gonna end soon, but now everyone seems all too happy to pay any price to make sure that peace lasts. -- Ord Trisani Space battle-- Shortly before the tour was supposed to end, the ship was ordered to general quarters. I quickly got the Admiral back to his shuttle, while the CO ran to the bridge. Apparently, the CIS blew through the token space force and delivered reinforcements to the isolated CIS-held Ord Trisani. Because we were one of the few undamaged ships in the AO, we were ordered to join the QRF. With all the wounded aboard, I assumed we'd be allocated to long-range missile support. But half-way through the battle, Tarkin ordered us into point-blank range with the enemy Lucerhulk. Did he not know how many wounded we were transporting or did he just not care? I looked at the captain confused but he just looked concerned and resigned to this fate. Before he could order us into the attack, the CO of the other Acclamator came over the comm and said she was moving her ship into the attack in our place, charging into melee range of the Lucerhulk. Their split-second decision probably saved every life on-board the Lightmaker, and even though their ship took a beating they somehow got out alive.

in the next campaign will you have the death of main characters in this one effect it? Like will Obi-wan's and Anakins's deaths change anything in the game?

Love the intro stories as always, it really feels like this should be followed up by a rebel playthrough :D

You can tell by the narrative that the Republic fell long before the proclamation of the New Order. Really cool, Shack. LOL @ that angry comment, I mean it's annoying when you forget stuff but let he who has not forgotten something cast the first stone at you. So crazy. The remake mod.. not a big fan of being nickeled and dimed with semi-real world life costs, I play games to get away from that type of thing. No one is forcing me to play the mod however, so what will be will be. Can't deny it looks amazing though! NEXT MOD: AOTR. Galactic Civil War: Captain Shack goes up against his brother to liberate the galaxy from tyranny. Then Thrawn's Revenge; having Admiral Shed somehow survive the GCW, he tried to unite a splintered Empire while Shack attempt to stop him and reinstate the Republic.

I do think complaints about your lack of digging in is valid. You don't need to sit entire armies in a place. But giving them extra abilities is useful. Especially the ability to ping. Because that intelligence edge really helps maximize your broader combat ability.

GLAZING THE DONUT

Thrawn's revenge and Awakening of the Rebellion are both good. I think Thrawn's revenge is my choice as it's the same team as this mod, and I've never seen you play it. Would also be interesting to see how Shed/Shack react to the events in Thrawn's Revenge.

You do have a tendency to win a ground defense and lose some of the defensive army, then not train replacements. I assume that is what the comment about reinforcements is about. But it would make for a boring campaign if you just left a decent 10 stack army on every planet you captured. I'm also interested how you continue the storyline. Without Anakin around, not everything is going to go how Palpatine wanted it to.

Really want to see you play AOTR since you haven’t really got to experience the 2.9 Space combat in a full campaign or even the 2.8 ground combat as rebels. With all the new space maps in the latest update would really be fun to do one of your old style campaigns of Shack not being able to follow his brothers footsteps and defecting to the Rebels. The Black sun aren’t as unbearable to fight since the last time you played, and you could always do the Rebel-Empire only campaign if you still aren’t sold on that!

Hey Shack I finally caught up the series and I wanted to tell u that u should consider moving the clone troopers u build on Kamino to reinforce the 501st and 212th also Alaya has her own battalion so I suggest u should make her have her own fleet like in the clone wars

I think we should have fun with Shack and Shed when the face the faction lead by.... Hovel the Hut. After 6 sessions or so as Hovel, use command line to switch to whatever faction is doing the worst. It's a suggestion.

I would love a mode where you can go from the Republic to Empire and experience all the changes in fleet structure, to building the Death Star and fighting the Rebellion.

Honestly, I prefer the additional resource mechanics of FotR to the proposed/beta ones with Remake (which just focus on (draining) credits); granted, might be outside of the purview of the mod, but just "add costs to everything" seems less than exciting to me.

I think you should do an awakening of the rebellion campaign as the rebellion and have shed die somewhere in there and after that do a thrawns revenge campaign as the new republic OR you could have shed survive the rebel aotr campaign and play as one of the warlord factions in thrawns revenge with the lore behind it being that shed joined that warlord group after endor.

Shack u completely forgot about the Jedi temple u built u should have access to more Jedi’s and battalions now and I suggest u build a fleet and a ground force for each Jedi and spread them out also assign Rex and Yularen to anakin and u have multiple platoons of clones waiting on Kamino not to mention Secura has her own battalion so u should move her out and give her a space fleet

Hey guys, so I have an absurd amount of crashes on this game in general and this mod specifically. It started with regular crashes randomly during play. Then it became blue screen of death crashes, still randomly thruout play. Does any1 have any experience with this? What's the problem? -> My rig is way more than enough to run this game
