Fallen Aces - A Crime Noir FPS Where You Sneak, Beat, Stab & Shoot through Large Multi-Route Levels! 

I'm a little late to the party with this one. I was planning on covering it at launch, but it was released right when I was prepping the Games to Get Excited About Fest so I didn't have time. It's a very cool game though! The art style, voice acting and combat are obviously all a lot of fun, but it's probably the level design that I was most impressed by. It's very open and allows you to sneak or fight your way through the levels in a variety of different ways. Plus THAT toilet scene is some of Gianni's finest work!

Gianni's performance here will truly bring him to the top of the chart. The bristol chart, that is.

The voice actors are top notch. Makes the character feels lively

i enjoy this art style this game has been going for. also the storyline where its not only a noir detective storyline but also pulp fiction heroes, like the well grounded masked heroes and villains. Also the aces also gives of a minutemen (from the watchmen comic) type of vibe in how they dress and seemingly operate.

I really want to play this when it's fully released! It looks like it's so much fun. I feel like it includes a lot of elements of older games, specifically those from older games that really worked. It's clearly made by people who know what they're doing.

First person melee combat is usually a hit-or-miss, but this is one of those rare games that hits it out of the park! Here’s hoping episode 2 doesn’t take too long to release.

One can only imagine what it was like when the voice actor was recording the toilet scene lines. Five whole minutes of a long, extended poop joke.

This is a banger on so many levels, the doom like hud, the lovely and detailed back grounds, the music...... top notch voice acting, deff picking this up

Also gotta remark at how much this wears it's inspirations proudly from old noir films to even pulp comics such as the shadow and in terms of arms designs all but the tranq are based in reality, the tranq is a welrod/mauser mashup

Had a blast with the first episode. Personally, playing nonlethally makes for some very interesting ways to lure and distract them dumb palookas.

I love how the Glassheart gang members react to you when you pull out a gun and ran out of ammo

I do wonder how this connects to Faith Unholy Trinity and Dusk because in Faith chapter 3, we see a picture of the bosses of Dusk and Faith with an unfamiliar antagonist which I believe could be another cult type game which explains why Glassjaw lived despite supposedly dying

This is a dumb take, but it bothers me that the cutscenes have a clear artsyle with thin lines where as the game has thick, rough outlines for the charaters.
