I fell away for a time from my faith and had very definitely believed and been saved before with no doubts in me, had experienced the new birth, been transformed, all of it. It’s a long story as to how it happened, but I fell away for a couple years, and God in His great mercy still saw fit to snap me out of it and show me my error. I was a sheep that strayed very far from the flock, yet He still came to retrieve me, such is His grace and mercy. Some will insist I was never saved. The good news is that I was and still am and that it wasn’t your call.
Actually it's the opposite. If you were never saved Christ would never go and bother to take back an unsaved sheep, a sheep that has fallen away and can't never be brought to repentance, a sheep that never belonged to him in the fist place. The shephered only goes to take back HIS lost sheep, not someone's else sheep. So that implies you ALREADY belonged to him... therefore you were ALREADY saved and you were just backsliding, like many did, even great men of God like king David. Romans 8:35 = Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? John 6:39 = And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose NONE of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. John 10:27 = My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me ( He said "i know them" so how can he say "i never knew you" and cast you down to hell? if you're one of his sheeps he already knows you) This is actually the proof that you HAVE been saved
Between the ages of 12 and 24, like I've heard, it was like the Church had a revolving door. I got saved 3 times, lol, because I was taught that I was either not saved, or had lost it, lol. At 15 I attempted suicide because I was a failure in my eyes. I even went through a psychotic break. I was "Father God" conscious at the age of 5. When I was around 9, I started reading the Bible. I began to understand the gospel and when at 12 I got the opportunity to go to church, I did. I confessed what I believed with my heart to the congregation (believed I had to confess for the purpose of having trustworthy witnesses of my confession. But because I couldn't stop sinning, I thought there was something wrong with me, not God. I was trying to work myself up to a standard God would accept. They called it "backsliding" and they said the problem was me. But I know I was saved. Jesus even visited me while I was in the "world" during that time. Twice. It confused me. But He ignored me when I told Him He wasn't supposed to be there, lol. It was years later I membered what He said. He had said to me, "When you think I'm not there, or you can't see me, just turn around, I'm there." "I told you, I will never leave you nor forsake you. And He's right. He's always right, lol. Praise God. And no, that's now when I had my psychotic break. I had it between the first and second visit. God is better than good as we understand good. Be blessed!!!
So we don't die when they put us in the grave? Was Jesus dead in the grave? Did He actually die for us? We have eternal life dwelling in us after we repent and get the holy spirit. That spirit returns to God when we die. Christ brings us eternal life at the resurrection.
@@budcurtis4512 This is confusing. In Revelation, there are the "martyrs" talking to God during the Tribulation, wanting to know when they get their bodies. He tells them they have to wait a little longer. It does sound like their souls are in heaven with their spirits, not just their spirits alone.

The more I read the Bible, and the more I pray with God, and the more I reflect on the Cross and promises of My Lord and the more I Reflect on All He has done and Been in My Life, the more in love I fall with My God. When reading this passage I always remind myself of the parable Jesus told us about the prodigal son. In that story the father didn’t tell his son that he wasn’t welcome back.
God is not the author of confusion...he won’t save you then unsave you...he doesn’t do either according to our works...via His mercy his grace his love his son...our savior.
He did not rightly divide the word of God in the context of Hebrews chapter 6.you have to remember context is King in the Bible so go back and read the chapters 1 through 5 did he do that no there were three groups a so-called Christians he was talkin about the first two groups were true Christians the last group in Hebrew 6 we're never truly born again. Some people push a message of “you better watch out you could lose your salvation”. Let’s examine that. What would cause you to lose salvation? Sin would. So, if Jesus died for your sins, did it work? Of course it did! That answer alone should end the discussion. Jesus didn’t just die for small sins or ones we rarely commit. He died for the big ones and the ones we struggle with too. There’s not a single verse that actually ever mentions losing salvation. No. It’s just distorted theology. And you can bet it’s almost always from legalist angry Christians and talk more about fear of them they do the love of Christ. Now, let’s talk about the word “eternal”. God’s word tells us “whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall not perish, but will have eternal life”. Eternal means without an end. That word is extremely important when we’re thinking about losing salvation. In order to lose salvation it could not be eternal, otherwise it would in fact have an end At the very best it would be temporary or contingent salvation. Emerite come from we call that works based salvation. And let’s take that word eternal a little deeper. Eternal doesn’t just mean without an end. It also means without a beginning. But wait, you had a birthday so you must have a beginning. And that’s when we discover that eternal salvation is not your life prolonged. But rather it’s Jesus‘ life given to you. It’s his eternal life you receive. And now it makes sense! Anybody teaching a theology of losing salvation is teaching law based salvation. And it’s a lie from the evil one. On one side of their mouth they are saying we are saved by faith, on the other side of their mouth they are saying we maintain it by works. That’s double-talk. If salvation were maintained by works then it wouldn’t be a gift. It wouldn’t be by faith. And that kind of teaching is no different than all the fake religions of the world. Fake religions that require you to earn salvation through human effort. How to teach losing salvation is reject the grace of God. And if we could keep our salvation through human effort then why in the world did Jesus go to the cross? [Galatians 2:21] “ I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness cane through the law then Christ died needlessly”.
In Matthew 18:21-35 ... There's a parable about the unforgiving servant .. ! In this parable you'll notice that what this servant should of had was " he should of had forgiveness to all kinds of people even those who have done him wrong after knowing that his debt has already been cleared ..👍 Yes Salvation is free " but it's your RESPONDING to the salvation message .. after knowing that you've already been forgiven of your sins or your debt cleared and forgiven .. 🤔.. I'm a Christian .. but there are times that I can have a bad road rage problem ... Arguing and swearing at anyone .. but I get convicted by the Lord ... Because by me doing this .. Think of it in this way and perhaps it will be more clear: We are sinners in need of God's mercy and grace. The question of the day is, "Who gets God's mercy and grace?" Answer: It's those who obey and come to Him in repentance, confessing and forsaking sin: ⚫ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30) ⚫ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13) ⚫ "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him . . . " (Isaiah 55:7) If we'll obey and come to Him in repentance, our past sins will be blotted out: ⚫ "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, NKJV). Our sins were neither blotted out nor paid for _when Jesus died on the cross._ Our sins remain-and we'll pay for them ourselves-unless we come to repentance. @@Jillian1stJohn3-9-10 Thank you for your powerful testimony! I believe that God wouldn't have left His Word for us if He didn't want to warn us about deception. SATAN is indeed the father of LIES. I believe it's God's will that none should perish and that He'll go to great lengths to come after us (just like the Good Shepherd after the lost sheep). We can "lose" our physical life just as easily as our spiritual or "eternal" life. Satan and the "fallen" angels once has a chance at "eternal " life. They believe in Jesus but they have not repented because they want to carry out their own will and NOT God's. There are consequences. Just as in this life if we see a car coming and decide to step in front of it.. we will more than likely lose our physical life. If we decide to wait for it to pass then we will preserve our life. In a similar way.. if we choose to do whatever we want in this life and don't have a healthy fear (respect) for God's laws... then we will lose our spiritual life.
Thank you so much for making this video. I struggled with the interpretation of Hebrews 6:4-6 for a very long time, and looked at a lot of videos on RU-vid for explanation. I used to believe the second interpretation, but it was just didn't make sense. You tied everything together without being overly confusing and the argument actually makes sense since you can tie it into the passage in Hebrews talking about chastisement.
this passage is not about losing salvation, but an assurance of salvation. the writer is not saying that salvation can be lost, but cannot lose it. if you can lose it, you cannot be saved again - unless Jesus go to the cross again - which will not happen. those who believe that Christians believe that salvation can be lost always point to the sinfulness of Christians - as if our sinfulness or righteousness had anything with our salvation. when the Bible says it is by GRACE, that's what it means. good news. the debates are about to be over. waiting on Jesus to shout and have the trumpet blown. I hope you are born again and will go up with the rest of the saints.
I believe that there is a difference in Salvation and people falling away from God. I don't believe that we can lose what God done for us on the cross. I do believe that we can get saved and start living for God but then Fall Away. If you fall away and you don't get back to God and get your sins forgiven by Jesus then I don't believe that you can get into heaven. 1st Corinthians 6:9-11, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 21:27, Matthew 7:21-23. you cannot live in sin and do these things and expect to go to heaven. if you fall away or mess up and get out of the will of God then you need to repent and get back to God. Remember The Prodigal Son. I find it really hard to believe that you will still go to heaven if you are living for fleshly lust and willfully sinning all the time and not trying to live for God. God tells us to repent. John 2:1. if you are living in your sin and are not at least trying to repent then how could you ever get into heaven after reading what the Bible says about getting into heaven. God has a standard for his people. 1st Peter 1:15 -16, Matthew 5:48. God wants us to be holy, and to try to be as perfect as we can possibly be, and to try to be sinless.
You missed the true answer, which is the Catholic interpretation. Jesus and the Apostles clearly caution that believers can sin and turn from God, and that this will separate you from God. Matthew 10:22, Matthew 24:50, Luke 8:6,13, John 3:36, John 15:5-6, Romans 11:19, 1 Cor 6:9-12, 1 Cor 15:1-2, Col 1:21-23, 1 Thea 4:3-6, 2 Thes 1:7-9, 1 Tim 1:19-20, 2 Tim 2:10-13, Hebrews 3-12-14, 2 Peter 2:20-21, 1 John 1:8-10, just to name a few. All examples of when actions separated people from God and salvation is lost. The answer is sincere repentance, renewed faith, and continual following of Jesus’s commandments. This is not salvation via works, as faith is a prerequisite...but all who have true faith will follow the example of Jesus. And when we sin, as we all do, we must sincerely repent and correct our ways. This is what James meant when he says “faith without works is dead.” And Christians who abandon their faith - which can happen, we all know them - have also abandoned salvation.
Free will is going to always be yours. The Lord will never leave nor forsake you if truly saved. However if you decide to jump out of his lifeboat and ignore his teachings, commandments, statutes and sanctification process then your free will is going to be respected. Trust in God. It is sad that you believed this false preacher. How can a person who cannot be brought back to repentance can still have eternal life? If God cannot have fellowship with that individual who can no longer repent while that person is still on earth, how will God will have fellowship with that individual in eternity? The Lord Jesus said twice in the Book of Luke that " Unless you repent you too will all perish". Repentance is an act of believing. If you believe the Lord Jesus then you believe and obey His Words, Commands and Teachings. If you do not obey His Words then you do not believe Him and He is NOT your Lord. God made salvation plain and simple, BUT man has made it hard, confusing, and complicated by adding works. John 3:16 is so simple that a child could understand it and believe and be saved.
Repentance is absolutely a requirement for salvation. Repent is to change your mind regarding sin. Prior to salvation you love sin. You must see your sin as an offense to God and believe the gospel to be saved.
This passage is just saying that a Christian who has believed in Christ once...can not go back and be saved again...because the Christian is saved only once and can not get out of it...once you believe you are stuck going to heaven no matter what you do...a believer can loose his rewards in heaven and here on earth (peace of mind, closeness to God, protection from bad things happening to you etc.)... but never never never go to hell...this scripture is one of those taken so out of context...when God says Ephesians 2 8:9 is the Gospel " For by Grace you are saved through Faith and not of yourselves. This teaching is the BEST explanation of this scripture I have found. “Falling away” is explained in Galatians as going back to the law of Moses instead of staying in the new covenant of Jesus Christ. This book was written to Hebrews who were struggling with which covenant was correct for them and they were often confused by false Christians at that time who promoted circumcision and other legalistic teaching. These verses have nothing to do with losing the salvation that is provided in Christ.

That sounds to me like WEALTH is what matters. Jesus did not teach that wealth is our rewards. Everlasting life IS our reward if we are not concerned with wealth ! I have heard this doctrine about wealth in the next life til I am sick to my stomach ! Wealth is greed and if you are trying to lay up riches in heaven by means of "wealth", you will NOT receive these riches ! I suggest you read the bible a lot more closely ! Just to add,no where where does it talk about salvation. Paul makes it clear that he is talking about the things that ACOMPANY salvation - inheritance 6vs9. Paul makes it clear that the works will be burnt vs 8 (a clear reference to geneisis and those who labour out of there own strength(Gen 3:18). Paul is using the comparison between old testament repentance(6 vs 1&2) and new testiment repentance(vs 4-6), saying that it is impossible to be restored by your own works - the whole point of this chapter. Its also important to note that if we fall away that Jesus still carries our faith: Luke 22:32 "But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back",strengthen your brothers"

Anyone who believes salvation can be lost does not believe God for his promise of eternal life. Salvation is believing God, not obeying God with our actions. Once you are a child of God you remain a child of God. Just because a child misbehaves does this mean his mother disowns him and declared he's no longer her child? God forbid.
I would like a pastor to teach about the correlation between blaspheming the Holy Spirit, losing salvation, anf offending or quenching the Holy Spirit in your life. By the way, great explanation on this matter. Many Christian's have backslide but through the grace and mercy of the living God did not perish in that sinful state, but instead repented and started again in the process of sanctification and looking forward to the blessing hope of Christ Jesus Coming. I fell away from God over my illness that would not respond to medication. I was an apostate for 9 long years living in sin, rebellion, and disobedience. There once was a pastor that was tempted to run off with another woman. Another pastor tried to talk him out of it. He went to see him and there was NOTHING he could do to change his mind. This is what that verse means. There was nothing he could say to change his mind. His mind was made up. It was impossible to change his mind. "Impossible to renew them to repentance" NOT lose their salvation. If you sin, willfully or unintentionally and were genuinely saved before you did that, then you cannot lose your salvation. You will lose rewards, not your salvation. To lose your salvation is to say that you must do or not do something in order to keep it. "Never perish" means never...not my words, Jesus's. I wish people would not twist scripture. How could you ever be happy if you never knew if you would make it to heaven? You couldn't. Imagine telling someone about a God who will save you but then "You better be good and not willfully sin or you will slip out of His grasp and go to hell!" Why would they even try? I wish people would just interpret the scripture correctly. Do you not listen to the Holy Spirit and are able to discern truth. The Holy Spirit would tell you that Jesus is enough. It is NOT Jesus + "not willfully sinning" or "behaving". This guy is correct is the fact that you cannot lose your salvation. Spreads the good news. :)
So, you think you can do whatever you want and remain saved? You're in trouble if you really believe that, and/or you just haven't been born again... and there are no 'rewards' in Hell. When (if?) you receive the Holy Spirit, you won't WANT to sin, but you might... and it will grieve you. If you choose to ignore that pang of conscience (Jesus), then your heart is hardened against the Lord. After a certain tipping point, there's no going back. This is the falling away. If you don't already, I pray you come to know your savior before you die. And then persevere in the faith until the end. Maranatha!
My husband died and He got set free from demon possession before he died! He was a real Christian way back. Turned his bAck on God ..became possessed for years..then at the end God set him free and the demons were gone forever!! He was God's again!!! He's in Heaven I had an Angel Tell me so!!! He spoke to me after his departure. I had a heavenly visitation!!
If your a True Born Again Believer in Christ you Cannot become possessed!! The devil can influence you to do bad things but it's impossible to get possessed by him or his minions!! Once saved Always Saved! I'm sorry to say this but your husband was not a True Born Again Believer! I hope that he finds his way with The Lord. God bless
@Yelitza hey friend :) I felt compelled to share these verses with you that come from the word of God. We read that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption (rapture and resurrection) - we see this in Ephesians 1:13-14, 4:30. We are sealed. He is the earnest (guarantee) of our inheritance. We see again in 2 Corinthians 1:22 that we are sealed, and that He is the earnest. This is consistent with John 14:16 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” “being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” 1 Peter 1:23 KJV We receive eternal life (spiritually) when we believe. We see this in Ephesians 2. This is by the regeneration performed by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:4-7). The work on our bodies is completed on the day of the rapture resurrection. Until then, we remain in fleshly bodies with a sinful nature (Galatians 5:17, Romans 8:7, 7:24-25, 1 Corinthians 15:5”). Think about this for a moment. Really consider this. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 KJV If sin could be imputed after salvation, the life could not be eternal. Because the wages of sin is death. Now I don’t condone sinning, we are to walk in the Spirit - but this is a part of our walk, or our discipleship. This is not to be confused with salvation, which is by faith alone - we see this in multiple points in scripture. There are other verses that can appear contrary to this, but that is when they are interpreted out of context. We must rightly divide scripture (2 Timothy 2:15) to ensure accurate understanding. Otherwise scripture will appear to contradict itself - which it shouldn’t, because God cannot lie. Scripture should harmonise always. I hope this is helpful, even liberating and a source of joy to you. Eternal life is eternal life, this is the grace of God. It’s not our works that justify us or make us acceptable to God, it’s the completed work of Christ. We receive forgiveness, redemption, cleansing, justification, sanctification, and reconciliation through the shed blood of Christ (Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, Romans 5:9, Ephesians 2:13, 1 Peter 1:18-19, 1 John 1:7, Hebrews 13:12, Matthew 26:28). This is what is acceptable to God, there’s nothing we can do to earn or maintain our salvation - because we cannot achieve sinless perfection. Think about it. Adam and Eve commuted just one sin and that was enough to condemn them - because the wages of sin is death. So it’s either no sin at all, or sin. We can’t achieve that because of our bodies, it’s impossible when we sit down and realistically consider it. I know I can’t be perfect on my own account, I rely on Christ. We cannot contribute to our own salvation, or right standing with God - Jesus paid it all because we couldn’t. Our salvation is eternal, and it’s a free gift received through faith alone, we cannot earn it. There are many false doctrines out there in various denominations that will teach that you have to work for it, or work to keep it. But this is not scriptural. It is a free gift given by God’s grace (out of the kindness and goodness of His heart). Getting saved implies someone else does the saving. If we have to work for it, then “it is finished” is no longer true - it wouldn’t be finished. But the thing is, that it is finished, as Jesus said. All sin has been paid for - all of it. Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Also, did you know it’s not our own righteousness that counts for anything? That’s right, when we are saved, we are imputed with the righteousness of Christ. You don’t get to Heaven by trying to be righteous enough yourself. The believer’s faith is accounted for righteousness (Romans 4:5). “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Romans 4:3-5 KJV The believer is imputed with the righteousness of God (Romans 3:22, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 4:22-25). We also see this in Isaiah 61:10: “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.” See how the Lord is the one who provides the robes and is the one doing the clothing? Just think about the amazing and unfathomable riches of His grace, love and mercy. Our salvation is a free gift (Romans 5, Ephesians 2) 💖 We become spiritually born again, children of God (John 1:12-13). I think this is why it’s vital that our sins are forgiven and we’re cleansed, so that God’s Spirit can in dwell within us - remember that iniquity separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2), sin is an issue that needs to be addressed, and Christ addressed it fully on the cross. The points made above do prove eternal security. These are not my opinions, but this is what the word of God explains. It’s a grace and love thing by God, not a works thing on our part ever. We cannot contribute to our own justification or salvation in anyway at all. If your friend really believed the gospel, the scripture in Ephesians does state that she is sealed unto the day of redemption. Which is good news for her. I’m thinking, either she’s going through a phase at the moment and the Lord will bring her back (which is very possible, she wouldn’t be the first prodigal who came back). Or perhaps she didn’t truly believe. “Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.” 2 Timothy 2:19 KJV I will pray for her. I just realized I shared my experience in a previous post, the LOrd Himself warned me of hell and kissing my salvation during a time I was committing fornication. The bible says MANY who say Lord, Lord will be turned away and not only turned away, they will be SHOCKED, that's why they plead with Jesus saying, but didn't we do this Lord? And didn't we do that Lord? But they were workers of sin, iniquity. The bible says we know the Florence between the children of the devil and the children of God. The children of the devil willfully and unrepentant lying sin with no remorse. It's a very dangerous thing to think you can sin all you want and not lose your salvation.

Faith in Jesus is the foundation of our righteousness, nothing else. This doesn't mean that we will love sin....between saying we "can" sin and saying we "can live in" sin are two different things. We "can" means that we hate sin, but are sometimes mistaken, and the real sign of true faith is repentance when you sin.... David....repented..He had been with God, but he could sin....and when he learnt of his sin, he repented, that is the true sign of a regenerate man, not sinless perfection while in the flesh.
So...your saying that scripture doesn't apply to us now? What is falling away to a Christian? Does it just mean backsliding into sin or living in sin? Or does falling away mean departing from the faith...not believing anymore?

That is what OSAS implies. if you are once saved, you will go to heaven even if you hate on your fellow human being and segregate them. But Jesus clearly warned his disciples that holding on to UNFORGIVENESS and bitterness will take them to hell (Matthew 18:32-35). John warned that christians who hold on to hatred will not enter heaven (1 John 3:15). It is so amazing and disgraceful to see christians in the United States carrying a bible in their hands and continuing to keep racial hatred in their hearts. Of course OSAS allows them to do that. If once saved always saved is not true then after your saved the next sin you commit will send you to Hell. Eternal life begins when you are saved and not when you die and go to Heaven.

If one cannot loose our salvation then when Jesus said in the book of Revelation that our name CAN be blotted out of the book of life. If we can't loose our salvation, according to some people, then who was Jesus referring to about your name been erased from the book of life? To my understanding of the Word of God only the names on that book is referring to saved people. As far as I know no unbiliever's names are found in this book. Clearly The Lord makes it very plain that if you turn away from Him,by definition you're lost. This makes reference to all His followers I say this because people try to say that Jesus was referring to Israel and that's not so. So yes, it is very possible to loose your salvation.

So if I was born again and then became Muslim would I still be saved according to theology of an "unlose-able" salvation? Honest question, not trying to troll here. Just trying to understand how far this goes. Also is eternal life, living forever? If it is then not being able to lose eternal life makes sense. Or is it salvation?

Glen Swain Who told you that? Read the parable of The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). That straying son chose to live a life of sin. He severed his relationship with his father. And even though his birth right as a son is still there, yet he was disinherited. We as Christians are the same. Because of our freedom of will, we can choose to do whatever we want with it, but only not to use this freedom to indulge in sin as we are being warned in the epistle (see Galatians 5:13).

Eternal life cannot be lost no matter what the Christian does or does not do - John 10:28-29, Romans 8:38-39. Eternal life is not something a person gets when he's good, then loses it when he's bad, then gain it back again when he's good. This type of reasoning is ridiculous and not Biblical at all. Eternal life is a one time thing and lasts for all eternity.
It seems to me that there is an interpretation here that needs to be uncovered. The word "eternal" can describe life or my possession of life. How you interpret this changes your stand. Eternal security says, "You eternally possess life. How could you lose it." The other side says, "you possess eternal life. You can step out of 'the stream' of eternal life, thereby 'losing' it, but that life is still eternal." Just some thoughts. I'm still trying to determine where I stand on this issue.
dominoes7 The Bible says that once a person is saved, he is eternally saved -Romans 8:38-39, John 10:28-29, Romans 11:29, 2 Corinthians 1:22, Ephesians 1:13. A person cannot lose his salvation even if he wanted to. It is the finished work of Christ on the cross that keeps a person eternally saved, not the person. There is nothing a person can do that can undo his salvation in Jesus. The person can fail morally or doctrinally in the faith incurring God's chastisement on the person, but the person's salvation cannot be undone. A person who is eternally saved will one day face the Judgment Seat of Christ - 2 Corinthians 5:10, 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 which is not about eternal destiny, but about eternal rewards where the person's works will be evaluated, and tested to determine the gain or loss of eternal rewards. If the person's works stand up to testing, then the person will be granted an eternal reward, but if it fails the test, no reward will be granted, but the person's eternal salvation remains untouched and the person still goes into heaven. Of course, false doctrine like Roman Catholicism, Calvinism/Lordship Salvation, Arminianism which is works based will teach that a person can lose their salvation and go to hell if the Christian fails to "persevere" in their faith to the end. They base their conclusion on faulty interpretation by taking passages in the Bible out of context and by reading "their" theology into the text rather than letting the text determine their theology. There is no assurance of salvation in false doctrine because it is based on their works and they have to wait until the very end after they die to find out whether or not they made it into heaven depending on how well they "persevered".
I am really confused. On the one hand, "once saved, always saved" seems right to me. On the other hand it seems also right to me that you can lose your salvation. But I wonder: If you can lose your salvation, when will you lose it? After how much time of sinning do you lose your salvation? How many times someone can sin before losing his salvation? How will we know if we have lost our salvation? If we have lost our salvation, can we become saved again? Does it mean we can be now saved, next week "unsaved" and after repenting one month later saved again? Will our life be like this: saved, unsaved, repentance, saved, unsaved, repentance and so on?? If we lie for example and don't say sorry to God after we have lied, do we become "unsaved"? Please, if someone could help me to understand this and answer my questions. That would be really nice.
Hi Meltem, are you confused after the explanation given? I found it a little hard to digest too. May I offer you my view/explanation? If the answer is no, than just ignore the rest of this text ;) I am no scholar and I keep it simple void of theology as I have found God is very practical! God says he is LOVE, he also said he does not change! We know for sure we change all the time usually because we are unsure and confused, hence we change our mind and behaviour. I used to have anxiety attacks because of all the confusion in my head. Because I wanted to know Gods word and everyone had a different interpretations. After 30 years of being a Christian I finally gave God an ultimatum (I don't suggest to anyone they should talk to God like that, but God was kind enough to understand my yearning behind that ultimatum, which was to know him) I said: If you don't tell me what this is all about, then we are done! I will separate from you. I'am so confused. I was crying my heart out could hardly contain myself. 2 min. later I walked by a homeless man and without prompting he got up and said to me: Do not loose your faith! You can imagine that my jaw dropped and I thought now I really lost my marbles and if anyone would have given me this testimony I would have dismissed them! And he said it again. Do not loose your faith! I shut up, stopped crying and kept walking. I was quiet for quite some time. But then gradually things changed. God put people of faith into my path, literally I got promptings to read books (often only providing one little clue to the big puzzle). It has been 5 years since. You would not believe the things I have seen, learned and most importantly the miracles and blessings I have received from God in spite of my sins. Because God is LOVE he is faithful to us even when we are not! He did not just send his son because I loves us dearly, but continues to go to extreme lengths to woe each and everyone of us! This is not an excuse to sin, but you can also sin and not even know it. Important is that you always believe and trust in him regardless of the circumstances and it does take years sometimes for prayers to be answered and changes to take place. But God LOVES you and he is not a dead god, and as long as you trust him to be who he promised you/us to be you may fall but he will help you up again. Your only concern is to keep on that path, don't let anyone confuse you! If I may say one last thing this is important! When you fall do not condemn yourself! Be convicted meaning when you fall acknowledge it, and literally speak out an apology to God for the specific thing you have done (no generalizations) grovelling is not required. Even if it happens again continue on and believe and trust in him, ultimately with his help you will succeed! Thanks for allowing me to share ;)!!!

Meltem D. Sorry Meltem, but now I am confused. Where did you get the idea that God has something against sickness? Did Jesus not heal the sick??? Unless that sickness is related directly to a crime I have no idea where you would get that idea from. Or is there something else that you are really concerned about? If that is the case I would bring it before God and ask him for his help. If you are in the US and can't find a doc to help you why not try reaching out to Dr. Phil or The Doctors show. It is not my intention to be callus or uncaring that is not the case! My matter of fact response is because I care a lot, but if it is one thing I have learned these past few years brutal honesty with God is the key, that will also give you peace of mind which is what you need when you are sick! I know because I have been there myself. I do wish you to get well, but I wish you to get well all over. If you allow me I will pray for you, my prayer request will be that you would first and foremost find the trust in God to be honest with him, the rest follows. Exactly. A pastor once said that the Holy Spirit does not jump out of a believer each time they sin. We are sealed to the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption.
I believe there's a difference in Salvation and people falling away from God.I don't believe that we can lose what God done for us on the cross. I do believe that we can get saved and start living for God but then Fall Away. If you fall away and you don't get back to God and get your sins forgiven by Jesus then I don't believe that you can get into heaven. 1st Corinthians 6:9-11, Revelation 21:8, Revelation 21:27, Matthew 7:21-23. you cannot live in sin and do these things and expect to go to heaven. if you fall away or mess up and get out of the will of God then you need to repent and get back to God. Remember The Prodigal Son. I find it really hard to believe that you will still go to heaven if you are living for fleshly lust and willfully sinning all the time and not trying to live for God. God tells us to repent. John 2:1. if you are living in your sin and are not at least trying to repent then how could you ever get into heaven after reading what the Bible says about getting into heaven. God has a standard for his people. 1st Peter 1:15 -16, Matthew 5:48. God wants us to be holy, and to try to be as perfect as we can possibly be, and to try to be sinless.

You missed the true answer, which is the Catholic interpretation. Jesus and the Apostles clearly caution that believers can sin and turn from God, and that this will separate you from God. Matthew 10:22, Matthew 24:50, Luke 8:6,13, John 3:36, John 15:5-6, Romans 11:19, 1 Cor 6:9-12, 1 Cor 15:1-2, Col 1:21-23, 1 Thea 4:3-6, 2 Thes 1:7-9, 1 Tim 1:19-20, 2 Tim 2:10-13, Hebrews 3-12-14, 2 Peter 2:20-21, 1 John 1:8-10, just to name a few. All examples of when actions separated people from God and salvation is lost. The answer is sincere repentance, renewed faith, and continual following of Jesus’s commandments. This is not salvation via works, as faith is a prerequisite...but all who have true faith will follow the example of Jesus. And when we sin, as we all do, we must sincerely repent and correct our ways. This is what James meant when he says “faith without works is dead.” And Christians who abandon their faith - which can happen, we all know them - have also abandoned salvation.

+John Gilhuis Paul was exhorting the Philippians to "work out" the salvation that they already possessed to prevent spiritual atrophy/stagnancy. Paul was not saying to do good works or that the presence of good works is the "evidence" that they were saved, or to maintain their salvation from "slipping away", but Paul was exhorting them to NOT slack off or be missing in action in the faith because of his physical ABSENCE. Paul was their mentor in the faith and he was genuinely concerned about their spiritual growth in his absence as well.
I always thought that passage is referring to someone who's tasted (heard the gospel, understood what the gospel means and rejects it) and because of that its impossible to renew them into repentance (not believing to believing in Jesus Christ)

Read the 6 verses prior to this. This is specifically talking about the end times. This verse is speaking about Christians who survive the great tribulation, in the end, will be saved. In fact, even the Christians who die, will be saved, but this verse is specifically talking about those people who survive the end times, and are saved.

Silvannas Mckenzie Do you believe you are Saved because of how well you obey the commandments? Salvation comes from believing in Christ alone for Salvation. Once you are born again, we are to show our love for Christ by our good works, and repent of our sins. But when you say "We have to endure to the end to be saved", you make it sound like we will only be saved if we keep living by a certain moral code. This undoes the blood of Christ, and makes it a works-based Salvation. Because of our prideful nature, it's tough to put all of our faith in Christ, but that is how we are saved. If you deny this man's teachings, you are denying the simple Gospel that we are saved by grace through faith, APART from any good works of the the law (following the commandments). I showed you how you took that verse out of context, and it's dangerous to look at one verse on it's own. Let me know if you have any questions.
Chad Daniels yeah, i heard that faith alone salvation ends after the rapture or somethings. Seem the terms of salvation depend entirely on when the rapture takes place.
Sorry Pal, your Salvation is not maintained by how many works your perform, or how many sins you commit. It's a free gift. God will deal with those believers who have become carnal. He will Chastise them, and discipline them.

A question I want to ask you is this: Do you have assurance of your salvation currently? If so, what is it based on? Is it your works, your personal efforts at repenting, trying as hard as you can not to sin till you're blue in the face, or is it based on Jesus simple promise of John 3:16, John 5:24, John 6:47, John 10:28-29, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 16:30-31. I Seek him every day for repentance but i can't find him the same way i had him when he saved me. He's keeping me able to seek him, but i still dont have break thru, please PLEASE someone pray for me, ask God how long he will cast me off. Did i really blaspheme the Holy Ghost?

My bible says God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance! Repentance is absolutely necessary for salvation. And if you cannot be renewed again to repentance than you are not saved! A husband leaves and cleaves to his wife. We as believers do the same in forsaking our sin of unrighteousness and dead works and cleave to Christ and Christ alone! Repentance is how we leave sin and cleave to Christ. Repentance means thinking differently after receiving the knowledge of the truth. This change of mind is led by God's kindness and is powerful. It causes a person to change their emotions and their actions regarding sins. The sin we once loved we now hate shows we have repented. If a believer falls away to the point where they can no longer hate their sin, they have lost their salvation. You can try to label people like me as "Armenian" if you want to, but I'm just a bible believing Christian. And the Word clearly states a believer can lose their salvation. But Refuse the younger widows, for when they have begun to grow wanton against Christ, they desire to marry, Having DAMNATION because they CAST OFF THEIR FIRST FAITH(1 Timothy 5:11-12). That's what the Bible teaches. Eternal life is that we may know Him!(John 17:3) The life is in Jesus, who said Himself He is the way, the truth, and the life.(John 14:6) If you depart from Him you will have departed from eternal life. This is why He says to abide in me, or you will be cut off(John 15:6). Eternal life does not merely mean unending life, because the damned have unending life in the lake of fire. Don't darken the light of God's Word. It is the truth, and the truth will set you free. Satan's lie from the beginning is "you will not surely die". Don't speak the same lie of Satan! I agree w/ what you said except for the 1 Timothy verse. You used that out of context; it was referring to denying young widows who are bound for remarriage help from the church.

Hello I really liked your reply because you know what you’re talking about so maybe you can help me. I was born again at 19 but fell away into unbelief and eventually into new age garbage. Now, many decades later I want to return to the Lord but I’m afraid certain scriptures like some of the ones you mention mean I cannot Repent and return to the Lord. This was 30 years ago, but God has been gracious to me ever since. I was clearly a Luke 8:6/Luke 8:13 Christian. The above Scriptural passages by "heymichaelc" have all been taken out of context and misapplied from a Calvinist/Lordship Salvation perspective which is false. These passages are very commonly abused and perverted by many false teachers to teach that Christians who fall away in the faith will prove that "they were never saved to begin with" (Calvinist view) or "will lose their salvation and can't get it back." -(Arminian view) However, both views are wrong and are opposite sides of the same coin. Both Calvinism and Arminianism are 2 false doctrines that have permeated all the churches within mainstream Christianity for centuries like a malignant cancer with their false teachings. Even though you fell away for decades, God will take you back with open arms. If you have ever BELIEVED in the past in Christ by faith alone apart from your works, then you are eternally saved. At the very moment of belief/faith you are sealed with the UNBREAKABLE SEAL of the Holy Spirit, so it doesn't matter what you do or don't do down the line. Your fellowship with God will be greatly affected, but not your eternal salvation. The following passages in the Bible verify this: John 5:24 KJV - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is PASSED FROM DEATH UNTO LIFE. Past tense. The free gift of eternal life is a once for all done deal right then and there just like the woman in Luke 7:50 and the thief on the cross in Luke 23:42-43. Absolutely nothing down the line can undo salvation, no matter what the person does or does not do can undo his/her salvation which is an eternal work of God which cannot be reversed. There are many examples in the Old Testament where the Israelites who were God's chosen people who had a very persistent history of UNFAITHFULNESS and DISOBEDIENCE living wickedly. They were worshiping demon gods, burning incense to them, and sacrificing their children in the fire despite God warning them not to. In Ezekiel 22, there are accounts of murder, idolatry - Ezekiel 22:4. Ezekiel 22:6 - Israeli princes were using their power to commit murder. Ezekiel 22:7 - parents were treated with contempt, foreigners were oppressed, the fatherless and widows were mistreated. Ezekiel 22:8 - the things of God were being despised and the Sabbaths were desecrated. Ezekiel 22:9 - eating at mountain shrines and committing lewd sexual acts. Ezekiel 22:10 - incest. Ezekiel 22:11 - adultery with neighbor's wives, incest with one's daughter in law and one's sister. Ezekiel 22:12 - accepting bribes to commit murder, taking unfair advantage of the poor by lending money to them and charging outrageous interest rates, and extortion against neighbors. Ezekiel 22:25 - stealing, murder. Ezekiel 22:26 - priests who teach false doctrine. Ezekiel 22:27 - their officials commit murder for unjust gain. Ezekiel 22:28 - Prophets gloss over crimes of the people by false visions and lying divinations. Ezekiel 22:29 - The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the foreigner, denying them justice. People in the Old Testament were saved the exact same way as people in New Testament times, otherwise the apostle Paul would not have quoted Genesis 15:6 in Romans 4:2-6, and Galatians 3:6 in support of the gospel. There are more accounts of the Israelites LIVING WICKEDLY recorded in Jeremiah 7:31, Jeremiah 19:5, Jeremiah 32:35, Ezekiel 16:21, 2 Kings 17:7-16, 2 Kings 17:17, Joshua 22:10,16, 17, Judges 2:10-19, Judges 3:7,12, Judges 4:1, Judges 6:1, 10, Judges 8:27, 33, Judges 10:6, Judges 13:1. There are many accounts in Ezekiel chapters 1-8 where the Israelites were living wickedly. God chastised them in every instance of their wickedness by sending disaster, calamity, plagues, sickness, premature physical death. My understanding of Hebrews 6 is if they fall away from the faith my understanding of Hebrews 6 is if they fall away from the faith to renew them back to having faith I think that's what it's saying that one so person once believe and was born again and then they no longer believe they have gone to a point where they can't repent anymore you can't bring them back to a point where they would believe again so that's my understanding of it once they've gone so far they they have fallen away from what they believe then and you no longer believe but there is a verse that he / / text them because it says even if they are unfaithful he is faithful he cannot deny himself

Peter was talking to the Palestinian Jews who just killed Jesus. Then they came to believe that Jesus was actually the Messiah. At this point they are believers. They must repent to restore their fellowship with God. Repentance is a condition of relational forgiveness.
This passage has nothing to do with the daily sins of a believer. Please study the entire word of God. It is very easy to take a passage like this out of context and cause you to doubt whether or not you are truly saved. Hear the words of the Holy Spirit! "For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin." -- Hebrews 10:14-18 Either we believe the words of the Holy Spirit of we do not. One sacrifice has made us perfect FOREVER! We do not need another "offering" because the one made 2000 years ago was sufficient and paid for ALL sins! The devil is called the accuser of the brethren for a reason. He wants nothing more than for you to doubt your salvation. If he can put out your light, you will not be a witness of God's promise and great love to anyone else.
TruthLightHouse Madam, I’m aware of that passage, and I have wrestled with it a good deal. But, I just have a few questions for you: 1. Do you believe God gave us free will? 2. Have you EVER sinned after you got saved? 3. If you did, were you convicted of that sin? 4. If you have sinned and were convicted of it, don’t you agree then that you sinned willfully?
TruthLightHouse Mam, please answer my questions above. Are you saying that you never willfully sin as a believer? I am not suggesting that God’s Grace gives us license to go on sinning as we did before we believed on Christ, i.e. without restraint, without conviction, without any afterthought, etc. but you need to be careful with what you’re saying to Christians here because this can have a negative effect on others. I’m not sure if you realize it.

well this preacher doesn't understand the bible, he is Arminian...I'm a Calvinist but not a lordship salvation Calvinist, this verse is saying you can't lose your salvation because Christ only died for sin once and "if" you lost it, you wouldn't be able to get it back cause you're only born again once.
I totally agree with him and I hate that people actually push that a person can lose their salvation when I was 5 years old I was given up for adoption and the woman who gave birth to me left me and never came back so imagine someone would tell me that God who promised he would never leave me nor forsake me will actually throw me away if I mess up it could be devastating to somebody as a matter of fact to what was 4 months in the Lord and had my Bible open I started crying and asking God how could she do this to me in Isaiah 49 a scripture jumped right out at me and the scripture said can a woman not have compassion on the child from her womb can she forget about her nursing child yes she can but I will never forget about you your walls are always before me I have inscribed your name on my hands but knowing all this I know the only reason I am going to heaven is because what Jesus did on the cross for me the sacrifice you made for me is the only reason I go to heaven thank you Jesus
Amen! That's right. Faith alone in Christ alone justifies! John 5:24, John 6:47, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 16:30-31. Our works should be a natural by-product of our faith. Our works will earn eternal rewards in heaven and our continuing perseverance will earn the special privilege of reigning with Christ.
I agree with this but instead of saying our works should be a natural by-product of our faith, I would say we have a responsibility to make sure they are. The Holy Spirit doesn’t do our obeying for us; we must choose to submit. We must count the cost of following Christ. It will not always be easy. It is a cross to bear.

The exact opposite of Matthew 11:28 is the below in which Jesus describes the Calvinism, Arminianism, and all works based salvation ideology of His time. Calvinism/Lordship Salvation, Arminian/Lordship Salvation and all works based false gospels cannot save, but put people in bondage and slavery to works, works, works. The yoke of the false doctrines of Calvinism, Arminianism, Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, etc, is obviously NOT easy or light as they front load/back load works into the salvation equation creating a damning gospel that gives no assurance of salvation. @@wtom04 His yoke is easy because when we are born again, it is our pleasure to do his will. To disobey him would be more burdensome to a lover of Christ. His “rest” is to delight in doing his will, and to turn away from doing our pleasure. This was the purpose of the Sabbath day, and now is the rest we are continually in in Christ. Galatians 5:6 says that “faith *working* through love” is the only thing that counts for anything. We are not saved by works of the law, but by faith in Jesus. It is important to know that there is a difference between works of the law, and righteous works. These are the works we are to complete in the Spirit, and if they occurred without our determination we would not be instructed to use our freedom to carry them out (Galatians 5:13). The Holy Spirit works with our cooperation only; God does not force us to obey. We must in our freedom, choose to obey. Jesus taught us that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood, and that if we do not take up our cross and follow him, we are not worthy of him. There is work to do.

Why did Jesus command the Apostles to preach "REPENT"? *“I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”* Lk.15:7 Why is there joy in heaven when a sinner stops sinning if it isn't a condition for eternal life? Jesus taught: “Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and *if he repent, forgive him.* And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.” Lk.17:3-4. Here Jesus said that if a man sins against us, we should rebuke him. And if he repents, then we should forgive him. In other words, *IF he repents of the SIN then he should be forgiven*. *“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”* Prov. 28:13. Forsaking sin is clearly a condition to receiving God's mercy. “John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of *repentance for the remission of sins.*” Mark 1:4 John taught that REPENTANCE REMITS SINS! “And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins” Lk. 3:3 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord” Acts 3:19. If you lead a life of unrepented sin, youWIL LOSE your salvation. One time after I was saved, I got involved in a relationship where I was committing fornication. One day as my boyfriend an I just finished having sex, the LOrd spoke to me so clearly. First of all I felt His presence and I knew He had just witnessed everything we did. He then gave me a word in my spirit called reprobate, this word continued to repeat itself louder and louder. I did not know what this word meant so I looked it up in the dictionary, this is what it means, someone fallen from grace, someone on their way to hell,a sinful person, a lewd person a filthy person. I got scared and I cried out to God. That night I fell asleep and in the morning when I woke up a new word came into my spirit,c it was retroceder which I didn't know what it meant, it was in Spanish, it means, TURN BACK.....GO BACK and start over, the LOrd made it so clear to me. He gave me another word asufre which in Spanish it means sulpher and He told me the phrase lake of fire. God out of His great love and mercy gave me this message and pulled me out of the fire and helped me and convicted me. Decades ago, when my mother noticed a lump in her breast that caused her concern, she told her friends that she had an encounter with a "spiritual being" in her dream telling her that the lump was "not cancerous". She felt comfort for a while, but then the lump got bigger and her friends encouraged her to go see a doctor to have it biopsied. She would not listen, but kept insisting that the spiritual being that she encountered in her dream was an "angel of God" telling her the truth. Later, the lump started getting bigger and her friends persisted in persuading her to go see a doctor to have it biopsied. She finally did, and the laboratory report came back to the doctor verifying that the breast lump was a MALIGNANT CANCER. Ever since I believed in free grace back in 1991. It was challenged almost immediately at first by a Jehovah’s Witness with James chapter 2. To Christians that imply you have to have proof of the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongues! Also To verses like in Luke “unless you repent you will in likewise perish”. To this verse in Hebrews 6. When you are regenerated, born from above or born again then you are a new creation that Will possess eternal life but the old man, the old fleshy you is still here fighting against the spirit and so the battle between the two commences and will continue til death. The old man or flesh cannot please God and will die or perish but the new you will live. Romans 8 describes the battle between the spirit and flesh. The choice of to which one you will yield to is the believers. Non believers do not even have the choice.

No one is saved by receiving "the knowledge of the truth." Were you? Or were you justified by responding to that knowledge? Basically, once Someone hears the gospel and rejects it what other sacrifice is there? "and insulted the Spirit of grace?" or blasphemed the Holy Spirit, for it is the Holy Spirit who witnesses to us who Jesus is and our need for Him alone as saviour. If someone rejects the message and never accepts it they call the Holy Spirit a liar. One who never lies. If they reject the message, of the only means of salvation and never accept it, they trample the Son of God underfoot. The term "sin wilfully" is paralleled to the Hebrews' understanding of the Law, those under the old covenant have a sacrifice for their sins, however, those who refuse to come under the old covenant do not, this is called deliberate sin or wilful sin.
Do you think it is possible for someone to go to church every week, be totally committed to the worship, prayer and bible study without actually ever having received Christ as saviour? There are many religions around the world with very devoted people who will not be saved. So, why can't there be "tares" within the church who come to God in the same way a Muslim or Hindu comes to their gods. The same could have been true of the Hebrews. Especially those who witnessed the events of Christ and the disciples, but had never "believed." Judas was one of the 12. Jesus sent the twelve out and they performed miracles and exorcised demons. In John 6:64 & 70-71, Jesus says He knows some of His disciples did not believe and that Judas would betray Him. Yet it could be said of Judas he was one of those "who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come", and therefore received "the message of the truth" and rejected it wilfully.

@Hippy(Bboomer) yes I agree. My argument is, salvation is granted whether we " feel it" or not the moment we believe that what Jesus Christ said is indeed true, meaning we believe it's true. Yes I have sinned everyday since I got saved and you Kno what, I still sin! I try walking in the spirit and then I lust over my ex. Sometimes I " feel" like I may not be saved because how could a believer do such things? Then I have to remind myself of the promises of God
Hebrews is written to Hebrews. You are not a Hebrew but a Gentile. The 13 Epistles of Romans to Philemon is our goto Gospel as Paul is the Apostle to the Gentiles. 1 Corinthians 15 1-4, Ephesians 1 7 and 2 Corinthians 5 19-21are our saving scriptures.
the verse he uses is for someone who hangs around the good things of god to taste and then reject what they were aware of...plus god says he upholds the saved person by the power of his word, jesus says he holds the person in his hand and they cant get away, then the holy spirit seals them until redemption...that's ALL 3 persons of the godhead you must defeat to lose salvation..i don't think so..
