Missed Fall Out Boy's appearance on the Today Show earlier this morning? Don't worry, I've got you covered! ;) Hope this is the next music video for them. (Im so sorry for the shitty quality but its still worth the watch, right? :D)
Pete and Joe do back up vocals live, however in the sudio version other people sing in the background: Elvis Costello- "Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet" Gabe Saporta- "Where Is Your Boy?" Travis McCoy- "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" Brendon Urie- "Dance, Dance" Doug Numan- "This Ain't A Scene It's An Arms Race" Alex DeLeon- "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" William Beckett- "Growing Up"
Patrick co wrote the song with Pete about a friend of both of theirs. Trust me I looked at a shit ton of interviews. Pete even stated so himself. Fall Out Boy is may favorite band and have been for the last 6 or 7 years. I know them
They aren't retiring, they're going on a break. xD And it's about Pete and his friendship with Patrick. Live, he often introduces it like, "This song is about a friend who doesn't know how awesome they are," or something along the lines of that.
Dylan Barwick omg these comments from 6 years ago are killing me, lol, because they're still relevant but it reminds me of the times of the hiatus and its triggering lol
So they don't do the end part of the song live? With all the quotes and stuff from other songs.... Who usually does backup vocals anyway? Can Pete sing?
god i live in england and i already hate this show. whenever i see videos of good bands playing on it the vocals always sound shaky like they can't hear themselves properly. (granted he did pick up at the higher parts where it was easier to hear himself, second chorus was EPIC) plus the audience care more about getting 2 seconds on tv than actually enjoying the show. posers.
