Dear Pastor Bob: I used to be a Christian, but I have fallen away from the faith. My life is very different now, and my heart is hurt. I know I should come back to the faith, but I really don't want to. I don't think I even believe anymore.

The unfortunate falling away brother Pastor Bob. I believe when we don’t listen to the Word when it says that bad company corrupts good character. In many different ways unfortunately as well. But like you said, He is strongest at our weakest!Praise God!

The church I grew up in would say that I have strayed from the truth by listening to you. They would say that you teach easy grace and that it makes for a license to sin. I have lived most of my life scared to death of God because one little mistake and I'm on my way to hell. But this hasn't made me more holy it's just left me hopeless. The message that you preach gives me hope that God understands my flaws and weaknesses and makes me want to be closer to God, not terrified of Him. But to most of my old friends I have "fallen". The conflicting messages are often very overwhelming.

Paul worried about his sin. How one often feels like they are fighting with there flesh, and sometimes our flesh may win. But he realized that he didn't want to sin, if he had wanted to, he wouldn't have been fighting it. Do your best to stay on the path. when you stumble, Ask for forgiveness, God understands it can be hard. He will always forgive you if you truly want forgiveness. Romans 7 20 Now if [I] do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 21 So, then, I discover the principle that when I want to do right, evil is at hand. 22 For I take delight in the law of God, in my inner self, 23 but I see in my members another principle at war with the law of my mind, taking me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.[e] 24 Miserable one that I am! Who will deliver me from this mortal body? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Vengeance. Hi pastor Bob. Roger Martinez of "Vengeance Rising". Roger Martinez was and has been on my mind for a very long time. I know he had really taken a stumble in faith. I have been curious for a very long time Wondering where is he.now, and how he is doing. All too many Christians who have fallen from the faith have been oftentimes grounded by the weight of it. We speak of the elephant in the room, but for many Christians who have fallen in the faith have an elephant on their back, face down in denial of the truth of their condition. I hope Roger is back on his feet in the faith, it is such a rough place to be without God once you have known him. As God's word says. It is better to never have known him than to know him and turn your back on him in denial. Anyhow. I just thought I would voice my mind on this matter, this one is very personal to me as a musician and a brother in the faith of Christ. Maybe the reason why they left is because they're hurt. Not because they want to wallow in sin....or they're just offended. Maybe they were genuinely and seriously hurt by the words and/or actions of others at church. Maybe that's why they never went back. Maybe if we would just be their friends and try to understand why they hurt maybe they'd make an effort to try again.
